CHAPTER -20
After a leap of 3 months -
At midnight -
Nandini was lying on her bed with Manik's picture in his hand.
She was crying silently so that no one could hear her cries.
Nandinis face was very pale .
She was just chanting- MANIK... MANIK...
There was a knock on the door.
Person - Nandu darwaza kholo. Mai hu... Navya.
Nandini immediately wiped her tears and said- Navya bas 2 min abhi aayi.
Nandini rushed to the washroom and washed her face so that Navya couldn't find out that she has been crying.
She went and opened the door.
Nandini - Navya tum itni raat ko yahan. Kya baat hai.
Navya- wo dad ne tumhe bulaya hai. Kuch baat karni hai unhe Dadaji ke bare me.
Nandini - Haan Chalo.
Both of them drove to their destination in Navya's car.
(Author note- Navya was staying with Nandini in Malhotra Mansion for the past two years.Reason will be revealed later)
Navya- Nandu tum ro rahi thi na.
Nandini - Nahi to. Mai Kahan ro rahi thi.
Navya- Tum humse Kuch nahi chupa sakti. Tum bhool kyu nahi jaati use. Wo nahi milsakta tumhe.
Nandini - Nahi bhool sakti hu mai Navya. He is my first love. Aur pehla pyar bhool jana itna aasaan nahi hota.
Navya- Nandini tum Pagal hogayi ho.
Teen machine hogaye us baat ko. Agar Dadaji tumhe aise dekhte to kitna bura Lagta unhe.
Nandini - Par Navya tum hi batao mai kya karu.
Navya- Just forget him and move on in life. Wo apni life me Khush hai. To tum kyu suffer karogi.
Nandini got lost in thoughts.
She closed her eyes and took Manik's name as a prayer - MANIK...
In Manik's house-
Manik was sleeping in his room .
Suddenly he woke up with a jerk and said-Nandini, as soon as Nandini called his name.
Manik was sweating. He wiped his sweat and got up from the bed.
He went to the balcony of his room and stood there staring at the sky.
Manik's self thought- Mujhe aisa kyu laga ki Nandini mujhe yaad kar raha hai. Jaise use meri zarurat hai. Pata nahi kaisi hogi wo. Par mai Nandini ke baare me kyu soch raha hu. Wo to mujhse milna bhi nahi chahti.
His thoughts were disturbed by Nisha.
Nisha - Manik tum soye nahi abhi tak. Aur yaha kya kar rahe ho.
Manik - Wo sab chodo Pehle ye batao tum itni raat tak kaha thi. Thank God Maa ghar pe nahi hai.Aur apne baare me nahi to is Bachche ke baare me to socho.
Nisha - Manik please now don't start your lecture again. Mujhe neend aarahi hai. Mai sone jaarahi hu.
Saying this she went away.
Manik sighed and took out his phone to dial Nandini's number.
Then he remembered Navya's words.
Navya had asked him to stay away from Nandini and not to contact her .
Manik threw his phone on the bed and ruffled his hair.
Manik - Why do I feel so helpless?
Nandini please ek baar mujhse baat karlo. I will clear all your misunderstandings. Tum jaisa soch rahi ho waisa Kuch nahi hai. Sirf Vishnu sir jante hai ki sach kya hai. But wo to...
Manik left his sentence incomplete.
In the meantime Nandini and Navya reached their destination.
It was a very big bungalow in the outskirts of the city .
Both Navya and Nandini got down and went inside.
As soon as they entered the house they saw a person sitting on the couch in the hall.
Navya- Dad...
That person got up and turned to face them.
Navya's father- Arey Navya Nandini tum log aagaye. Yahan aao Beta.
Both Navya and Nandini came to him and stood in front of him.
N.Dad- So sorry Beta tum dono ko itni raat gaye yahan bulaya. But ek good news hai tum dono ke liye.
Navya- Good News???
N.Dad- Haan Beta tum log aao mere sath.
Saying this he took both of them to a room and opened the door.
Nandini couldn't believe what she saw. She was extremely happy to see the sight in front of her.
Navya- Nandu ye to...
Navya to her Dad - Dad kya ye sach hai. Or am I dreaming. I mean ye kaise hua. I mean how is it possible... I mean...
N Dad- Haan Beta ye sach hai . Its not a dream. It is actually happening.
Navya - Omg. I still can't believe it. I love you dad for this. You are a genius.
Nandini without paying any attention to them went inside the room and tears welled in her eyes.
Nandini said in a whisper - DADU...

I know it was a small update.
I didn't have time to write a bigger update and as I had promised you all that you will be getting an update today so here it is. Please bear with it . Next time I will try for a bigger one.
