Chapter 10: Mujhe Kuch kehna ha
It was a beautiful and sunny day in Paris and Aliya's flight was in 4 hours. Aliya and nandhini were busy trying out clothes in the curtain dressing rooms of an exquisite boutique and manik was holding the clothes in his hand outside the changing rooms.
"Manik can you hand me the black shirt" nandhini yells from behind the curtain.
"Oh and can I have the yellow skirt" aliya yells as well.
Manik grunts and throws the clothes from over the curtain.
"Ouch batameez you hurt my eye" aliya yells as the skirt lands directly on her face.
"Guys this is so boring! Can we do something fun before Aliya leaves!" Manik complains like a little kid.
"Dude you gonna have fun once I leave. Nandhini just bought some French lingerie!" Aliya giggles and manik raises his eyebrows .
"Aliya! It was going to be a surprise! Thanks jerk!" Nandhini yells in anger.
"Oops sorrryy" she yells back.
Manik smiles with all the girl talk and laughs at them.
Manik has a mischievous idea. He slowly grabs nandhini's dressing room curtain and within a second opens it, barges in and holds her mouth. Nandhini opens her eyes wide in surprise
"Shh" he whispers pointing towards the changing room next door and puts his finger on her lips.
"What the? You scared me!" Nandhini whispers quietly as she pushes him off herself. Manik leaves her and smiles.
Nandhini gestures him to get out.
Manik nods a no and looks at her. She was wearing a skirt with her bra on.
"What do you need to wear now?" He whispers with a smile. She points at a pair of jeans that were hung against the wall.
Manik slowly opens the zip of her skirt and slides it off her. He touches her legs slightly and then grabs the jeans and helps her put them on.
"What next?" He whispers.
She points at a pink top. He grabs it for her and looks at her and helps her put it on. Manik then turns her towards the mirror and they both look at nandhini's outfit and manik gestures a thumbs up.
"You buying this" he whispers in her ear.
"Manik can you hand me a jean jacket?" Aliya yells from her dressing room. Manik rolls his eyes.
"Let's ditch her!" Manik whispers in nandhini's ear and she giggles.
"Nandhini why are you laughing?" Aliya asks as she heard it. Nandhini cringes her teeth and pushes manik out.
Manik finally walks out of nandhini's dressing room.
"Guys come on already. Airport bhi jaana ha abhi" manik yells.
Aliya finally comes out in a short skirt and crop top.
"Kaisa?" She asks manik.
"Not bad!" He says with a smile. Just then a French guy in the store whistles at Aliya and manik turned his head and looked at him. He then grabbed the guys collar and pinned him to the wall. Nandhini came out of her dressing room when she heard all the noise.
"Listen you little piece of shit! That's my best friend and she is engaged with my other best friend! Anyone messes with her, they mess with me! So scram before I kill you" manik yelled and pushed the guy and he ran away.
"Kya huwa?" Nandhini yells seeing manik all angered.
Aliya holds nandhini's shoulder.
"Kuch nahi, let's change and get out of here" aliya says.
At the airport:
"Bye guys! Thank you so much again!" Aliya says and hugs manik and nandhini and goes inside.
They both wave a bye.
"See you in 4 days love!" Nandhini says.
Manik looks at her surprisingly.
"Me love or she love?" he asks.
"Stop being jealous and let's go monster" nandini jokes but manik looks at her in anger and leaves her hand.
"You know what nandhini. If I'm still that monster for you why don't you just leave me?" He says and walks away in anger. Nandhini just stood there in shock. What just happened ?
" woaw woaw manik chill! Mazzaq tha!" She yells and catches up to him and turns him around.
"Sure it was nandhini". He says in anger and calls a cab and they both quietly sit inside.
"Manik promise mazzaq tha! Kya hogaya ha tumhe?" Nandhini says in hindhi so the cab driver wouldn't understand.
"Nandhini mujhe is topic pa baat hi nahi kerni." He says and starts playing a game on his phone to avoid the topic. Nandhini just looks at him with disappointment.
"Fine" she days and crosses her arms.
They both then enter the hotel room. Nandhini sees all the candles and rose petals around the room that she decorated the hotel room with before they left for the airport.
"Did you do this?" Manik asks with a straight face.
"Who else would?" Nandhini says in anger and starts to throw away the petals and blow out the candles.
"But no need for them anymore, and this dress, who needs it either!" Nandhini yells as she pulls out her super sexy dress from her shopping bags. She walks towards the trash bin and throws the dress in it in anger.
Manik rolls his eyes. He felt guilty for ruining their last night in Paris but his ego wasn't letting him say sorry.
"I'm hungry. Want to order room service?" He asks.
"No I'm sleeping" she says and lies down on the bed. Manik looks at the clock and it was only 8:00pm, she was obviously sleeping just to avoid him.
Next morning:
Manik wakes up and turns toward the other side and sees nandhini sleeping peacefully. He smiles and pats her head slowly and because of that nandhini wakes up and stares at him.
"Haath hatao" she says in anger. Manik pulls back his hand from her forehead.
"Nandhini I'm sorry. Mein us waqt gussa hogaya" he says
Nandhini sits up on the bed.
"Oh really? Manik we aren't some teenagers dating anymore we are adults who are married. And we are friends before a couple right. Ek mazzaq ki waja sa we went to sleep with a fight! Abhi humare shaddi KO 2 weeks bhi nahi huwa ha and hum naraz ho ka so raha ha! Kal koi beri beri problems aengi, will we give up on each other?" She asks with disappointment. Manik simply looks at her with a blank expression.
"Woh..." He pauses.
"Woh kya manik?" She asks in anger.
Manik hesitates to say anything and nandhini just raises her eyebrows, waiting for an answer.
"I had a dream, we were on a plane, skydiving ka liya and tum na mera parachute cheen liya phir mujhe bagir parachute ka dhakka dediya neeche." He says and looks away from her.
"But khuwaab tha na" she says.
"Ya but you said ub mera monster banne ka time agaya ha in the dream, isi liya kal mein gussa hogaya tha when you joked about the monster thing. I'm sorry it was stupid" he says depressingly.
Nandhini just looks at him with a blank expression. She then starts giggling loudly and cups his face with her hands.
"Jaan your so cute. Tumhe kissi bhi baat ki tension lene ki zerorat nahi ha okay! Idiot! I love you more than myself. Khud mer jaongi but won't even let a scratch come to you. " She says while giggling and gets off the bed and walks inside the bathroom.
Manik smiles in relief than pulls out his phone from the side drawer and facetimes kabir.
"Yo bro" kabir says while eating a pizza. Manik laughs.
"Tera protein diet ka kya huwa kutte?" Manik asks.
"Hahaha muscles banane ka liya pizza bhi zerori ha bhaai" he jokes.
"Haha. What else is up? Aliya khairiyat sa ponch gae?" Manik asks.
"Ya she texted me when she landed but mukti and dhruv picked her up. So I haven't met her yet" he says as he sits down on a office chair.
"Acha. Abha tu kahan ha?" Manik asks in curiosity.
"Introducing Fab 5's administrative office" kabir says and shows manik the room by moving around the camera.
"Woah all the furniture came in? It looks amazing!" Manik says in excitement.
"Bus tu aja Album launch ka liya yaar. Or woh baby shower bhi ha na in a week." Kabir says and rolls his eyes.
"Haha kya huwa?" Manik asks.
"Kuch nahi yaar, navya's mood swings are driving me nuts!" He says.
"Haha harshad ka bacha ha, pareshan toh kerega na " manik jokes and kabir gives him a serious look.
" your right, but I am going to raise this kid. Us kamina jaisa kabhi nahi banne doonga.
Mukti ki waja sa we forgave him lekin woh koi bahot zyada badla nahi ha" kabir says in anger.
"You are right, you know even mukti is having cold feet" manik says.
"I knew it! I was just thinking how can mukti be 100% okay with this engagement?" Kabir says.
"Kya kera yaar. Dost ki engagement torenge to protect her but her heart will be broken once again. And mukti banti jhansi ki raani ha but she isn't emotionally strong at all!" Manik says in tension.
"Ya She almost killed herself twice! Once when harshad cheated on her for the first time then once when fab 5 broke up." Kabir says in tension.
"Oh hey kabir" nandhini says as she sits besides manik.
"Tum bathroom sa kub nikli?" Manik asks in shock.
"Just now. So kabir how is navya?" Nandhini asks.
"First class yaar. Tum batao yaar hum sub ka jaane ka baad honeymoon mein moon aya?" Kabir asks and winks. Nandhini opens her mouth wide and manik just blushes.
"Shut up kabir! Acha navya sa baat kerwao!" Nandhini says ignoring kabir's teasing.
"I'm at our new studio. Woh ghar pa ha. Directly phone kerlo na mujhe kyew perishan kerahi ho? Let me talk to my buddy naaa" Kabir says jokingly and nandhini rolls her eyes.
"Theek ha theek ha baat kerlo manik sa" nandhini says and pulls her tongue out.
She then picks up her phone from the dresser where she placed it last night.
She checked and had 13 whatsapp messages
All from aaryaman.
She opened the chat and found pictures of him and her from the proposal plan.
Bellow all the pictures aaryaman wrote : best buddies forever
Nandhini felt a little uncomfortable. She always saw aryaaman as a friend , a brother. But since Aliya told her the truth the situation has changed for her. Aryaman is a guy who is crushing on a married woman.
Nandhini takes a deep breath and replies back with a smiley face 😊.
Aaryaman was online so he messages back:
Aryaman: What's up nandhuu? Miss you already yaar!😭
Nandhini texts : itni jaldi miss? Biwi dhoondh lo Bhai. Taa ke hume thora kum miss kerlo 😆
Aaryaman saw the message but did not reply back for a few minutes then he finally replied:
Dulhan dhoondo phir mere liya tum.
Nandhini sighed in releif.
She texted back : theek ha phir mission ddlj start👍🏼
Aaryaman replied: hahaha thanks love ya!❤️
Nandhini stared at that love ya text and started perspiring.
She just couldn't forget about what Aliya told her.
She replied: yaar when I come back I want to talk to you about something alone.
Aryaman replied: ya? All okay? Abhi bata do😲
Nandhini replied: ya don't worry. Just want to sit down and talk face to face.
Aaryaman texted back: okay no problem
Nandhini puts her phone on her lap and thinks for a while. She did not know how she was going to bring up the topic in front of aryaman. She didn't even know if talking to him about it was right. What if the news gets to manik. How would manik react? Should she tell him?
"Nandhini" manik says and nandhini looks up at him and snaps out of her thoughts.
"Ya?" She asks.
"Ek problem ha" manik says and nandhini opens her eyes wide.
"Relax its not that bad. While I was talking to kabir, the company that is producing our album called him. They need Me there for tomorrows meeting. I thought ka problem nahi hoga if I won't be there and will just have to be there for the launch but apparently I have to be at the general body meeting. Lead singer hoon na. We have to leave for India tonight and cancel The Switzerland trip, I'm so sorry" he says and holds her hand.
Nandhini smiles
"Its okay. This was the best honeymoon ever. Thank you. Shaddi khatam or ub honeymoon bhi. Time to go back and start our real life now. Fun is over " she says and hugs him. He hugs her back and smiles.
Nandhini was nervous now, she has to face Aryaman sooner now. She thought she had a week more to think about what to say. Now they will be meeting tomorrow.
At the airport manik and nandhini bid goodbye to the most beautiful and romantic city. They wave bye to the Eiffel tower that was visible from the airport. ( I dont think its actually visible from Paris airport but yeh toh kahani ha na lol)
In India:
Fab 5 and NH3 come to pick up manik and nandhini. They all meet them like they haven't met them in years when in reality they a were partying in Paris together 3 days ago.
"Kal ki meeting ki tyaari ha na sub ki?" Dhruv asks fab 5 and manik and kabir hit him .
"Meeting kal ha. Abhi kyew perishan keraha ha? We are gonna party tonight!" Kabir yells.
"Oh Bhai no party! I am tired okay! If you want everyone can come over to my house but please no partying. Let's just chill tonight!" Manik says as he walks to the car with everyone.
"Lagta ha nandhini na bahot thaka diya isko" mukti jokes and nandhini looks at her in anger.
"For your kind information mukti. Nothing happened even after you guys left okay!" Nandhini says then realizes she shouldn't have said that.
"Kyew all okay?" Harshad asks while laughing.
Manik looks at nandhini with a little bit of anger and nandhini gulps in fear.
"Kuch huwa na huwa who knows? Tum logo KO kyew batae?" Manik jokes and saves the conversation.
"Acha chal choro sub let's get going" Aryaman says and everyone sits in the cars and head to manik's house.
At Manik's house:
Everyone was chilling around the house. Navya and dhruv were watching tv, Kabir and aliya were in the swimming pool, mukti and nandhini were in the kitchen just catching up with life. Manik, harshad and Aryaman were playing blackjack.
"Haan yaar the paris proposal plan was so good, So happy for our little Aliya. Hum sub ko khushi mile na mila woh toh khush ho that is good enough" Mukti says emotionally as she looks at Aliya who was in the pool from the kitchen.
Nandhini raises her eyebrows.
"All okay mukti? Tum bhi khush ho na right? With harshad?" she asks curiously. Mukti fakes a smile.
"Ya i am i guess. why wouldn't i be?" she lies and her eyes get teary.
"Excuse me bathroom sa aati hoon" she says and walks away. Nandhini surprisingly watches her walk away.
She then notices manik harshad and Aaryaman playing with cards.
She pulls out her phone and texts Aaryaman:
Can we talk now? Come meet me in my room. she hesitantly sends the text
Aaryaman replies back : Okay
So sorry guys i know i took forever! I got busy with collage and stuff and i started a new Novel on wattpad so was busy updating that.
Sorry again!
I only have 1 month left for this semester so i will probably update once or twice in april
