Part 2
Good morning sir" all greeted Manik as he stepped inside his newly overtaken company but he didn't care to reply anyone.
"Vaibhav" Manik arrogantly called the manager while taking his seat on the chair and he rushed inside his cabin just on one call.
"Ye...yes sir" he stammered.
"I want to meet every employee of the company...arrange a small introduction session just in an hour" he barked.
"Yes sir" he replied and followed his order.
In just half an hour all the employees are ready in the hall.
Manik came when a name caught his attention.
"Where is Nandini?" Vaibhav asked sanjana who was nowhere to be seen.
"Sir she took a leave today, she is not feeling well today" she replied lowering her eyelashes.
"Ok I will introduce her later" vaibhav said and Manik found himself in some past memories.
"Nandini" he whispered
"Vo jinda hai...I knew it my Nandu is alive...she can't leave me...at least now I can apologize her" a faint smile appeared on his face.
"Sir all are waiting" vaibhav broke his trance and he noded.
"Is everyone there?" Manik asked intentionally.
"Si...Sir no..." the manager replied.
"Who is missing?" He asked.
"Sir Nandini...she has taken a leave today" he replied back.
"Arrange the session when all employees will be present" he smirked and again went inside his cabin as girls walked away disappointed cursing Nandini. How they badly wants to have a word with Manik and just due to her, he cancelled this session.
"Vaibhav" he called manager again revolving the globe kept on his table.
"Yes sir" he remarked his presence at once.
"I want biodata of every employee" he ordered just to know about Nandini's whereabouts and vaibhav noded and is about to leave when Manik again added...
"All means all" while his head hung low.
"Now what?" Manik asked angrily.
"Sir sbka biodata hai bas Nandini ka nahi hai" Manager replied admiring the floor.
"Why?" Manik asked curiously.
"Sir her mother in law was colleague with our ex-boss and on her recommendation sir kept Nandini on the job... later on her mother in law left the job due to paralysis, so company don't have any of Nandini's information" he replied and something inside his heart ached knowing she is married. To confirm it he asked,
"Is Nandini married?"
"No sir she is a widow" the manager replied looking in his eyes trying to get the fact why Manik is asking so much about an ordinary employee.
"Osne shadi krli...she forget me...my Nandu forgot me...she moved on...no...my Nandu can't do this...hell no!!!" His heart groaned
"why she can't do this...yes she can do this...you just broke her...broke her beyond repair and now she can't even move on!!!"he mind remarked him as tiny tears started forming in his eyes.
"Leave...(he ordered but very next moment there arised a curiousity to know more about her...how she spend these 5 years without him, how she reached GOa, where is she staying, all these questions forced him to ask more about her) no wait... tell something more about her" he avoided an eye contact.
"Sir do you know her?" Vaibhav asked innocently expecting a genuine answer.
"I need not to tell you... just follow my words" he glared him.
"Sorry sir...Sir Nandini Khurrana..." he was about to continue when Manik whispered...
"Nandini Khurrana"
"Yes sir... Nandini Khurrana, daughter in law of Neha Khurrana, She was working here from last 5 years. She is a nice girl but quite reserved by nature. She doesn't talk much, no one has ever seen her in any party or function of the company. She is working on the post of accountant here" manager completed.
Manik was lost in his own thoughts thinking his Nandini loves to attend parties, loves to celebrate even a small happiness, she was bubbly, and here the manager was telling about a girl which totally contrasted her real character.
"Tell something more like any long holiday she ever took or something else about her" Manik asked politely this time as tears rolled down to his cheeks and he quickly revolved his chair as now his back is facing to him.
"Yes sir, she was on maternal leave for 5 months, some four and a half years back...actually she was pregnant when she joined our company" vaibhav replied.
"Leave" Manik ordered and he left the cabin at once.
"My baby...Nandu gave birth to my baby...whom she gave birth, is it daughter or a son."these thoughts were making him excited to meet his baby, to look at his baby, to hug both his Nandu and his own baby which he denied to accept years back.
"how she survived?maine kyu kia Ye Sab oske saath? Why??"
I'm sorry Nandu... I'm really very sorry" he cursed himself as he broke down completely.

"Mumma I want remote control car" Arjun wished chewing his food.
"No beta...not this month...I already purchased you a new uniform this month...I will buy you car in next month" Nandini replied caressing his hairs.
"Muje chahiye...chahiye...chahiye" Arjun argued and stopped eating.
"Beta mumma can't...aapko bola na next month...promise" Nandini tried to convince him but god knows what happened to him today that he is acting so stubborn.
"Aap kabhi meri koi wish puri nahi krte...class mai Sab new new games, new lunch box, new geometry box leke aate hai aur aap Muje kuch nahi leke dete" he cried and run to his room.
"Arjun...Arjun...listen to me" Nandini shouted banging the door of his room.
Meanwhile Neha came moving her wheelchair to the room and before she could make her understand, Nandini started...
"Maa dekha aapne...kitna jiddi ho gaya...roz roz iski demands badti ja rahi hai...today m not going to spare him...maar khayega aaj mujse" she chipped angrily at her son's growing tantrums day by day.
She is an accountant who earn just 20000 rupees a month and can't afford such expenses which can be avoided.
"Maine hi galti krdi oska admission itne bade school mai krva ke...I will change his school this session" Nandini decided.
"Yaha aa mere pass" Neha holded her hands and made her head lie on her lap.
"Dekh beta Arjun ko bhi normal bacho ki tarah Ye Sab chahiye...oski demand apni jagah galat nahi hai... meri bachi...ose pyaar se samjha...vo samaj jayega" she tried to calm her anger.
"Nahi maa...iska har mahine ka Yahi hai...every month he want something new...mai pyaar se samjha samjha kar thak chuki ho...iske school ki fees kya kam hai jo ab iski nayi farmayishe bhi shuru ho gayi" Nandini chipped frowning and Neha facepalmed herself as to son has to be stubborn when his mom is so stubborn.
"Nanduuu" Neha pouted
"Maaa" she too copy her pout.
And both laughed next moment hugging each other.
