coming to your discussions, i dont know why, Season 2 Nandini did not impress me as season 1. there were too many discrepancies! Nandini who doesnt drink, suddenly wants bottles to be stolen and she drinks like a pro with manik. when did she start drinking? after Manik's suspected 'death'?

Manan chemistry worked to large extent due to the actors contribution, script and direction. somewhere in season2, there were loopholes. so it didnt work for me. though we did have some cute scenes, like that movie one or nandini's bucket list. But all that bucket list sounded as if it was included just for the sake of giving us Manan lollipops. we had so much time wasted on navya's adoption (who cares abt that gay couple!) and alya's silly romance! Manan were used only for romance lollipop. And Manik, chr took such a roundabout. in season 2 we had Manik who was insecure, crying, weak and not playing music too! (that was the biggest blunder, as Parth is the best while lip syncing)

we could have got strong story on Manan and others shd have remained side chrs. they cd have worked on yuvraj and manik chrs and developed a strong story. Yuvraj could have become the Harshad of second season. may be the actor who started as hero, didnt want to be a villain. so he must have left. still they shd have stuck to Manan story not moved to navya's or alya's story. Navya's adoption story became sooo ridiculous that it was painful to watch. they could have made a sensitive portrayal but was wasted.

i would go for season 1 anyday! it was a gem of a show! we shd thank richa specially for that!
