CHAPTER -32
Manik went away from there to avoid Nandini's anger.
But little did he know that he couldn't escape the situation which he had himself created.
He didn't have any option other than facing Nandini's anger.
Nandini saw that Manik was trying to escape from the situation.
So she followed him to his room.
Manik was pacing to and fro in his room to come up with a suitable answer to Nandini's questions.
Nandini knocked Manik door.
Manik - Come in...
Nandini entered and gave an angry look.
Manik gulped his saliva fearing what Nandini is going to say.
Manik - Arey Nandini tum yahan. Aao na. Aaj achanak se mere room me...
Nandini - Manik... Aapne hamari book Papaji ko kyu dikhayi?
Manik made an innocent face and said- Nandini tum Dad ki help nahi karna chahti thi kya? Didn't you see he was so worried about getting the fashion designer on board for his fashion house?
Aur tumhara talent Agar Dad ke kaam aasake to problem kya hai?
I think I shouldn't have given the book to Dad.
I should have taken your permission before doing it.
Ab tum mujhe apna friend thode hi na maanti ho.
I am sorry. Next time I won't do anything of that sort.
Nandini's anger flew away after hearing such words from Manik.
Nandini - Manik tum galat samajh rahe ho. Aisa nahi Hai.
Manik heaved a sigh of relief that Nandini was not angry anymore.
But he decided to play along.
Manik - Nahi nahi aisa hi hai. Mai kafi dino se dekh raha hoon. You are trying to avoid me.
Aisa kya hogaya Nandini Jo tum is tarah behave kar rahi ho.
Agar mujhse koi galti hogayi ho to batao. Coz I don't want to loose your friendship.
Nandini again went into the flashback of that night.
But she composed herself and said- Manik it's nothing of that sort. Aap se koi galti nahi Hui hai.
Manik came infront of her and held her hand and asked - Then why are you avoiding me...
Nandini - I m sorry Agar tumhe aisa laga ki mai Tumhe avoid kar rahi hu. But I didn't intend to.
Manik got happy hearing this and said- Really ... R u serious. I mean we are still friends right?
Nandini's heart broke hearing the word friend from Manik.
Coz for her Manik had become more than just a friend. But she couldn't express her feelings for him as he had forgotten about that night.
Nandini - Yes. We are friends...
Manik - Correction... You are my bestest friend...
Manik looked at Nandini and smiled. But Nandini's expression was unchanged.
Manik - Nandini Now that everything is ok Ab tum smile karsakti ho.
Nandini smiled lightly.
Manik - Itni kanjusi smile karne me. Not fair. But I have a better way to make your smile wider.
Saying this Manik started to tickle Nandini.
Nandini- Ha ha ha...Manik ye kya kar rahe ho aap. Ha ha ha. Stop it...
But Manik didn't stop.
Nandini lost balance and fell on Manik's bed with Manik on top of her.
Manik was still tickling her and Nandini was laughing.
Both of them realised that they were too close to each other.
This closeness was affecting Nandini.
Suddenly Manik's phone began to ring.
Manik got up from Nandini and received the call.
Nandini too got up and went out of Manik's room.
Manik tried to stop her but she had already left.
Done with another update.
