"Can I mark you?" He asked me.

I froze at my place. I didn't know what to say. Of course, he is my mate and I will be spending my entire life with him. But was I ready for this? I don't know. The mark will make our bond only stronger. I will always want to feel him around. I will always crave for his touch. My wolf was urging me to say yes but words didn't find their way out of my mouth. My throat became dry. I think I should let him. Yes, I should.

Manik stared at me while I was having an inner battle with my thoughts. He took the wrong meaning of my silence.

"I..um...it's okay. You know, if...if you're not comfortable." He said scratching the back of his neck, making no eye contact with me.

"N..no." I stammered.

"Yeah, I get it. It's...it's okay, you don't have to repeat the answer." He said, sadness crossing over his eyes.

"No, I mean Yes! You can mark me!" I said in a mere whisper but I know he heard it because his eyes widened at my statement.

"Are you serious?" He asked, not believing what he just heard.

"More than I've ever been." I said confidently.

Next thing I know, I was being whisked into his arms. He walked up to our bedroom, carefully laid me on the soft bed and hovered over me. He held me tight and kissed me passionately. I shivered under his touch. I could sense him smirk against my lips. He slowly let my lips when saw that I needed to breathe. He trailed down kisses from my lips to my neck, along my jawline. He kissed me at the junction of my neck and shoulder, making me moan. I think that was the spot. I could feel his canines grazing on my skin, ever so slowly. He nibbled on that spot for a minute before digging his teeth into my skin. At first, I felt immense pain but soon it turned into pleasure. He sunk his teeth deeper, making me scratch his shoulder that I didn't know I was holding onto. He slowly brought them out and licked the spot to erase out any traces of blood. It quickly started healing. He smiled proudly at the mark with a twinkle in his eyes. I didn't have to look at a mirror to see how it was because his eyes said it all. He looked into my eyes with such great intensity that it made me turn crimson. I immediately hugged him to hide my face and he gladly took in one.

I marked her. I finally marked her. I can't believe it! I looked at the mark that was the junction of her and shoulder, where her collar bones began. It looked so beautiful on her, so perfect. I felt so proud, calling her mine. Since I am an Alpha, this mark is huge and once it heals completely, it will look like a Crescent moon. I looked into her eyes, pouring all my love, which made her blush. She quickly hugged me and hid her face in my chest. I tightened my arms around her petite frame, sighing in content. Both me and My wolf were proud to call her Ours. It was probably one of the best things I've ever felt. She slowly broke the hug and sat beside me.

"Thank you for letting me mark you." I said, breaking the silence.

"You don't have to say thanks, you are my mate. My respect for you increased a million times when you asked for my permission." She said. I smiled at her.

"You must be sleepy. Tum so jao, I will take a shower and come." I said to her. She nodded.

I went into the bathroom and took a cold shower to calm down my raging hormones. Both me and my wolf were happy that she finally agreed.

'Stop with the cold shower already.' My wolf said.

'No! Go back to our mate. I want to be close to her.' My wolf said again.

'I just want to stay close to her.' My wolf argued.

'Okay fine. I'm going to talk to her wolf. Goodbye.' My wolf blocked me which made me roll my eyes.

I looked around my bathroom and realised that I had forgotten my clothes for the night in the room. I wrapped my towel around my waist and went out.

Nandini

I couldn't sleep. My wolf was howling and I'm pretty sure she was dancing out of joy. I touched my mark and hissed a little as it was still fresh. It felt amazing on my skin.

'I'm so happy that you finally let him mark us.' My Wolf screamed.

'Oh come on! I know you're just as happy as I am.' She continued. It was true, I was really happy.

'I'm going for now. Manik's wolf is calling me anyway. I'll see ya later! Bye bye.' She screamed once again.

I heard the click of the door and turned around to face a half naked Manik. My eyes shamelessly wandered around his highly attractive chest. There were still water droplets on his chest that were rolling down and disappeared in his towel. His hair was wet and messed up but still looked as perfect as ever! Oh how gorgeous he looked! I thought and found myself drooling at him. That's when I saw him smirk.

"So you think I'm gorgeous?" His smirk grew wider. I looked at him all shocked and embarrassed at the same time.

"You forgot that I can mind link and read your thoughts now. I just marked you." He winked at me. Suddenly I felt even more embarrassed and tightly shut my eyes.

"It's okay to drool over your mate. I know I'm sexy." I heard him chuckle.

I quickly turned around and hid my face in the pillow. A few minutes later, a warm arm made its way around my waist, pulling me to his chest. He gave me a small kiss at the back of my neck.

"Goodnight Baby." I heard him say before I let sleep take over me.

I woke up to rays of sun hitting my face, as though it was purposely aimed at my face. I snuggled my face deeper into the rock hard chest, only to earn a chuckle from him, which made his chest vibrate. I lazily opened my eyes to find a pair of chocolaty brown ones peering into mine.

"Good morning." He smiled widely at me.

"Good morning." I replied, pretty sure that my sleepy voice sounded creepy as hell.

"Rise and Shine, cupcake!" He said cheerfully.

"I have a pack meeting. I'll tell Maddy and Yuvi to come over." He quickly added. I groaned at being babysat again and dropped my head back into the pillow.

After a lot of persuasion from Manik, I finally made it out of bed. I looked at my Mark in the mirror that accompanied the bathroom. It was almost healed and looked like a Crescent moon. It looked perfect on my body. I took a shower and headed downstairs to find the three boys, their backs facing me, gobbling up breakfast like dogs.

'Well, technically they are dogs.' My wolf nudged me in my head.

'You need to work on your humour.' She said which made me roll my eyes.

"Good morning!" I greeted the boys.

"Good morning, Luna." They said together.

"It's Nandini." I corrected them for the nth time. I hated it when these two and my family addressed me in such a formal way. I looked at Manik who raised an eyebrow at me. I can't believe this guy! He gets jealous of two boys who are younger than me! Even after letting him mark me! They are like my brothers, you know, protecting me and stuff. I quietly ignored him and sat down for breakfast.

"I'll be back in the afternoon. You two take care of her." He said to us, getting up from his chair.

"Okay." I replied and waved him goodbye.

"So, what shall we do today?" I asked the boys.

"Video game!" They shouted in unison. Well, If you ask me, I was a gamer too! But, most of my girl-friends thought it was unladylike which forced me to quit it. Unlike other girls who would scrunch up their noses, I loved Video games.

We attached our consoles and started our game.

"Come on! You can do better than that!" I yelled at them when I won, again, for the sixth time in a row. We were screaming our lungs out and laughing.

"What's going on here?" Came a deep voice that I knew too well.

"Video game!" Maddy said casually, his mind still in the game.

"Yeah and I've been beating you two since the time we started." I said proudly.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Manik chuckled.

"Come on, Big Bad Wolfy! The game is waiting!" I said inviting him when Maddy and Yuvi got up to leave.

"Oh, Game on!" He said and sat down next to me.

We played, shouted and laughed, exchanging necessary pecks, until we were dead tired. We called it a day and went to take a nap.
