Lol lol I know it sounds scary dats y u changed d channel without wasting a second more only to get back to it after a couple if weeks
True dat initial Epi z were fast paced covering a lot of things however my focus always remained on MaNan... The tension between Manik n Nandini was so well tapped by d creatives especially Manik's part where he was literally battling with himself due to his growing feelings for Nandini... His urge to touch her, kiss her , have her close to him n more often covk blocked by Nandini ..ut was all do cute n was all do well put n executed..
I was never into DhruNi coz i pretty much started watching d show after MaNan happened n den der was no luking back
There were so many small small things that I liked abt d show like when Dhruv proposed Nandini after musicana fiasco she readily clarified that he was just a friend to him...mostly in other shows in similar tracks u would see the lead not opening up n thinking it might hurt him n crap but Nandini made sure Dhruv knew abt her feelings for him outrightly with out giving him any false hopes.
Also Alya z portion was handled well when she actually thought of moving on instead of planning n plotting to break MaNan... That is how we go about in our real lives as well however later on d whole thing was screwed pretty royally.
I liked Harshad being d grey character n also d full negative one but again his character was dimensionless when he came bac after fusion concert...I was so happy wid Abhishek z cum bac not dat he was a great actor or sumthing but I kind of liked Harshad n Manik's tashan but it was a disappointment after his cum back.
MaNan being my fav...I hav an instant smile when I think of des two babies...they r heavenly bliss... Thanx to PaNi for making MaNan so special...I would have almost adored dem had dey not screwed my ship off screen...yet I love dem😳
Hahaha. Manik and Navya. ManVya. NaNik. Ew. I am just glad the makers didn't go that way. Seriously glad.
The main draw for me has always been MaNan. The reason I can keep re-watching this show again and again is those two babies. And I agree about the tension. It was so well tapped, him not being able to keep his hands off of her, her getting into the heat of the moment and then realising she shouldn't cross that line. It was all so well shot. Even the 'But Alya' scene from Diwali. I mean, that was one intense scene and Nandu has to cockblock Manik. I was like WHY!! Bichara Manik, too much self control he had.
I could never get into DhruNi because Utkarsha didn't exude the same charm and command over me as Manik. And you can only feel bad for Dhruv when it would have been a battle of equals, but with Dhruv's acting and MaNan getting all handsy, it was just evident that DhruNi was a lost cause.
And about Nandini's outright rejection of Dhruv, it is just one of the many examples of this show being different. Even towards the end, when MaNan have sex, other shows would have shown the FL to immediately regret it. But here, Nandini not only enjoyed it, she cherished it too!
Alya was crazy in the beginning, in the hiring of the goons :P
But then, she moved on So, I give her that. But her character has always been toyed with by the men in her life, be it Manik, Dhruv or Harshad. I really pitied her at times.
The show didn't have great actors, very frankly. Parth, Niti, Ayaz, Kishwer were stand out in the cast. The rest were average or below. Abhishek was in the second category. Yet when he came back in the FC sequence, I literally whooped because Harshad was a great character, a great antithesis to Manik. This is one show where the characters are bigger than the actors, which I am very glad for.
Haha! So many PaNi shippers on the forum. I used to like PaNi too but the dislike between them was so evident that I just stopped for the sake of MaNan. There is this fan-fiction on Wattpad on PaNi and that's excellent! You should read it, for your shipper heart :P
