Sad part, I really really liked Meera. My last tryst with ITV was Zindagi ki Mehek and by the time Kaleerein came around, I was so through with the quentessential naive, family loving FL. Meera was different, not cause she was a rebel but because she was real. She loved her family but that didnt mean that she didnt have opinions of her own. Sure she was judgemental, biased, and somewhat like all other cliched FL's but she was still so real.

It might sound a bit sexist but I have always had a hard time connecting with ITV FL's, just cause they are so far away from reality. I mean I get that its a drama and they are living in some idealistic world but how can a human being be so uni dimensional.

Meera was one of the few FL'S who I genuinely connected with and its sad that she has come to be same as all those other monotonous FL's.😭

And yeah what's this divorce obsession in a show that supposedly talks about sanctity of marriage? Every track leads to divorce. We thought the majboori mein divorce track would see the END of this thing but nahi that led to an even bigger... divorce.😕

So basically MU + divorce is the crux of this show and that is all Tridevis are capable of.

I started with this show for her refreshing characterization and the subtle MnB ish love story. My problem with Meera was due to my own expectations of where they would take her. Like I had really thought she would take a stand for herself and kick Sumer out. That would have been a strong msg aligned to the so called concept. I remember ranting so much and my friends quitting coz M didn't come out as promised. Over and over they reiterated that she was all TALK more than anything else. 🥱

I am still not over her strange dismissal of that character questioning and getting ready to marry him the very next day. Justifications will be there but that was not how I had read her character. Also, for the established characterization, the story should have continued with her defiance over that vile video and NOT so called sass bahu saazish. The selfless love for Vivaan is there but I was looking for a logical progression in story and coming-of-age rather than... THIS, whatever it is. Now her "strength" lies in interfering and proving herself "right" despite impractical decisions.

I continued watching for Vivaan's characterization but look what they have done to him. Reduced to mere mockery! Meera, whatever she has become, is at least consistent on where she stands but the ML is a JOKE rn. That one video MU was enough to the story for exploring their individual arcs... But instead we got a chain of MUs and now Kaleerein is like a crime thriller with two IRRITATING leads.

They can honestly go back to the basics again by exploring #Changehernot with two opinionated leads challenging societal notions, like how it was. That will save the face of this show as well but they will never do that, I am sure.🥱

I guess more than female screenplay writer , male would have dne better job on the characters bcz as far as i remember till the time we had vikas tiwari everything was right and since the time bhavna joined characters started getting compromised

She was not talented enough to explore diff characterisation of leads she never did one and viola she turned them into one to fit her writing

Imo she isnt talented then

I dont know how will they turn the course but hope they again try to go back to initial concept

Ratings must have given them idea before ,

Till bhavna is there, there will always illogical tracks bcz lack logic to write

We can just hope bhavna is out a d a good writer is in

Bcz if bad writer made show from best to worst , a good writer can again bring it back
