'Wrong number' said a familiar voice *UPDATED! PAGE 2*

Hi everyone! So I was quite frustrated after watching the OLV of how Vivaan kicks her out of Soni Kudi and I ended up writing this instead of studying but I wasn't sure if I should post it here though. But I didn't expect it to move this fast and Meera's already removing her mangalsutra and chooda heheheh So I thought why not post it here since it's considered forum activity 😳

PART 1

Meera: There you go Mr Vivaan Kapoor. Deal done. Congratulations on your freedom.

Vivaan: Mee... Meera..

Meera: No Mr Vivaan Kapoor. You've spoken a lot over the past few days. You don't have to thank me for this. I'm keeping to my part of the bargain. Remember that I told you that you may have been the one to form this marriage but I'll be the one to end it? I'm only keeping my promise. From today onwards, we go our separate paths. From today onwards, you're free from this jhalli uneducated girl. No more having to listen to someone call you gunna master or vilaithi namuna. Goodbye and all the best Mr Vivaan Kapoor. *Turns to walk out with her bags.*

Amaya: Bhai! Bhabhi please no. Don't leave. Please Bhabhi. Bhai may not need you but I do. Won't you stay for my sake at least?

Meera: Amaya, you'll always hold a special place in my heart but I'm not your Bhabhi anymore. I need this Amaya. I'm sorry but I can't stay with someone who doesn't respect me. Someone who doesn't trust me.

Amaya: But Bhabhi you both are married. Every ritual was indirectly performed between the two of you. Please Bhabhi! Was that not a sign from Babaji?

Meera: Amaya, this marriage faced one problem and it took seconds for it to crumble. And what marriage are we talking about? A marriage of sympathy and compulsion? A marriage where the two people in it don't see eye to eye at all? A marriage where the husband can't trust his wife? A marriage which was unwanted from the very beginning? A marriage which had its divorce papers ready before it could even see the light of the sun? No Amaya. This marriage was doomed from the very beginning. It was nothing but a sham for the world and for this family.

Amaya: Bhabhi what about me then? How could you even think of walking out on me? Bhai is flawed Bhabhi but I know he loves you. I know him Bhabhi.

Meera: No Amaya. You know him as a brother. I've seen him as a husband. I love you Amaya, more than words can ever express but this love for you comes at the cost of my self-respect and no woman should ever have to sacrifice her self-respect in order to save a relationship that never existed from day 1. My relationship with you Amaya goes beyond this sham of a marriage. You'll always hold a special corner of my heart but I need this Amaya. I need this.

Meera takes one last look at Vivaan and walks out.

Amaya: Bhai! Bhai! Say something Bhai! Bhabhi is leaving. WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU? GO AFTER HER BHAI! BHAI! Bhai what are you doing? Please Bhai

Vivaan: *Collapses on the floor and looks on blankly*

Amaya: Mamma! Mamma you say something please. Dolly Aunty, Amar Uncle. Dadi, Nimmo. SOMEONE STOP MEERA BHABHI PLEASE

Pammi: Beta, let her go. Meera is too broken right now. Stopping her will only make everything worse. It's not up to us to stop her anymore. She has already left Amaya. Meera left your brother mentally and emotionally the day he threw her out and broke her mangalsutra. Stopping her and forcing her to stay wouldn't do anything. You would only have her body that's devoid of her soul. Let her go beta. I have faith that she'll come back once she's healed. She needs to heal beta. By staying here, she's only constantly touching her raw wound. Let her heal and rise like a phoenix once again beta. She will rise. She will.

Amaya: But Mamma, Bhai?

Pammi: He will heal Amaya. She is his strength but now it's time for him to become hers once again. But to do that, he needs to recover from Roma's betrayal and everything else that has happened over the years. He is broken right now Amaya and because of that, no matter what he touches, his sharp edges will tear them apart. Sometimes beta things need to fall apart before they can come together.

Dolly: Pammiji is right Amaya. I've never supported my daughter till date. I've always believed that she's silly and immature and that she acts without thinking but today I realised that Meera's Papa was right in supporting her. I have faith in their relationship beta. Babaji didn't form their bond to break it like this. They'll find their way back to each other somehow but for now, allow them to heal. That's the least we can do for them.

I'm sorry it took so long! i'm a medical student and over here, we've got exams, presentations and assignment submissions almost every 2 weeks. Plus, it's almost the end of the academic year so I've got my finals coming up too. I hope this was worth the wait 😳

PART 2

With tears glistening in her eyes, Amaya looks on sadly at her brother. "But what if Meera Bhabhi doesn't come back?, she questioned. Vivaan turned sharply and looked at Amaya, his eyes speaking volumes of the regret, sorrow, hurt and confusion lying behind those brown orbs. A million thoughts running through his mind. "Meera had to come back. She can't leave him. She wouldn't. Meera would never abandon this relationship. Right? But then again, wasn't he the one who always reminded her that this marriage was nothing but a farce? Did Meera really have enough of him that she would walk away? But wait, why was he getting so affected by her leaving? Wasn't that what I wanted? To be free of this sham of a marriage and go back to London? Vivaan was puzzled. He had finally gotten exactly what he had wanted but he could not fathom his despair at Meera's exit. "Why do I feel broken looking at her walk out? Why does it feel like a thousand knives are being stabbed into me? Why just why?"

Pammi and Dolly exchange a look of fear. What if Amaya is right and Meera decides to never return?

"Dollyji, I think it's best for you to go to Meera at this point. Don't worry about Vivaan. Amaya and I are here to take care of him. Meera needs you more than ever right now."

"Ji, ji Pammiji. I'll take your leave now. Amaya beta, call us if you need any help"

Pammi moves towards Vivaan and touches his shoulder. "Manu, beta..."

Vivaan shoved her hand away but more than anything else, it was the bark of his voice that scared Pammi. "DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME MANU OR BETA. DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME AND GET YOUR SINNER'S HANDS AWAY FROM ME! STAY AWAY PAMMI KAPOOR!" Vivaan's rage at that moment held power far stronger than any wild forest fire so much so that his bloodshot eyes would turn anything that it came into contact with into embers. "Where were you all these years? WHERE?! Where were you when Amaya needed you? When I needed you? What kind of a mother are you? Did you not think of us even once? Arre even an animal saves its child first when it's faced with any trouble. But what did you do? You bolted. You ran away leaving me and Amaya all alone. You allowed Roma Kapoor to infiltrate this family and hurt all of us. DO YOU KNOW HOW AMAYA AND I SUFFERED? DO YOU KNOW THE THINGS DADI AND ROMA KAPOOR PUT US THROUGH? DID YOU NOT STOP EVEN FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND AND WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO US? Of course you didn't. Why would you? At that point and even today, you're the only one who matters to yourself. That's why you involved Meera in this game of yours. You used her and made her save Amaya instead of doing it yourself. You put her in so much of danger. SO MUCH THAT I HAD TO RESORT TO INSULTING HER SO THAT SHE WOULD LEAVE AND BE SAFE! SO MUCH THAT TODAY MY WIFE HATES ME AND HAS LEFT ME! SHE LEFT ME AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT. Get out of my sight Pammi Kapoor. Before I do anything worse, get out."

"But bet..." Pammi utters nervously

"I AM NOT YOUR BETA! Do you not understand simple English? Just go! You've done enough damage!"

"Bhai.. Bhai.. Bhai.. please calm down. Relax Bhai relax."

"AMAYA TELL HER TO LEAVE!"

"Mamma, Mamma please. Looking at Bhai's condition, I think it's best if you leave for a while. Go to the kitchen or anywhere else. Just please don't come in front of Bhai for a while. At least until he calms down. Please Mamma..."

"But Amaya, how do I leave him alone? He needs me right now."

"Amaya, Amaya, will Meera come back? Answer me Amaya. She will come back right? Amaya I screwed up Amaya. I could I do it to Meera? She's right Amaya. She doesn't deserve this sham of a marriage. She doesn't deserve someone as heinous as me as she husband. She deserve the world and so much more Amaya. She deserves things I can never give her. She left Amaya. She left. Everyone leaves me Amaya. At the end of the day, Vivaan Kapoor will always be left alone Amaya. She hates me Amaya. She hates me..."

Amaya sat there broken as her brother who had always seemed so strong and emotionless sobbed into her chest unremittingly and his hands crushing her ribs cage. Vivaan was crying as if his insides were being ripped apart and he was being stabbed by shards of glass over and over away. With each wail of grief from him flowed the immense pain he felt. His eyes were so bloodshot and raw that Amaya felt useless for not being able to help him one bit. All she could do was silently hold him and rock him slowly as the walls of the dam he had built for years finally broke apart and all the pain within him came crashing down like the waves of a tsunami.

Vivaan was unstoppable. "Meera has done what no else could. She awoken the human within the lifeless stone. Thank you Bhabhi. Thank you for bringing Bhaiya back to life. I promise you Bhabhi. Bhai will win your heart. You will return to this threshold with all the respect the daughter in law of this family is entitled to. You will return Bhabhi, this time with your kaleerein in the name of Vivaan Kapoor. You will return to the world as Meera Dhingra-Kapoor once again, this time, stronger than ever because this time, your Vivaan will be standing by your side ready to take on any storm or chaos the world decides to fling at you. I will make sure you get your rights as the wife of Vivaan Kapoor Bhabhi. Henceforth there will be no Roma Kapoor or anyone who dares to question your position in this family. I promise you that Bhabhi and this is a promise of a sister to her elder sister", Amaya couldn't help but think to herself. She had made up her mind. If these two were too blind to realise their love for each other, she would make them realise it. These two were too blind to realise that they coexisted within each other. They may have been two separate individuals for years but now, now they weren't just Meera and Vivaan. They were Meervaan and whether they believed it or not, their names were the dhadak of the other's heart, the very essence of their beings. And who could ever survive without a heartbeat after all?
