CHAPTER -21
Manik sat in the drivers seat and Nyonika sat in the passenger seat and the Nandini sat with the kids who were sleeping in the back seat .
Cabir , Navya and Manav along with Raj came in another car.
Manik started the car after Padma bid bye to everyone.
Nyonika observed that Manik was silent since the time Aarav-Khushi had asked Padma about taking Nandini with them.
Nyonika kept her hand on his shoulder and asked -
What happened Manik. Everything alright?
Manik nodded his head and said- Yes Mom. All's well.
Nyonika turned to Nandini and found her sleeping by leaning her head to the car window.
A smile crept on Nyonika's face.
Manik adjusted the mirror so that he could see Nandini.
He found her sleeping peacefully with a pout.
He ran his hand over his face and sighed.
He thought to himself -
I was trying to stay away from you Nandini but destiny is not in my favour.
Now we will be staying under the same roof .
You will be before my eyes 24*7.
I don't know how I will be able to keep myself away from you.
Why God? Why did you do this to me?
Why am I getting attracted to her so much?
He again saw Nandini in the mirror.
His thoughts were broken by Nyonika.
Nyonika - Manik where are you lost?
Mai kabse tumhe bula rahi hu.
Manik - Sorry Mom wo bas... Aap kuch bol rahi thi.
Nandini got up with the ringing of the phone.
Nyonika - Wo tumhara phone kabse ring ho raha hai.
Manik - Oh Ok.
Saying this he picked up the call which was from Cabir.
Manik - Haan Cabir bol.
Cabir- Maine uncle ko ghar drop kardiya hai. Do you want me to come there at your place.
Manik - Nai Cabir it's OK. Tum Navya ko lekar ghar jao. Mom hai na mere sath.
Saying this he looked at Nyonika and she blinked her eyes in assurance.
Cabir - Chal theek hai. Mai morning me aata hu. Bye.
Manik - Ok . Bye.
After 15 minutes, they reached home.
Nyonika and Nandini picked both the kids and went inside
Manik parked the car and went inside.
Meanwhile Nyonika and Nandini put the kids on their bed and were about to get up when Nandini realised that Khushi had held her index finger tightly in her sleep.
Nyonika saw this and said- Beta if you don't mind aaj tum yahi sojao bachcho ke sath. Kal mai tumhare liye room ready karwa dungi.
Nandini - Aunty isme mind karne ki baat kya hai. I would love to sleep here with them.
Nyonika blessed her by placing her hand on Nandini's head and went away.
Manik observed all this. He could do anything for his kids. If their happiness lies with Nandini then so be it.
Nyonika came out and saw Manik and said- Wo aaj Nandini yahi soyegi bachcho ke sath.
Manik - Ok Mom. Aap sojayiye. Thank gayi hongi.
Nyonika - Theek hai. Tum bhi jao sojao.
Manik left from there to his room and went to sleep as he was too tired because of the kids birthday party.
