Chapter 37
"You okay right?" He asked me once more while I nodded. We were in jet flying back to London. I was literally crying because I was missing everything.
My mind recalled everything from us -landing here in Delhi. I will miss everything. Me and Manik shared so many special moments with each other.
I looked by my side as he ruffled his hair in frustration. He had been telling me sorry since long but I being stubborn didn't responded it.
"You are forgiven "I said looking at his condition.
" What? "He snapped back his head.
" I forgive you " I said and he gave me big cheeky smile.
" Really? "He asked
" Yes "I said giving him small smile.
" I am soo happy! I got my friend back "He said jumping and hugging me.
" Manik? I won't be able to be your friend! Till the time you really trust me because you don't do now "I said and he looked baffled
" But! Nandini I trust you now "He exclaimed.
" You don't Manik. When you have to choose between. me and your loved ones you will choose your loved ones. I don't have any problem. But evrytime insulting me and then being by their side is not the way.I am sorry if I am talking rubbish but I don't know I feel so low thinking over it. "I said pushing my hand on his and squeezing it.
"I trust you. If you want me to prove I will prove. Till the time I just know that I have someone caring and loving beside me "He said smiling and kissing my forehead which took me by surprise.
Why is he acting like this? We may not lead more of life together and he is making it all difficult. So difficult.
Only if he knew I love him so very much .
I looked away out of window when my tears slipped.
I just don't know how my life is so confusing. Yesterday dad called that they are travelling to Chicago for Mom's treatment. I am happy that she is finally being treated but again I am sad knowing me and Manik will no longer be together. I just feel so bad about leaving behind everything. I will graduate this year and will be capable to do something new in my life. But that doesn't means I can live my life happily. I have fallen so hard for Manik that I would need him by my side every time.
My head snapped when I felt weight on my shoulder. I looked to find Manik dozing here and there in sleep.
My smile plastered over the frown. I smiled and my hands could not stop to caress his cheeks.
I love him so much.

It was late in the evening when we reached home. Manik ordered beforehand for the dinner. We both we're tired and just waiting for the bed to retire but yet their was a thick tensed air between us.
"We will meet after freshening up. " he said looking into my eyes while I avoided his eyes.
Giving him small nod I walked to my room.
It feels a kind of home. I quickly changed into casuals and walked out.
Before Manik could come I unpacked the dishes.
He soon approached.
Giving me small smile he sat down.
"So ready for dinner "he said taking a bit of curry.
And I nodded
We ate in silence until he broke the silence
"Tomorrow we have a date "
"But George never said " I said
"MAYBE he forgot " he said shrugging
"Be ready by 10 in morning. We need to go somewhere " he said and I nodded waiting for tomorrow
"My outfit?" I asked
"Anything you wish " he said and I nodded.
I stood up taking his plate but his pull stopped me.
He stood up and took his dish
"I will do it " he said and did his dish while I admired him.
"So how is your family now "he asked suddenly sitting on slab while I did dishes.
"They are good " I said giving him small smile.
"Your mom? " he asked
"She is fine.she is going to have her further operation in Chicago " I said and he nodded.
"If you need for money do ask " he said and I nodded.
I walked to grab towel at the same time he jumped off the slab and we collided. His hand immediately rested on my waist pullingnboth of us on the floor.
My hands crawled to his waist to secure my position.
While I was struggling above him my eyes caught his.
I looked at his those beautiful brown orbs.
"You are beautiful " he said pulling me more while I was now really very close to him.
"I -" he was intruppted by phone call.
I slowly stood up from the awkward position and he cursed under his breathe. His mint freshning never left me.
