Hey guys...

I am here with another update of this story.

CHAPTER -2

Nandini and Navya reached their office The Malhotra Industries and went to their respective work tables.

Navya worked in Accounts Department and Nandini was the P.A to the boss of the Company.

The boss of the company had a very bad reputation in the eyes of his employees as he was considered a playboy and was in the news always for all the bad reasons.

But when it came to work he was a strict professional and couldn't tolerate even a single mistake of his employees. One single mistake and he would throw them out of the office. All his Employees were scared of him.

He was very punctual and disciplined at office. Nobody in the office dared to get in the bad books of their boss.

But there was only one person in the office who was not scared of the arrogant boss.

(I will get to that person later on . Now is the time for the grant entry of the Boss of the Company)

A black Mercedes Maybach 900 stopped before the office building and the driver got down immediately and opened the door for the Boss.

A man of around 26 years old got down with full on attitude and walked in straight into the office.

The peon of the office took the office bag and followed him till the cabin.

The boss was none other than Manik Malhotra.

Manik walked into his cabin and took his seat.

The peon kept the bag at the side table and left.

After a minute or so, there was a knock on the door to his Cabin.

Manik who was engrossed in a file with out lifting his head said- Come in...

Nandini walked into the cabin with a writing pad and pen.

(Nandini was P.A to Manik.)

{Nandini was the 10th person who was on this job.

Manik had fired all the previous one's as they were careless towards their work.

None of them had stayed for more than 5 months. But Nandini was the only girl who managed to stick to the job for 8 months.

It was not that Nandini didn't commit any mistake. Infact she had committed more blunders than any of the previous P.As of Manik.

But Manik had not fired her only because of her Late father Arvind Murthy who was the most trusted employee of his office.

After his death,Nandini was the sole breadwinner of her family which consisted of her mother Sushma Murthy and a kid brother Rishab Murthy.

Arvind Murthy died a year back and Manik had promised to give Nandini a job in his office.

Since she wasn't qualified enough to get the post which her father held, Manik had given her the job of his P.A.

Nandini worked at the office in the morning hours and was completing her education in an evening college.

Her education was being funded by the Malhotra Industries.}

Coming back to the story, Nandini walked into the cabin and stood infront of Manik across the table.

As Manik was busy in his work, Nandini had to wait till he got free . In the meantime she was staring at the sky which was visible through the glass window behind Manik.

She was passing the time by counting the number of birds flying in the sky.

After about 15 minutes, Manik finished his work and looked at Nandini who was making all sorts of cute faces staring out of the window.

Manik looked in the direction where Nandini was staring.

He called out her name but she was too busy in her own world.

Manik got up and walked towards Nandini and stood right behind her.

He whispered in her ears- Ms.Murthy... The sky looks so beautiful ,isn't it?

Nandini still lost in her world said - Yes. Very beautiful...

Manik - Toh let's do one thing. Aaj office work ko side me rakh dete hai. And Sara din yuhi enjoy karte hai nature ko.

Nandini - Kaash... Aisa ho sakta. Par wo monster aisa hone nahi dega. Agar usey pata chalega to office se abhi bahar kardega.

Manik smirked and said- Par Monster ko to already pata chalgaya.

Nandini on hearing this came back to her senses and looked at Manik's chair which was empty.

Then she turned back and found Manik standing right infront of her.

Nandini jumped at her place in shock and made a scared face.

Nandini selfthought -

Ayyappa yeh monster ne meri Saari baatein sunli.

Ab yeh mujhe nahi chodega.

Ab to mujhe koi nahi bacha sakta isse.

Meri job to gayi Ab.

Thinking of all this Nandini started to walk out of the cabin with her head hung low.

Manik - STOP!!! Where do you think you are going?

Nandini - Sir mai Janti hu aap mujhe job se Nikal doge Ab. Isiliye Mai khud hi jarahi hoon.

Manik went and sat on his chair said:

Manik - Maine bola tumhe jaane ke liye. Aur is office me mai decide karunga kise rakhna hai aur kise nikalna hai. Tum apna pea sized brain mat use karo.

Nandini - But Sir!!!

Manik - No ifs and buts. Ab chup chap se yahan aao aur ye files lejakar accounts department me dedo.

Nandini - Iska Matlab aap mujhe job se nahi Nikal rahe ho. Thank you sir. Thank you so much.

Nandini's face lit up .

Manik - Ms. Murthy... You can leave now.

Nandini took the files and immediately rushed out of the cabin in excitement.

As soon as Nandini left, Manik sighed and nodded his head in disbelief.

Then he got busy in his work.

Hey guys...

Here's another update of this story...

CHAPTER -3

As soon as Nandini left, Manik sighed and nodded his head in disbelief.

Then he got busy in his work.

Nandini rushed out of Manik's cabin immediately and went straight to the Accounts Department.

She walked upto Navya who worked in the Accounts Department.

Navya was busy in some work when Nandini came and sat on the chair infront of Navya.

On seeing Nandini, Navya asked- Ayyy... Tumhe kya hua ? Firse Kuch gadbad kardi kya tumne.

Nandini innocently said- Haan Navya wo Maine na Manik sir ke face pe hi unhe monster boldiya...

Navya's eyes widened in shock.

Navya - Hey Bhagwaan... Tum bhi na Nandu. Kya Kia yeh tumne???

Nandini - Navya mai kya karti mai toh apne Mann me hi bolna chahti thi but pata nahi kaise mere Muh se ye Nikal gaya.

Navya - Toh kya Manik sir ne tumhe danta??? Ye papers kya hai tumhare haath me. Kahi termination letter to nahi hai???

Saying this Navya took the papers from Nandini's hand and looked at them carefully.

Nandini - Arey nahi Navya, Sir ne mujhe job se nahi nikala. Infact I am surprised ke wo har baar hi meri galti maaf kardete hai. Pata nahi aisa kyu hai???

Navya - Arey Budhu ye toh sab hi jaante hai ki Sir tumhare Papa ki wajah se tumhe naukri se nahi Nikalte.

Nandini got lost in her thoughts.

The conversation between Nandini and Navya was heard by the head of the Accounts Department.

Head- Tum dono ko yaha pe kaam karne ke liye rakha hai ya baatein karne ke liye.

Nandini looked at him and stood up out of respect.

Navya - Nandini tum khadi kyu hogayi???

Nandini - Wo Cabir sir...

Navya - Relax Nandini... Tumhe Cabir se darne ki koi zarurat nahi hai.

(The head of the department was none other than Cabir.)

Cabir- Kya yaar Navya tumne saara maza kharab kardiya. Mujhe respect milraha tha Nandini se aur tumse wo bhi Dekha nahi Kia. Tum khud to mujhe respect deti nahi ho. Aur Ab dusro ko bhi mana kar rahi ho. This is not fair...

Navya - Drama bandh karo apna. Nandini meri friend hai to I am warning you usey trouble mat karna.

Cabir - Ok meri Maa nahi karunga Nandini ko trouble. Ab Khush.

Saying this Cabir joined his hands infront of Navya accepting his defeat.

Cabir- Waise Nandini... Tum Kuch bolrahi thi Manik ke baare me.

Nandini - Nahi Kuch nahi...

Cabir- Arey batao na. Jaise mai Navya ka friend hoon Waise hi tum bhi meri friend bansakti ho.

Nandini - Thank you sir. But Ab mujhe Jana hoga. Mai to bas ye papers dene aayi thi apko.

Saying this she handed over the papers to Cabir and went away from there .

Cabir self thought-

Monster huh... Interesting...

Ab toh us monster se milna hi padega.

Bada maza aane wala hai aaj toh.

Cabir laughed out loud on imagining the fun he would be having at the cost of Manik...

Navya - Tum has kyu rahe ho wo bhi itni zoro se???

Cabir- Kuch nahi... Tum kaam karo, mai baad me aake milta hoon.

Saying this he bid Bye to Navya and headed towards Manik's cabin.

In the meantime in Manik's cabin -

Manik was on a call when Cabir entered the cabin.

Manik asked him with his eyes to have a seat while he finished the call.

Cabir sat on the chair across the table.

When Manik finished the call, he looked at Cabir who was silently studying Manik's facial expressions.

Manik - What???

Cabir - Kuch nahi dekh raha tha ki tu kis angle se monster Lagta hai...

Manik - Matlab???

Cabir- Matlab ye ki Maine abhi abhi suna ki koi tujhe monster kehkar refer kar raha tha. Ye chakkar kya hai???

Manik - Tu Nandini ki baat kar raha hai???

Cabir- Not bad huh Bro. Maine to uska naam bhi nahi liya aur tujhe pata chalgaya ki mai Nandini ke baare me baat kar raha hoon.

Manik - Tu kehna kya chahta hai??

Cabir- Yahi ki ye monster itna meherbaan kyu hai Nandini pe???

Manik - Cabir tu janta hai na fir kyu pooch raha hai...

Cabir- Because Jo mai janta hoon wo pura sach nahi hai. Ye sab tu parwah ke wajah se nahi kar raha hai. There is definitely more to it. Think about it once. Mai chalta hoon...

Aur ache se sochna...

With this Cabir left leaving Manik behind to deal with his thoughts.

Manik rested his head back on the chair closing his eyes and let out a sigh...

Unknowingly a smile appeared on his face when Nandini's thought crossed his mind.

Manik immediately opened his eyes and covered his face with both his hands.

He let out a deep breath and resumed his work.

Hi guys...

Presenting another chapter of this story.

CHAPTER -4

Manik was so engrossed in his work that he didn't realise that he had been working since too long.

It was almost 8 pm.

Manik got a call from Dhruv. It is then that he looked at the time.

Manik attended the call.

Manik - Haan Dhruv bolo...

Dhruv - Bhai kaha ho aap???

Manik - Dhruv mai office me hoon. Kya hua koi problem me to nahi hai na tu???

Dhruv - No Bhai... Mai office hi aaraha hoon. Jaldi se bahar aajao.

Manik - Tu yahan kyu aaraha hai??? Mai khud hi ghar aajata.

Dhruv - Sawal baad me puchte rehna. Pehle stop all your work and come out.

Manik - Ok Mai bas 5 min me aaya.

Dhruv - Ok . Mai rakhta hoon. Bye.

Saying this he disconnected the call.

Manik selfthought - Bilkul bachcho jaisi zid karta hai. Pagal...

Manik smiled and kept the files aside.

He came out of his cabin and saw that the office was almost empty except for 2-3 staff including Nandini.

Manik - Tum log abhi tak gaye nahi?

Nandini - Sir aap office me ho to hum kaise jasakte hai ?

Manik - What??? R u serious? Tum logon ko mere jaane tak wait karne ki zarurat nahi hai. Jaise hi office hours khatm hojaye tum log jasakte ho.

Everyone nodded and left.

As Nandini was about to leave, Manik stopped her and said- Nandini... Tum Navya ke sath rehti ho na? To Uske sath hi jaati hogi ghar. Where is she?

Nandini - Ji sir... Wo actually Navya apne friend ke sath gayi hai.

Manik - Phir tum kaise jaogi ghar? Do you need any assistance?

Nandini - Don't worry Sir ...Mai taxi le lungi. Ab mai jau ?

Manik wanted to stop her but then felt that Nandini was not comfortable in taking his help.

So he half-heartedly said - Ok. Good night.

Nandini - Good Night sir...

With this she left.

Manik got a call from Dhruv.

Manik - Haan Dhruv mai bas aaraha hoon.

And with this he came out of the office and saw Dhruv waiting for him.

Dhruv - What Bhai??? Kitni der lagadi aane me. Mai kabse wait kar raha hoon?

Manik - Sorry... Ab chalein...

Dhruv - Haan Chalo...

Both of them sat in the car and Dhruv ignited the engine and drove off from the office.

After reaching at some distance, Manik saw that Nandini was waiting at the roadside for taxi.

Manik- Dhruv stop the car...

Dhruv applied sudden brake and the car halted infront of Nandini.

Manik - Nandini tumhe abhi tak koi taxi nahi mili??? Sit in the car we will drop you.

Nandini - No Sir... it's Ok. Mai manage karlungi.

Manik - Don't be stupid... Is waqt tumhe taxi milegi bhi .Just get in...

Nandini selfthought - Sir is right... Mujhe taxi milne se rahi yahan. To kya karoon? Is monster ki Help lu ya nahi?

Manik broke Nandini's thought process and said- Ab soch kya rahi ho. Come sit in the car.

Nandini nodded, opened the back door and sat in and Dhruv started the car.

Nandini - Thank you sir...

Dhruv - Hello Miss Nandini... Ab mujhe nahi Lagta ki Bhai mera intro karwayenge tumse. To mai hi boldeta hoon apne baare me.

I am Dhruv Malhotra. Tumhare boss ka chota Bhai.

Nandini smiled and said - Hello sir...

Dhruv - Arey yaar... Tum ye sir var mat bulao mujhe. Just call me Dhruv.

Dhruv adjusted the mirror so that he could see Nandini's expressions.

Nandini - Ok Sir... I mean Dhruv...

Few minutes passed by...

Dhruv looked at Manik and then at Nandini.

Both of them were silent.

Dhruv to Manik- Bhai aapki employee bahut hi kam bolti hai bilkul aapki tarah. Pata nahi aap log office me kaise kaam karte honge?

Manik - Shut up Dhruv and concentrate on driving.

Dhruv - Okay. As you say.

With this he increased the speed and drove to Nandini's place as instructed by her.

Dhruv - So we are here... Finally.

All three of them got down the car and Nandini said -

Thank you Sir and Thank you Dhruv for helping me out.

Manik - It's Ok Nandini. You don't need to say thanks. It was my duty.

Nandini looked at Dhruv who said - Yeah Right... It was our duty . After all tum Bhai ki employee Jo ho. Aur Ab hamara intro bhi hochuka hai. So we can be friends...

Saying this Dhruv forwarded his hand for a handshake.

Nandini smiled and took Dhruv's hand .

Dhruv handed Nandini a piece of paper and gestured through his eyes to not tell Manik about it.

Nandini lightly nodded and said- Bye.

Dhruv and Manik stood side by side and as Nandini was about to enter the house, she turned back and Dhruv winked at her.

Seeing this Nandini blushed and lowered her head.

Then she went inside.

Manik was under the impression that Nandini's smile and blush was for him .

This brought a huge smile on his face.

Dhruv - Bhai chale. We are getting late.

Manik - Haan let's go.

With this both the brothers drove off from there.
