CHAPTER 3

The only line ringing in my head was "you and Manik have to host the program" . I turned towards manik and he was equally shocked and his expressions turned wild . I can sense his unwillingness to host the program by seeing the expressions on his charming face .

He immediately responded like a reflex action to principal sir. Sir turned his head to face him.

He barked like a dog saying" Sir, how can you think I will host Musicana? I have many other works to worry about. I have a very busy schedule . And for your kind information I have a band which is performing at musicana...you very well know that...and how on the earth u ask me here to host the program.

Principal sir was silently listening to his attitude wala speech . If I was in sir's place I would have decorated his face with slap marks for talking arrogantly.

However I have no other option than being a silent spectator . Principal sir was about to say something but manik cut him off in the middle

Manik: Sir, you know who am I right? So please I am not going to be a part of that crap (hosting) .

Principal sir : oh! Wow manik thank you so much for enlightening me with the new piece of information you just said .

I can guess by the tone of sir's voice that he was being sarcastic and this jerk manik completely deserves it. I seriously don't understand the fluctuations occurring in my mind . Sometimes I tend to praise him and next second curse him and the very next second think of him as my dream guy. Today I am thinking and using my pea size brain a lot unlike other days.

Sir's voice bought me out of my trance

Principal sir : do you think I don't know anything and I am a stupid? Tum soch rahe ho ki mein bina tere mom ki permission ye decision final ki? For your kind information Mr.Malhotra your mother is the one proposed your name to me .

I was having my time seeing confused and weird expression on his face . Soon I started to giggle slowly. I just felt like laughing seeing him like that. I sensed Manik looking at me , I turned my head laterally to see him . Anger was crystal clear on his face. But that did not affect me as he laughed when sir scolded me and this was my time laugh at him.

Tit for tat you say

Sir coughed to grab our attention . he further spoke " you guys are having 13 days and the 14^th day i.e Sunday will be the musicana day . I am leaving all the responsibilities on you both from managing the program to host it and...he finished his talking by saying" nandini you need work more harder than Manik as he must concentrate on music as well".

I was happy as I would not get much time to spend with him and it would make me do my work peacefully ..if he would be beside me na then I would definitely make the world upside down because of the way I behave when he is around me .

I gave a slight smile to sir and turned to face manik. He looked upset , I guess he don't want to host the program along with a girl like me . that thought made me upset. What if my thought is real in the thoughts of Manik . Am I that crazy lady ? .

Manik turned to look at me . he gave me an unpleasant expression which I cant describe . after giving that unpleasant dog like expression to me he left the cabin storming out like a bull .

Well I made up my mind not to think about it. I am studying in space for my damn future and not for him. Why the hell should I bother about his weird zombie expressions. I chucked away my thoughts and bid a good bye to sir and left the cabin.

I realized that I had spent 15 mins in sir's cabin and my friends would be waiting for me . I am excited to share this news to them, as it was the first I am hosting and managing such a big program. But what would their answers be when I tell them that I was going to do it along with Manik. They will surely feel jealous. I laughed at my own thoughts of imagining my friends being jealous of me. I was smiling walking in the corridor...

Before I could register the actions I was pulled to a classroom and pinned to the wall with someone's hand on my mouth. I was pinned hard to the wall that it started to pain at the back of my head. It took me sometime to understand what exactly had happened . I opened my eyes which have been closed automatically.
