Chapter 2(a)

Bg- tuning...

The hawali was decorated beautifully with flower garlands...everybody was busy in the mehendi/sqngeet preparations...girls were busy rehersing their steps...the elders were busy arranging the required things for the rituals...soon the funcions started girls were singing ,dancing while nandini was busy in giggling and blushing as simmo and her friends were pulling her leg and teasing her...manik was noticing her all the time..its like his eyes were glued to her...

Soon the girls came and dragged him where mehendi was being applied and manik was awarded with shagun ki mehendi and simran started taking "balaiyan"of her children.both manik and mandini took blessings from the eleders...like wise haldi ceremony also took place and bride and groom both were being applied haldi side by side but the only obstrucle was the net curtain .when the younger members were busy in fighting that who will apply haldi first manik was busy stealing glances of nandini through the curtain...and this time nandin also noticed it ...as soon as their eyes met through the curtain sparks flew...

Nandini started blushing profusely...and both looked to the other side being caught by eachother only...while manik was smiling,nandini kept blushing...

Soon the wedding day arrived and ofcourse navya and cabir also came.cabir and his other army friends somehow managed a holiday just for a single day so that they all can attend their friends wedding...

manik tied the nuptile chain in her neck and filled her maang with vermillion...then they took elders blessings...

after that bidaai took place...

Buadadi- beta apna aur manik puttar ka khayal rakhna...apne saas sasur ka khayal rakhna...khush re mera bachha...

Nandini was crying endlessly...manik felt sad but what to do...so he thought of something...he came forward and took buadadis hand in his...

Manik- buadadi...aap bilkul pareshan mat hoyeye...mein aapki bete ka pura khayal rakhunga,usse humesha khush rakhunga,kabhi uske aankhon mein ansoo nahi aane dunga...yeh aapke manik puttar ka wada hai aapse...

Buadadi-jeunda reh puttar! Jeunda reh!rab kare tere sari muradein pure ho...mera aashirwad humesha tumdono ke saath rahega...(caressing his face)

Raj-ji aap chinta na karein...bahu nahi...bete lekar ja rahe hain...

Soon the time came to say goodbye...by now nandini was crying bitterly as from now she was not just nandini but nandini manik malhotra...she had to not just leave her title behind but also leave her house behind...for a bride leaving her parents house is very difficult as she leavs behind not just her her family but also her sweet and happy memories of her childhood...she has to move to a new house...with new people...who are her family from now on...with new environment...new relations...to start her new journey of life...

Manan were sitting inside the car and she was still crying...raj and simran were

travelling in the other car...

In manan car-

Manik saw her still crying and felt very sad for her...he took his hanky and forwarded it to a crying and sniffing nandini...nandu seeing it looked at him

Manik-roote hua tum bilkul bhi acchi nahi lagti...

Nandini took it and was about to wipe her tears with it but she was still crying no asar at all...manik stopped her holding her hand with his ...he took the hanky from her and gentelly wiped her tears...

Manik- nandini...I know ki tumhare liye kitna difficult hoga to leave your family behind and come with me...staying away from your loved ones ...I know how it feels...mein iss baat ko change to nahi karsakta,but I promise ke I will try every possible way to make you momely...mein unki kami toh puri nahi kar sakta...(holdng her hand between his )lekin I will try my best to become your family...plz...don't cry...

Nandini immediately answered...

Nandini-aap ho meri family...aaj aaka naam mujhse juda hai...mujhe ek nayi pehechaan mili hai...isliye aaj se maa-papa aur aap hi meri family ho...

And finally smiles...

Soon they reached maniks home in delhi and grihapravesh took place...then they played a little games ...

Simran-beta tu bahut thak gayi hogi na...ja puttar ja ke aram karle...vaise bhi kal tumdono ki flight hai dopeher ko for deheradun...and han bilkul bhi mat sochna ki tum bahu ho iss ghar ki...

Nandini looks at her a little shocked but then suddenly simran laughs and says...

Simran- arre buddhu...bete ho...samjhe!

Nandini smiles...

Simran- kal sukha jaldi uthne ki koi zarurat nahi ok beta...you need rest ...kitne thak gayi hai dekh...

Nandini- thank you maa...

Simran- chuo!bete bhi bhala maa ko thanks bolti hai...(and hugs her)

After some chitchat manan entered their room...manik closed the door and turns around...nandini is standing there shyly playing with the edge of her pallu with eyes down...as it is their first night together that to in a single room...there was an awkward silence ...manik notices that nandini was getting nervous ...so he decides to break this tension between them...

Manik- ummm...tum change kalo...you must be feeling uneasy in these cloths...

Nandini looks up at him...

Manik- mein yahan room mein change kar leta hun...tum wahan changing area mein change karlo...

She nods and leaves to change...

After sometime manik is standing in the balcony watching the moon...when nandini comes after changing ...she sees him and goes there and stands near him...

Nandini was still nervous...but getting some courage...

Nandini-aa...aap thak gaye honge na...so jaiye...maa ne kaha tha ki kal flight hai toh...

Manik smiles at her innocence and holds her hand and she shivers under his touch...

Manik-nandini...be free to tell me anything...tell me kya infact order me anything...puree haq se ...remember hum husband wife honese pehele friends hain right...so don't be nervous...sab kuch normal hai...so chill...and ya...lets take our relationship slow...step by step...ok...(politely)

Nandini nods smiling to the fullest thinking she is soo lucky that she got a person like him in her life...

Nandini- aap bihut ache hain...(tilting her head to one side a little just like a baby)

Manik smiles...

Manik- chalo lets sleep...

Both of them settle on the bed on one side manik and on other side nandini...

After some time...

Both are still feeling awkward to this new relationship...so both couldnot sleep... manik-so gayi...

Nandini -nahi...aapko kuch chahiye tha...

Manik- nai nai...buss need nahi aarahi thi...isliye...

Nandini- wo..mejhe bhi nahi aarahi...

Manik- toh theek hai phir lets talk...

Both slept facing each other side wise...

Manik- aisa karte hain...tum aapne bare mein kuch bato aur mein apne bare mein kuch bataunga...

Soon they started talking and they kept on talking and talking for hours and at some point both fell asleep due to the tiredness of the journey as well as wedding...

Next morning sun was shining outside birds were chirping...it was almost 9:30 in the morning but still both the newlyweds were sleeping peacefull inside the room...holding eachothers hand ...in sleep unintentionally both came close...both were still in the same position from night i.e facing eachother by sleeping sidewise...and now they were holding eachothers hand...morning rays falls on nandinis face and she stirs a little and opens her eyes only to find one pair of eye looking at her with lots of love and care...then she notices that they were holding hands and immediately starts blushing...manik removes the strands of hair which were falling on her face with his fingers...and she blushes more...their trance was broken with the sudden knock on the door...

Both wake up immediately and nandini runs into the washroom blushing profusely...while leaving behind manik smiling like an idiot...

Siman- arre manik puttar...beta nandini ke saath breakfast karne neeche aaja...

Manik- ji maa aate hain...(he shouts)

Soon they left for the airport after all the necessary rituals there...

IN THE AIRPORT-

Manik along with nandini did all the checking and completed all the security checks and manik was explaining everything to nandini bit by bit...as she was totally new to all this so it was kind of an alien to her...but manik was there for her in every step...each and every detail he explaind to her...

IN THE FLIGHT-

Soon the announcement was made to fasten the seat belts manik did his but nandini was trying to do hers but was not able to as she didn't knoiw how to do it...but before she could even say anything manik himself fastend her seatbelt ...and then smiled at her politely bliknking as if giving assurance that he is there for her...

Moh moh..
Moh moh ke dhaage

hmmm...

she kept looking at him when he noticed that he gestured her what ...she noded as nothing...smileing to herself...

soon the plane was on the runway ready to takeoff...as it was nandinis first flight she was scared to death when the flight was taking of she closed her eyes tightly manik saw this and understood within a sec that she is scared so he held her hand entwining ther fingers with eachother tightly and nandini also held his hand tightly...

Then throughout the flight manik did not let go of the hand even for a second...he didn't let a single chance to fear engulf her...nandini kept looking at him lovingly...though it is an arranged marriage but now watching all these incedents ,after facing all these situations...maybe she has already started falling for him...ya it is difficult to imaging that how can a person start falling for someone...within 2 days of their marriage...sounds impossible but actually it isint so...love is unexpected ...it is unplanned it can happen anytime...anywhere...it has no boundaries...it is eternal...and nandinis case is the perfect example...

During the flight maybe dur to tired ness at a point nandini fell asleep resting her head with the seat but some how she was uncomfortable as in her subcontious state her expressions showed how uncomfortable she was and ofcourse this was definitely not unknown by manik he very slowly and softly placed her head on his shoulder putting his arm around her to make her comfortable

and soon she had a relaxed and soothing expression...the smile on her face was back...manik looked at her and smiled at her cuteness...she looked so cute even while sleeping he thought...
