Chapter - 8
Recap - nandini finally meets fab5 and navya..manik helps nandini..cabir to drive nandini and aryamann to their resort..
Soo here goes next...
Cabir was driving car silently...aryamann was sleeping unconsciously in the backseat of car..
But nandini was stealing glances towards cabir every now and then..and cabir noticed this from corner of his eyes..so he cleared his throat and hesitantly asked her...
" do you want to say something?? "
Nandini widened her eyes but when she realised cabir noticed her stealing glances she felt emberessed..." No.. i dont.."
" ohhk...then r u feeling scared of that i will kidnap you and take you somewhere else and not to resort??? If you are then dont be...i will not kidnap you.." He teased nandini..
Nandini got annoyed listening to this.." I am not scared of anyone..i..i just wanted to.." When she stopped speaking further cabir got to know that she is nervous..so he was enjoying this chat..so he further teased her " you want to..what?? "
Nandini looked at him and hesitantly spoke " thank you for.. Not telling abhi about yesterday "
Cabir smiled at her.. " its ok..you dont have to thank me.. Because i know your brother is really stuck up guy...
But from next time plzz dont scare me with your glares and looks.."
Nandini finally smiled and chuckled at his last sentence.." You know you are just like arya..i am already liking you "
" dekha thats the charm of cabir..no one can resist "and he winked at her..
Nandini chuckled.." Yeah..right..has anyone ever told you that your flirting sucks.." And she raised her eyebrow at him..
Cabir made a face at her " yup.. I have been told" and both burst out in laughter..and nandini finally felt relaxed with cabir..
There was comfortable silence between them for few minutes...but finally it broke by nandini..
" by the way whats up with the abhi and that guy... Manik...i mean they were not behaving like friend..in fact they looked like enemy.."she asked curiously...
" i dont know..i have never asked manik about it...i thought its not that important ..because manik hardly interacts with anyone besides fab 5...
He answered honestly..
" fab 5?? Who?? "Nandini asked in confusion...
" its our band 's name..me, manik, mukti, alya and dhruv..."he said smilingly..
" ohh..you guys are band !! Thats cool.." She was impressed by this information but she didnt show it..
" by the way tum manik ko kabse jante ho?? " she asked nervously..after listening this question..cabir raised his eyebrow teasingly.." I mean you guys are band na to kitne time se you guys are together.." She asked showing indifference.. Cabir smiled at her " we are not only band but also bestfriends..we are childhood buddies..we know eachother from very long time.." He said genuinely..
Nandini just smiled at him..
" and finally we reached.." Cabir anounced..And parked the car..
Nandini and cabir dragged aryamann with them with so much difficulty..
" there is no extra room in this resort" suddenly cabir remembered this..
" what the hell?? tell me you are joking..i am soo tired..i cant do anything more now.." Nandini took her hills off and threw it in some corner and sat tiredly on the couch..
" ok..ek kam karte hai..me , manik and aryamann will share room...you can take manik's room..
Nandini thought some thing and said " three persons in one room will be uncomfortable..ek kam karo..i will share room with arya..lets take him to my room.."
Cabir get shocked by this suggestion.. "Are you sure..you will be comfortable with aryamann??"
Nandini nodded and they took aryamann to manik's room..and made him sleep on the bed..
After half an hour Nandini got out of the washroom after taking long hot shower.. She was looking fresh..she was wearing loose minion tee and payjama..and was looking like a cute doll..her hair was wet and open..suddenly someone knocked on the door of room..
" iss waqt kon ho sakta hai?? " she thought and opened the door..
There was manik outside the room..
" do you want something?? " she askd confusedly..
" woh..yaa..my phone charger is in the room " he was looking distracted..because he was thinking that she is looking soo cute..
Nandini just nodded and gave him way to enter the room..first thing he noticed while entering the room was that..aryamann... sleeping on the bed..and after that he looked at nandini and hesitantly asked.." Are you sure..you will be comfortable with the guy alone in a room?? I mean if you are not comfortable..you can share room with navya..she is alone in her room "
Nandini looked in his eyes..and show that he was concerned for her or rather say he was uncomfortable with the arrangements.. So she smiled softly at him.." Dont worry.. I know him very well..and i trust him enough to share a room with him "
Manik just smiled at her..he took the charger and left..
MANIK'S POV
I am so confused..i dont know what is happening to me...when i saw nandini and that guy in one room..why was i feeling restless...its her life..she can do whatever she wants in her life...i shouldnt be bothered about it..but i am being bothered..why??? This is soo confusing..before i lose my mind..i have to find out about this girl..but how?? She is abhimanyu's sister.. Agar me usse baat bhi karunga to he will kill me..what should i do?? On top of that this stupid cabir is snoring..i cant even sleep peacefully.. I have to take some fresh air...
I came out of my room to get some fresh air..before i can take one more step i bumped into someone..it was nandini..i held her from her waist to break her fall..she had her eyes tightly shut in fear of falling..her face was covered by her hair..she was looking so beautiful and cute at the same time..she opened her eyes..her big dove eyes were staring at me..her eyes ...its magical..whenever i see in her eyes..i feel like i will drawn in her eyes..my trance was broken by her when she tried to stand properly on her own feet..so i straightened both of us..and let go off her..
I tried to break awkward moment
" are you ok?? "
" yaa...i..i..a..m..fine " she was looking nervous..
" do you need anything?? Its late and you are out here..soo..." I asked her hesistantly because i dont want to fight with her..and her mood swings are certainly not helpful...
" i just need some fresh air..i am not sleepy..so i will go out for sometime.."she said honestly..i didnt expect that she will answer honestly...but she did..so i smiled at her.." I am also not sleepy..so i am going to terrace for some fresh air.."
She was looking happy by hearing it..
" if you dont mind..can i join you?? " she was looking expectantly at me..she was looking very cute..so i thought this is the chance..may be i can find out something about her..
" ya..you can join me " and she finally smiled at me..
At the terrace...
Manik and nandini were sitting peacefully on recliner which was placed in the middle of the garden of terrace..there was comfortable silence between them..chilly winter wind was caressing their face..nandini 's black long traces were flying because of wind..
Manik was continuously staring at the stars..but nandini was carefully observing him...after few minutes silence was broken by nandini..
" you like stars !! " it was more like a statement than the question..
Manik was surprised by hearing it from her " yes...i love stars..but how do you know?? "
" it was just a guess..because hum jabse yaha aye hai.. You are just staring at stars.." She said honestly...and asked him curiously..
" Whats so fascinating about stars??"
He sighed.." Everything changes with the time..only stars are constant..they never changes..tum jaha bhi jao..they always will ...be with you.. They dont leave your side.. Thats why i love stars.."
Nandini got sad hearing this..and she said as if she remembered something and her eyes were looking distant..
" i dont agree with you...only one thing is constant in this world and that is...CHANGE... Everything and everyone changes with the time..even STARS also change...i mean their positions.."
Manik observed her expressions..and was looking at her intensely.." I never knew that abhimanyu has a little sister"
" and i never knew that abhi has a friend named manik " she countered back..
He chuckled " FRIEND??..yeah..right.." He said sarcastically..
She laughed at his sarcastic reply..
" By the way whats with you and abhi ??? " she asked curiously..
"I hated him because... i always thought he was cheating on mukti...because i had heard him talking to some princess..and telling her i love you and all that..but apperantly all this while it was you.." He said laughingly..she laughed too but asked him seriously...
" you HATED him?? Now you dont hate him anymore?? "
" no.. I dont have any reason anymore to hate him.." He said genuinely.. " But i cant say same about him...mujhe to ab tak pata nahi chala..why he hates me so much...i mean he always gives me looks as if i have betrayed his sister or am cheating on his sister.." He said laughingly..but when he saw nandini's face he stopped laughing..because she had angry expression on her face..when she heard his last sentence she got angry..after looking at her expression he realised what he said was actuly about her.. " i didnt mean it that way..it was just an example..hope you know what i mean " he tried to explain her..
She gave him blank expression.." No one can betray me.. But if anyone betrays me i will make sure he will regret that whole life..because no one messes with ...NANDINI.." she said staring intensely at him..
Manik stared at her few seconds without saying anything..her eyes were full of anger,hatred and most importantly pain..he can see her eyes held the depth of her soul.. He asked her smilingly.." Rebellious girl?? Or betrayed girl??..whats the story??"
She chuckled and said seriously.." May be wounded lioness hungry for the revenge... How it sounds??"
She looked at him with a sarcastic smile..but he can see her eyes held the anger in it.. So he asked amusedly " wow..that sounds interesting..so who is the target?? "
She again looked at his eyes and small evil smile was playing on her lips..
" You never know... It can be YOU.." while saying last word she poked at his chest with her finger..and they shared intense eyelock..
Precap - Nandini decides to join space academy.. Mukti and alya to bitch about nandini..and nandini will hear it...
