Chapter 8:
Ishq in paris
The entire gang was split into 3 and were getting their tasks completed before aliya would reach the resteraunt.
Jewellery store:
Mukti was annoying the shop keeper by looking at every ring she laid eyes on.
"Can you show me that one with the diamond in the middle?" Mukti aks.
"Mukti they all have diamonds and they all look the same! Hurry up!" Manik says in a hurry.
Mukti makes a face.
"They are not the same yaar! Or mujhe yahan kyew bulaya ha? Because I know aliya's choice the best so let me find the perfect ring for her." She says and continues looking around. Manik was getting impatient. Dhruv calms him down.
"Koi baat nahi buddy time ha abhi. " he says.
"Mukti tum aliya ki ring size lae ho na?" Dhruv asks her.
Mukti pulls out a ring from her pocket.
"Yep kal raat I stayed over at aliyas. Uski ek ring chori kerli" she says with a smile.
Manik and dhruv look at her in shock.
"Wapis kerdo GI! Idiots engagement ring ka size ka liya chori ki ha upne liya nahi" multi says and rolls her eyes.
Just then maniks phone rings, it was Nandhini. He picks up immediately.
"Kya huwa biwi ji? Thori der door nahi raha gaya?" He jokes and dhruv heard him and giggled.
Manik smirked and walked away from him.
"Manik choti si problem hogae" nandhini says.
Manik listens carefully.
"Aliya called. She said her flight got delayed and she won't make it to the lunch meeting. I told her my assistant will give a new time. Kya kerain ub?" She asks.
Manik held his head in tension.
"Umm dinner ka time ka bol dete ha. Raat KO the Eiffel tower will be even more beautiful right?" Manik asks.
"Ya lekin our plan is for day light" nandhini says.
"So we can change it according to night light. Ek kaam kerta hoon ring buy kerke I'll message everyone and let's meet at a caf and discuss the new plan. Tum flowers lelo decoration abhi nahi Lena." Manik says.
"Okay as you say. bye love you" nandhini says.
"Love ya!" Manik says and cuts the call.
Manik walks towards dhruv and mukti and tells them what happened.
"Ugh oh well UB?" Mukti asks.
"Let's just buy the ring and meet up with everyone else then" Manik says and mukti and dhruv nod.
After a while they finally made a selection.
The ring was glamorous and classy just like aliya herself.
The shop keeper handed mukti the shopping bag.
Mukti gave it to dhruv and then gave him the ring she stole.
"Yeh lo ek engagement ring or ek stolen ring. Dono dedena upni pagal si aliya KO" mukti jokes and hugs dhruv.
Dhruv pays for the ring and then they head out.
Manik messaged the gang on their WhatsApp group: 'change of plan guys. Aliya is coming raat ko now. Let's meet up at this caf and discuss the new plan. We have time so just drop everything and come'
he sends it.
Cafe:
Everyone meets up and start arguing on what to do and what not to do. Dhruv got fed up and stood up from his chair.
"Shut up everyone! Itna mushkil nahi ha ek proposal plan kerna!
Ring leliya ha or nandhini na flowers.
Navya you take care of the photography, harshard and Kabir you guys go buy lights and decorate the area with it. Aaryaman you handle the music and sound system.
Mukti you plan on getting aliya changed into a nice dress and me and manik will go get a tux for me. I know aliya is the type of girl who wants a fairytale proposal and we will give it to her! I will give it to her! Are you guys in ya beth ka lerte rehna ha?" He asks them in anger. Everyone was dead silent for a while because dhruv never acts like this, he really isn't the bossy type. Manik got haply seeing him have leadership skills for the first time.
Manik stood up and hugged dhruv.
"I'm in!" Manik yells and extends his hand for a group handshake.
Nandhini gets up and puts her hand in then mukti follows her.
Soon the entire gang is in a circle with their hands in the middle.
"1 2 3 mission Aliya!" Dhruv yells and everyone raises their hand and jump in excitement.
Everyone finally separates again and gets back to work.
At night:
Aliya finally reaches the restaurant after hours of trouble at the airport.
She walks into the a fancy yet elegant French restaurant.
"Bonjour Madam puis-je vous aider?" The restaurant host asks her and Aliya just looks at him confusingly.
"Umm do you speak English by any chance?" She asks with a nervous smile.
The host nods his head, "yes, how may I help you? How many seatings for tonight?" He asks.
Aliya feels relieved and smiles.
"I'm actually waiting for Mrs.Andr Linsla, the owner of Cartier boutique. Do you know if she is already here or booked reservations?" Aliya asks.
The host knew she was the one he got paid for.
"Oh so you are Aliya? She sent somebody to give you this" he says and hands her a hand written note and then holds up a dress bag.
Aliya makes a annoyed face and takes the note from him and reads it.
"So sorry Aliya couldn't make it. There was an emergency photo shoot. In fact I need you to be here now! I sent an outfit for you to wear for the photo shoot, don't worry you aren't modeling just need you to be in the appropriate theme for the clients here. The host will gladly give you the outfit. I am sending my personal chauffer ( driver) to pick you up. Just wait outside the restaurant ! See you soon !

"Thanks, where is the bathroom?" Aliya asks the man and he points towards the bathrooms.
After a while Aliya walks out in a gorgeous long skin fitted red dress with a long V neck and a leg cut. She had matching silver jewellery and shoes on.
"Wow madam. I must say you look amazing" the host says with a smile.
"Thanks. This is way too dressy for a photoshoot. Oh well this is the glamour world" she says and walks outside and stands there for a while.
Aliya can see the Eiffel tower from where she was standing. She wanted to view it better so she walked around the small buildings to get a better veiw.
She was standing right next to one of the most beautiful attractions in the world.
The way the monument was light up made her realize how romantic this city was.
"I wish dhruv was here" she thinks to herself.
She continues staring at it and admiring it.
"So beautiful!" She says out loud
"Less than you!" A manly voice calls from.behind her. She knew that voice but she didn't want to jump to conclusions.
She immediately turned around and saw dhruv in a black tux with a red tie.
He was looking really fancy.
"Dhruv? This has to be a joke! Mein soch rahi ho esa!" Aliya says to herself and turns back towards the Eiffel tower.
"Aliya" he says in the sweetest way possible.
Aliya turns back and stares at him without blinking.
He slowly starts walking towards her and as he does the streetlights turn off one by one.
The only light source left was coming from the Eiffel tower it self.
Aliya didn't know what was happening, she just looked around in shock.
Dhruv stopped her and gestured to look up in the sky.
She then saw fireworks emerge
The fireworks were spelling something, she was trying to read it but it wasn't clear yet.
Then she saw it and sat down on the ground in shock.
The sky spelled : "Will you marry me Aliya?"
Dhruv smiled at her reaction and gently lifted her shoulders and made her stand up.
"Dhruv...?" She said but dhruv gestured her to stop talking.
"Don't say anything right now!" He said.
"Aliya I have loved you since the day we first kissed. I loved you every time you would mention a designers name in between every single conversation we had. I loved you when you would freak out on a nail breaking. I loved you when you cried your eyes out when your favorite serial ended. I loved you every day and every night.
We started dating each other with broken hearts and since then life seems complete.
Your breaking up with Manik and me getting rejected by nandhini was a sign from God that better things were going to happen and they did.
We fell I love...
Aliya I don't know what your answer will be but remember one thing
This planet becomes Heaven for me when you are around.
And I want to spend the rest of my life living in this heaven.
Marry me Aliya!" Dhruv says and Aliya starts crying tears of joy.
Dhruv pulls out a ring from his pocket and kneels down to the ground and holds the ring up.
Aliya laughs as she cries, because she knew mukti choose that ring. Mukti knew what Aliya liked.
Then aliya saw mukti, manik, nandhini,navya,kabir, aaryaman and harshad gather behind dhruv .
Aliya just continued crying.

Aliya continued crying then nodded her head.
"Yes, yes dhruv yes" she says and covers her face with her hands and continues crying.
Dhruv smiles and puts the ring on her finger then hugs her tight.
The entire gang hugs both of them and they all start yelling and hooting and then circle around the couple and start singing congratulations.
After things finally calm down everyone heads to that restaurant for dinner.
"I just can't believe you guys lied to me got me to come here for a business trip then everyone else flew here, schemed, planned and plotted this entire huge proposal. Like tum sub pagal ho! " Aliya yelled in happiness.
"We all love you both. And we did this for both of you!" Manik says and gave aliya a side hug
"Phir bhi manik. This is your honeymoon! You and nandhini should be holding hands under the Eiffel tower right now! " Aliya says and looks at nandhini teasingly.
"Aliya. Obviously we enjoyed being alone here and everything. But we missed you guys! Dosto ka bagir maaza nahi araha tha. And manik had a romantic Paris proposal in mind and we asked dhruv and then we did it yaar." Nandhini says to Aliya.
Aliya smiles and and goes and hugs nandhini tight
"I love you. And phir bhi sorry for ruining your honeymoon!" Aliya says and kisses nandhini's cheeek
"Yaar bus kero. Nobody ruined anything! Fab 5 in Paris! Is sa achi koi baat hosakti ha?" Manik yells and everyone starts hooting.
"But seriously dhruv. Aliya ka ankho mein ek bhi tear aya and you are finished!" Harshad says seriously looking at dhruv.
"Tum sa toh zyada hi care karega!" Kabir says and Harshad looks at Kabir in anger.
"Kabir!"Navya yells.
"Enough guys! And navya tum toh pregnancy mein yahan ae. Thanks yaara!" Aliya says.
"Yaar dostoon ka liya kuch bhi. Or Vesa bhi I didn't get a honeymoon. Now I'm getting a babymoon woh bhi in Paris!" Navya says and looks at kabir romantically.
"Babymoon?" Mukti asks.
"Yaa baby hone sa pehle couples go on. Babymoons so they can have a romantic trip before the baby comes and they get busy " navya says.
"I don't know what you are talking about but I am here for the croissants!" Kabir says and everyone laughs.
Navya looks at him in anger and hits his arm.
"Haha but seriously guys. Look at us. 2 married couples ,2 engaged. We are growing up so fast!" Mukti says
"And then there is aaryaman humara single and lonely dost!" Kabir jokes and everyone laughs.
"Mein lonley nahi hoon okay!" Aaryaman says.
"Aaryaman don't lie!" Nandhini jokes
"We need to find him someone nandhini!" Dhruv says and nadhini nods.
"Ager tumhare maathe mein yeh sindoor na hota toh shayad tum aj humari hoti" aaryaman flirts with nandhini and winks at her. She opens her eyes wide and so does manik.
Everyone else starts hooting and gasping .
Nandhini hits aaryaman
"That was seriously not funny!" Nadhini yells then starts laughing with everyone else and manik was still annoyed.
"Sorry yaar. Chill don't worry I won't flirt with your wife during your honeymoon anymore." Aaryaman says to manik.
"Speaking of honeymoon how is the ***?" Kabir asks manik and nandhini straight up and everyone laughs and manik and nandhini just open their mouths in shock.
"Batao na!" Mukti jokes and nandhini looks at her in anger.
"Ankh kya dikha rahi ho, tell us!" Aliya says to nandhini.
"Guys stop being so therki. And let's go" manik says trying to stop the akward questioning.
"But Aj raat hum sub kahan rahenge?" Harshad asks.
"We can just book more rooms at the hotel we are staying at let's go" manik says and stands up.
At the hotel:
"Sorry sir we have no more rooms available" the front desk lady says.
"Not even one room?" Aaryaman asks.
The lady nods a no.
"Is there another hotel nearby?" Mukti asks.
"About 15 miles away." She says
"Can you call us a cab?" Harshad asks.
"Okay sure but the cab will take an hour to get here" the front desk lady says.
Manik looks at the time on his watch and it was already 12 pm.
" Guys this is stupid! The other hotel is so far and its already late! We have one room already. And this is like a group trip. Let's all go to our room and hang out and fall asleep laughing. Just like we did in college!" Manik says.
"But manik seriously its your honeymoon! We cant all just stay in your room!" Mukti says.
"Its fine mukti. Sub mil ka rahenge! It will be fun! Come on manik theek bol raha ha. Its already late!" Nandhini says.
After a while of arguing everyone finally agrees and heads back to manans room.
"Sweeet" kabir says as he sees their luxurious honeymoon room.
"Baap ka kitna paisa kharch keraha ha manik?" Mukti jokes.
"I have my own money too okay!" Manik replies back to her.
"Sure you do honey!" Nandhini says and everyone opens their mouth.
"Biwi na chup keradiya!" Dhruv jokes and manik roles his eyes.
"Okay so how are we dividing this room?" Aaryaman asks as he puts his luggage in a corner.
"Girls on the bed , guys on the floor. Simple!" Manik says.
"Let me call room service and get extra blankets and pillows" nandhini says as she picks up the receiver.
"I still think this is not a good idea. We can all still go to that other hotel!" Aliya says.
"Oh shut up! Everyone on the floor we are playing a game!" Manik says
"Konsa game?" Dhruv asks.
"Let's play truth or dare!" Kabir yells.
"Haan why not?" Mukti says in excitement .
Everyone gathers around in a circle and use a water bottle to spin.
Manik spins first and it lands on harshad and navya.
"Truth or dare harshad?" Navya asks and rolls her eyes.
"Truth" harshad replies
"Do you love this baby thora sa bhi? Koi humdardi ha is baby ka liya?" Navya asks and everyone awkwardly looked at both of them.
"Obviously I love that baby but I don't want to be a parent abhi. Tum bacha rakhna chati ho woh tumhari galti ha" harshad says and that created more awkwardness.
"Galti? Or ek masoom jaan KO marna theek hoga?"navya asks.
"Okay I'm gonna spin now!" Kabir yells trying to change the topic. It lands on kabir and nandhini.
Nandhini closes her eyes, she knew what kabir was going to do.
"Truth or dare nandhu?"kabir asks with a evil smile.
"Truth" nandhini says.
" have you and manik tried o***?" She asks and nandhini opens her eyes in shock.
"I don't have to answer that" she mumbles.
"Yes you do!" Aaryaman yellls.
"No we haven't!" Nandhini lies and manik sighs in relief.
"Jhoot bol rahi ho tum!" kabir yells.
Nandhini opens her eyes wide and blushes.
"Liar! You guys have ! Omg how was it?" Aliya yells.
"Oye hoye manik kya baat ha!" Kabir yells and pats maniks back.
Nandhini hides her face with her hands.
Manik grabbed the bottle and spinned it without saying anything.
It landed on himself and mukti.
"This will be fun!" Manik says and has a evil smile.
"Truth or dare mukti?" Manik asks her.
"Dare!" She says with a mischievous smile.
Manik smiles and thinks for a while.
"Kiss anyone here. Guy girl doesn't matter. Anyone you choose! And that person can not say no!" Manik says and everyone looks at him in shock.
Mukti has a mischievous look and she looks straight at manik.
"I choose you then Mr.daring" she says to manik and he immediately opens his eyes wide.
Nandhini looks towards manik in shock.
"What? Kya hogaya! I'm married! Meri biwi yeh rahi!" Manik yells and starts to shiver.
"I'm engaged , my fianc I also right here! Kya huwa manik ? Ek kiss sa der ga? You have kissed Aliya before! So why is this such a big deal?" Mukti asks.
"No way! Mein ESA nahi hone doongi!" Nandhini yells in anger.
"Fine toh let me kiss you then nandhini" mukti says.
Kabir stands up in excitement.
"If that happens I swear it will be the hottest thing in the world!" Kabir yells in excitement.
"Pagal ho nandhini?" Manik asks her.
"Kyew? I'd rather kiss her than let you kiss her. Vesa bhi I'm straight and so is mukti toh it means nothing. But if you kiss her it means something!" Nandhi says.
Manik was still not buying it and looked at her in anger.
"So who am I kissing?" Mukti jokes.
"Nobody! Chup chap beth jao!" Harshad yells in anger
"Yeh kya horaha ha? We all are in committed relationships, grow up guys! College khatam! Esi cheap herkatein nahi kero!" Aliya says.
"Tu chup ker Aliya! College khatam huwa ha zindagi nahi! We can still have fun and joke around!" Kabir says in excitement.
"Manik you gave me the dare! Tum hi batao who I should kiss!" Mukti says annoyingly.
"Just kiss harshad or whatever" manik says giving up.
Aliya opens her eyes wide.
"Eww I don't want to see this " aliya says and closes her eyes.
Mukti giggles and quickly gives a light peck on harshads lips.
"Kya yaar itna chota sa kiss?" Kabir says in disappointment.
"Is it over?" Aliya asks with her eyes still closed.
"Ya khol le ankhein nandoi ji!" Mukti jokes.
"Okay back to the game!" Aaryaman yells and spins the bottle.
It lands on dhruv and nandhini.
"Truth or dare dhruv?" Nandhini asks.
"Dare" dhruv says innocently.
"Say a poem for Aliya!" Nandhini screams in excitement and everyone else slaps their forehead in disappointment.
"Seriously nandhini? Itna innocent dare? Kuch naughty dare deti" Manik says.
Nandhini squints her eyes
"I'll show you what naughty is tomorrow night " nandhini says boldly and everyone bursts out in laughter
"Daamn my boy gonna get laid!" Kabir yells and hoots.
Manik was bluntly just frozen he was still surprised that nandhini said that in front of everyone.
"Manik!" Aaryaman yells as he continues laughing.
"Huh? Ya?" Manik asks snapping out of his little shock attack.
"Guys poem! Go on dhruv!" Mukti says.
Dhruv smiles and looks over at Aliya and holds her hands.

Toh kya huwa ager tumse pehle yeh nazre thi nandhi per" dhruv says and Aliya and Nandhini opens their eyes wide. Aliya pulls away her hands from him.
"Oye! UB biwi ha yeh meri" manik says in anger.
"Wow dhruv you got guts!" Harshad jokes.
"Bhai! You should be hitting him not laughing with him!" Aliya says in anger.
"Aliya you said yes to him not me. If he screws up its on you!" Harshad says and continues laughing
Aliya rolls her eyes.
"Acha sorry it was a joke! You know I love you!" Dhruv says with a smile.
Aliya finally smiles a little.
"Okay guys pregnant lady is tired! Good night!" Navya says and sleeps on the bed.
"I guess we all should sleep" nandhini says.
Navya, nandhini and Aliya sleep on the bed. Mukti sleeps on the couch and all the guys sleep on the floor with layers of blankets on the floor.
"Good night everyone" manik says and closes the lights.
"Goodnight" everyone says at the same time.
After a while everyone fell asleep and manik couldn't sleep on the floor. He tossed and turned but couldn't sleep.
He turned on his phone and texted nandhini.
'You sleeping up there?' He texted her . nandhini's phone beeped and manik looked towards her. She woke up from the beep and checked her phone.
'You woke me up idiot! Kya ha?' She texts back .
'Sorry sorry. Mujhe neend nahi arahi. Meet me in the bathroom!' He texts back.
Nandhini sits up and looks at him across the dark room.
Manik holds his hands together and begs her.
Nandhini rolls her eyes and gets off the bed and Manik stands up as well and they both tip toe towards the bathroom.
They walk inside and Manik locks the door.
"Kya ha? Everyone is sleeping outside! And I'm sleepy!" Nandhini yells in annoyance.
"Yaar mujhe nend nahi arahi" he says.
"Toh mein kya kero? Mujhe toh soone do!" She whispers in anger and tries to leave but manik stops her.
"Its our honeymoon nandhini! I miss your body!" He says and holds her arms tight.
Nandhini giggles, "all of this , everyone coming to Paris for the proposal, everyone staying in the same hotel, same room! Was all your idea so now you have no right to complain! Oka? Bye" nandhini says and tries to leave again.
Manik pins her to cold tiled bathroom wall.
"Abhi toh hum akele ha na. Or sub soraha ha." Manik winks
Nandhini nods a no.
" No way! Kya ha yaar ek raat ki toh baat ha. Patience my friend! Sabhar ka phal meetha hota ha" she jokes and manik rolls his eyes in frustration.
Manik looks nandhini in the eyes and holds her hands.
"At least kiss me" he says in his sexy husky voice.
Nandhini blushes and then leans closer to him. Their lips meet and they both get lost in the bliss and continue kissing till they run out of breath.
"I love you so much" manik says and grabs her waist and continues kissing her.
Just then somebody knocks on the bathroom door and they both jump.
"Shit" nandhini yells and runs and hides behind the shower curtains.
"Nandhini why are you hiding. We are a married couple not some college kids sneaking from their parents" manik says and pulls her out of the shower.
They both walk towards the door and open it and find aaryaman standing with a sleepy face. He realizes that both nandhini and manik were in the bathroom.
"Oh so you both? In here? Niceee" he says and giggles.
"Shh we weren't doing anything. Kasam sa!" Nandhini whispers.
"I'll believe you" aaryaman says and winks.
"Tumhe bathroom use kerna ha ka nahi?" Manik asks aaryaman and he nods his head.
Manik and nandhini step out and let him go inside.
They both go back to their separate beds and go to sleep
