Chapter-1
NANDANI POV
I run my hands through my hair while noticing my surrounding.
There are many students buzzing around in a corridor. Some are in tension. Some is having fun. Some are like me, who got the chance to skip the class officially.
Well From today Job Fair is starting for final year student in Pool Campus (Some colleges are invited for placement).
And I am going to volunteer because I am still in my 3rd year of Engineering.
"Hey Nandani what are you doing there. You should be on Helpdesk in less than 5 minutes. "My friend Navya told me as she goes through the list.
She is actually managing it all under teacher supervision.
"Yes Navya I am just going. "I told her lazily as I made my way outside the building.
Well Helpdesk means I am going to help the students who came for placement guiding them about room location where written should be held, any queries related to form or any help they need from me.
Of course our college student don't need it as they are already familiar with our college but other college student who are coming for placement may need our help and here I am to assist them.
So cool right .Note the sarcasm.
I heard that SPACE College 3rd year student are also coming for volunteering.
SPACE College is one of the big, Elite College but of course for the children of Rich People or who want to do anything other than study.
In our college we have that stupid Uniform, of which everyone makes fun. But in my view it doesn't differentiate between the rich and poor. Everyone is treated same in this college and that's what I love about it.
"Excuse me can you tell me where can I copy my documents. "A girl with silky straight hair wearing trouser and shirt ask me.
I don't even know when in my thoughts I reach the helpdesk and get seated. I should seriously stop self talking.
"Yes Please! You can go on reception .There is a service provide for photocopy. You can use it."I answer her with smile.
"Thanks "She returns my smile and made a dash toward the reception area.
Must be in hurry.
Well this is a piece of cake. Right.
MANIK POV
"Hey Dude would you mind to tell me that what the hell we are doing in St.Xavier College? "I asked my friend Cabir frustratingly.
"Well there is Job Fair for final year student and we are here to volunteer."He told me while adjusting his cap.
"And what the eff are you thinkiing before signing my name in this stupid volunteer program? "I fired back at him irritatingly and run my hands through my hair.
Manik Malhotra is not going to be Volunteer in this stupid Job Fair.
"Hey dude chill out. We got the golden opportunity to officially ditch the class and you also get the extra attendance and extra credit for doing this which you actually need it. And think about it you don't have to volunteer at all. Just look around till today session is over."He smirks at me.
Well he is right. It should be fun and top of cherry I get extra credit and attendance for not doing anything at all.
"Ok I get it. Let's move now "I told him as I start walking inside the college campus.
"Hey Dude you should totally checkout this hotty on Helpdesk."Nikhil told me as soon as we enter in the campus.
"Helpdesk? So she must be from St.Xavier College? Right? "I asked him
"Yup she is "Nikhil told me as he drink water from bottle.
"And she must be wearing that stupid uniform of this college."I again asked him with raised eyebrows
"Yes Manik she is wearing uniform but ..."Nikhil replied me but I cut him between
"So care to tell me how the hell you find her hot in Uniform? "I asked him amusedly
I don't know about Nikhil but I can't find girl in uniform hot.
"Well! When you see her, your opinion is going to change Manik." He smirks at me as he made his way toward the other boys for gossiping about the hot girl that he see on Helpdesk.
"For that I have to get a look of her."I told myself and made my way towards the Helpdesk.
NANDANI POV
I drink the water from the water bottle as sweat run from my neck. My shift is going to end in 10 minutes. Thank god or I am going to be roast in this heat.
"Hey" some boy greets me.
I look up and find myself lost in the caramel eyes. He was wearing button up black checked shirt with blue jeans. His sunglasses place on his front pocket and his hair is styled messily. And to complete his look he is wearing white blazer over it.
Who wear blazer in summer? But He is looking ho...I mean good.
Stop checking him out Nandani. When did you start checking boys?
"Hey! How may I help you? "I asked him with smile.
"Well you can help me by telling me your name beautiful? "He answers me in his husky voice.
"Excuse me. "My shock would be understood.
"Oh you're excused but after telling me your name? "He smirks at me.
"If you have query regarding placement then ask me or you can leave. "I answered back in anger.
"Oh baby! No need to get Angry. I just want to know your name "He looked amused.
"Well sorry for you but I don't tell my name to strangers. "I bit back.
Can't he get the clue and leave me freaking alone.
"Well I am Manik Malhotra from SPACE College. Come here for volunteer and you're ..."He asked me with raised eyebrow.
SPACE College! That explains his flirting.
"Good Try! But not going to work on me Malhotra. So you can leave."I told him arrogantly and stood up.
"So we are on last name basis. So can I know your last name? "He tries again.
"Which part of I am not interested' you don't understand?"I asked him loudly and start walking toward cafeteria.
"The no Part."He yelled behind me and I flipped him.
Finally my shift is done.
MANIK POV
I made my way towards the Helpdesk. The sight in front of me took my breath away.
There is this girl behind the helpdesk with her hair tied up in ponytail with some strands of hair coming on her face which she is tucking behind her ear. She is talking with some girl with little smile on her face.
She from no angle look hot like Nikhil was saying but she is beautiful and innocence is radiating from her.
I made my way towards her as the girl she is talking/helping goes away.
"Hey "I greet her.
She looks up at me with her innocent eyes.
First she checked me out and then asks me in her sweet innocent voice with smile, "Hey! How may I help you?"
"Well you can help me by telling me your name beautiful? "I replied to her huskily while checking her out.
In my defense she also checks me out. So it's even.
Her eyes got wide open as she looked at me shockingly "Excuse me"
"Oh you're excused but after telling me your name?" I smirk at her.
Oh God she look so cute in this uniform which I tell you is salwar suit .Seriously from now onwards my opinion about Indian dress is changed. No one can look so cute in it.
She looks at me with fire in her eyes, "If you have query regarding placement then ask me or you can leave."
"Oh baby! No need to get Angry. I just want to know your name "I replied amusedly as her little nose gets red in anger.
Oh god I just want to flick her cute little nose.
"Well sorry for you but I don't tell my name to strangers. "She glared at me.
I smiled at her cute angry pout "Well I am Manik Malhotra from SPACE College. Come here for volunteer and you're ..."

Not going to lose my hope.
"Which part of I am not interested' you don't understand?"She bit back loudly with slight irritation in her voice and start making her way towards the cafeteria.
"The no Part."I yelled behind her and she flipped me.
Well if you ask me how I get to know that she is going to cafeteria then there is big sign place on the building of cafeteria.
Oh I am going to have too much fun in this Job Fair.

"Hey Dude meet this hottie I am telling you about earlier. "Nikhil whisper to me and I turn around.
I look up to see the girl with her face cover with makeup and hair left open. She is wearing trouser and shirt of same color of miss angry dress. She looks hot I should give her that but now my eyes are set on my little kitten who I found cute and feisty.
"Hey I am Soha." She introduces herself while checking me out and biting her lips.
It clearly shows that she is trying to impress me and in normal circumstance I would like that but not now when I have to take care of other things like my kitten.
"I am Manik and nice to meet you but will you excuse me I have some work. "I told her and made a run toward the cafeteria.
My little kitten here I come.
