MaNan ff -It Must Be Love

Prologue

It was Late at Night...And I was driving back home from my office!My boss had
handed over extra work so It had to be late!...On my way home I had to always
cross the jungle first!I normally kept my speed slow but other cars were high!I
was listening to radio fm which was not actually working properly in that
area!I was engrossed deep in my thoughts when suddenly i hadto pull the
break!Because what i saw ahead on the road left me stunned!A man with a bottle
in his hand was walking or rather pushing himself so that he could walk...He
had to conciousness and the way he walked was more than enough to understand he
was badly drunk...Next what I say made me shout!A car and rushed towards him!I
held his shoulder and pushed him to the right side of the road!...He fell &
unfortunately I fell on him!I had to save his life...Thankfully the car passed
and we both were okay...The man started shouting

M-kya kar rahi ho?R u crazy?Pushing me on the road So desperate I couldn't
control my anger after hearing his last words soI stood up straightened my self
& shouted !

Ek toh tumhari jaan bachayi but rather than being thankful tum mujhpe chila
rahe ho! U know what u don't deserve it!After hearing this The Man got Angry
& said!Haan pehle apne ya bolte hain & now strangers too!

I took my steps further to leave for home but his condition & situation
stopped me!Suddenly there was a voice!I turned around & looked this man
fell again he couldn't even walik & obviously I couldn't leave him in this
situation so!I went near him & helped him standing up!

Me-Chalo I will drop u home...

He rolled his hand around my neck for the support & I made him sit in my
car!I went to the driving seat & sat...This man still had the bottle in his
hand...Which he had almost finished & when I saw that he still had to
take the last sip I pulled it from him & threw it away

M-hey hey kya kar rahi ho?

Me- aur kitni drink karoge tum?Look at urself sambhali nahi jaati toh Peete kyu
ho?

M-stop it!These dialogues tumhe kisne kaha diya to say all this to me...&
tears started rolling from his eyes!I stayed quiet asked him the address &
managed to drop him somehow But when I was going back all that was revolving
around my head was What must have happened with him!

As soon as I sat on my chair he called me again...I walked up to his cabin disheartened!

I sat in my small cabin beside him in his room itself! I realized that the files I neede were on the upper shelf!
Nandini-Sir par woh toh upar wale shelf mein hai...

I turned my head & climbed up the stool to take out the files!But my bad luck...I slipped down & I felt that's it Nandini Murthy u r getting ur bones broken!Thankfully I was saved...I opened my eyes in fear & found that manik had caught me I his arms!
Unfortunately he was my rescuer!
Nandini-tum..ab kyu aaya ho help karne I told u earlier that I won't be able to reach!Manik glared at me & left me...BANG!And I fell on the floor...
Nandini-ouch!R u crazy...why did u leave me?
Manik-help karo toh problem nahi karo toh problem..kisne tumhe secretary banaya hai?Wish I could have someone better..
I got up in anger
Nandini-hello Mr.Manik Malhotra tumhe aur koi tolerate nahi karne wala!
Manik-listen u little one
Nandini-hawww little one?Atleast I am small & cute not a gaint monster like u...
We both walked up to our seats in anger & started doing our work...
I was hungry..since I had missed my lunch so I took out a packet of wafers...& started munching them...
Manik was disturbed by this voice!He was staring at me the way I was eating...I felt he must be hungry too as he also missed his lunch so I walked up to his seat & offered him the wafers
Nandini-hmm
Manik just glared at me as if I offered him some weapon!I kept the packet on his table in the anger & left...I took my seat!
It was evening then & I had fallen asleep!Manik was busy in his work so we kept quiet for a while! I was enjoying my deep slumber!
Manik saw me sleeping!He took the packet I kept on his table & put in his bag...he came close to me!Smiling thinkingabout the wafer sharing scene!My hair was scattered throughtout my face!He sat beside me & moved my hair...I was sleeping during the office hours though he smiled...He kept staring at me...I don't know what this man was smiling at but surely this man is something different...I opened my eyes!And found him sitting besides...
Nandhini-sorry...I fell asleep!But I am done with the work...
Manini-this time I am leaving u because the work is done...Better sleep at nights rather than helping Drunkards on the roads!...
I was boiling in anger...I stood up & left...I sat in my car & started blabbering in anger!Ayapa what does this man want?Angry bird!I should help him r no?What does he think of himself..
I drove off!
