Chapter 44- STARS AT YOUR FEET
She refused to meet his eyes and he smiled at her cuteness. Their breathing was still uneven due to the kiss, and he could feel his heart hammering in his chest rapidly. Seeing the speedy rise and fall of Nandini's chest as well, it wasn't difficult to understand her state either. Holding her chin tenderly between his fingers, he urged her to look at him and when she did he whispered, "Nandini.." It felt good to say her name at this particular moment... somehow there was a certain intimacy to it.
Nandini blushed into beetroot and turned around crashing her back with manik's masculine chest while interwinding their hands and destiny being among the stars not beneath them.
Twenty minutes after takeoff a stewardess approached them, "Ms Murthy, dinner is ready to be served". To which Nandini nodded politely before she left.
"Are you kidnapping me? Nandini what's going on? I thought we were going to date?" asked a confused Manik which suddenly switched to tease mood and twisted Nandini in her arms holding her close, making her face him.
"Oh! Firstly! Are you afraid of being kidnapped?" Said Nandini trailing her finger down his cheek.
"Nah! If you are the kidnapper then i would rather happy get myself kidnapped!" Said Manik in a flirty tone.
"What are your intentions Ms murthy!" Said Manik with smirk as he eyed her finger trailing down his cheek as if trying to seduce him.
"Aha! Don't worry Mr Malhotra! I have every intentions to feed you!" Said Nandini and soon see burst in giggles as she saw manik's smirk getting smudged.
Manik looked over at Nandini , not saying a word and letting him lead the way.
There was a table set up in beautiful white linen, with shining silverware and china, and at the center of it the most beautiful bouquet of red roses.
She turned to the stewardess and said "Maya, we can take it from here. Why don't you check on the rest of the crew?"
"Yes Ms murthy", giving Manik a big smile and wink, walked toward the front of the cabin, closing the curtain divider on the way.
They relished the food served while talking about anything and everything. They talked from manik's usual clumsy London mornings to adulating maroon 5 band. There was a different level if excitement and enthusiasm with lots of curiosity to know ever little big things in each others life thats happened in the missed time trying to catch up for lost time. There was still lot to be talked about between, and lot to be told about and lot to be listened about but right now discussing about the past will be again another time lose. They were back to their crazy self... Teasing taunting blushing at times lots of experiences shared it felt like they never ever got separated. His eyes remained busy admiring the fervour with which she devoured the food... just like his eyes devoured her smiles.
Soon deserts were served and he dint realised he had been watching Nandini nibble on the Starbucks chocolate chip cookie. The way she would eat around the chocolate chips and then take them in her mouth, relishing the melting chocolate... fascinated him. His mind always went into overdrive seeing her expressing pleasure for anything. It made him crave to be the reason for her pleasure someday. Nandini's eyes clashed with his as she stopped midway, eating the cookie. His hand moved involuntarily to pick a tiny crumb from her bottom lip. The feather light touch made her suck in a breath and he reveled in her response. They were so lost in their own sweet world, that Maya had to literally whack them to get their attention though she dint had heart to disturb the love birds.
"Ms Murthy! We will be reaching our destination with in half and hour! Just a reminder!" Said maya politely and walled away.
"Oh! My My! I dint notice how time just flew away with you its almost 3 hours we have been talking! Nice stamina Mr Malhotra! " Said Nandini cheekily and walking towards the private cabinet in there with Manik following her.
"Exactly! We only did talking and secondly i have a lot of stamina for other things too which you are yet to learn!" Said Manik as soon as he kick close the door behind with Nandini blushing at his bold comment.
"Manik! Please do change into something comfortable as we are about to reach... Please don't ask further questions and let surprise remain surprise!" Said Nandini trying hard to keep her face straight with out any red hums on while Manik kept looking at Nandini intently and with out tearing his gaze, His strong manly fingers moved towards his collar and unbuttoned the first two buttons of his shirt, giving her a peak of that bronzed chest. She involuntarily licked her dry lips, her eyes focused on the movements of his hands, completely missing the darkening of his eyes. He then began the task of rolling up his sleeves to his elbows. Nandini did not know much about his workout sessions; however, it wasn't difficult to guess how dedicated he must be at the gym. The strength of his arms was physically visible, and Nandini gulped thinking about what his sinful hands were capable of.
"Get a control over yourself Nandini!What are you thinking?" Nandini's mind screamed still her heart was lost in his own sweet thoughts.
"Did he realise how utterly sexy he looked in that crisp blue shirt stretching across his toned body?" Screamed her heart just to fall out of spell by manik's voice.
"Like what you see!" Said Manik with a smirk which actually made Nandini look at him and seeing his victorious smirk she realised what she was actually doing. And with out saying a word she literally ran inside the washroom to get a grip on her racing heart beats.
Soon they got themselves changed into comfortable casuals. Her eyes widened up as they travelled upwards,taking in the dark blue Levi's ,the plain white T-shirt folded at the bulging muscles and the Ray Bans slung at the neck of the T-shirt. As soon as she realised she was caught red handed shamelessly ogling on him she looked away making Manik smirk.
As soon as the plane pulled down the gates , Manik and Nandini were escorted to the waiting black SUV outside and whisked away.
"Wow! Atleast tell me where are we... Keep the destination and other plans surprise... But at least tell me where i have been deported over night!" Said Manik impatiently.
"Fine! We are in Maldives! Now thats it!! Now no more question... You cute pouty face will make me blur out everything!" Said Nandini with fake annoyance and she looked away. Manik smiled at her cuteness and innocence but decided to put her ideas in use which she just hinted at.
"Please one more question! Please... Pretty please!! Pretty pretty pretty please!!" Said Manik with a cute lip curl and a puppy face making Nandini melt and unwillingly give in.
"Ohky! Ask! But if related to surprise then forget it! Am not answering!" Said Nandini being annoyed on herself for giving in for this.
"How did you arranged all this! Like you know... In such short pan of time!" Asked Manik.
"Oh! You know perks of being sibling!" Said Nandini cheekily.
"O! Arushi! Right!" Said Manik ad soon it striked him that there are still a conversation pending between Arushi and him and made a self note that it would be first thing he will do as soon as he flies back.

"Manik just few moments more... We are about to reach!" With adulterated excitement with hint of concern as it has already been 20 minutes they have been walking or should i say was being lead by Nandini as Manik was blindfolded.
"Oh! I never complained even... Take me anywhere till the Time you are so close to me! I dont even mind play pee-a-boo- with you all my life!" Said Manik enjoying her soft velvety hands in his and her sweet citric fruit fragrance tricking his senses to which Nandini smiled lovingly.
"Ohky! Manik you will feel bit cold... The water is actually freezing... So caution!" Breezed Nandini in his ear with concern evident on her face. Manik hardly paid attention to her words as he was last in her touch.
Nandini firmly gripped his wrists, her palms shaking to sweat,
"Dip your feet slowly, you are going to touch the water."
The weightless plank wobbled a little along with waters but as he held her tenaciously, he took few more steps into the waters with her by his side. As they reached the middle of the waters, Nandini stood behind wrapping his arms around her and lacing her fingers into his ,
"Open your eyes now!" she whispered to the back of his ears.

Words betrayed as they got stuck between his tongue and his lips unable to voice his exhilaration, taking in the breathtaking luminescent glow of the lake lit by millions of stars. He stepped further with a steel grip around Nandini hands.
Its... Its.. Breathtaking!" Mummered Manik still under shock.
"Appa used to tell us about this place and even saw it in pictures but i never imagined it to be serene and beautiful limitlessly!" Said Nandini smiling lovingly while admiring the view.
"Can we touch them!" Asked manik ever so innocently with a happy spark in his eyes.
"Of Course! All yours! Go and have as many star you want... All in your feet tonight" said nandini with happiness shimmering in her smoky beautiful eyes.
"No! Not me! But we!" Said Manik smiling at her lovingly as they gleed in tremendous joy. They kneeled and palmed the waters that illuminated in blue crystals. There was nothing that could stop them that moment from feeling like the prince and princess of the universe. They giggled as nandini teased the waters with her nose, hugged them splaying her cheeks and kissed the near lights while she threw the flying kiss to the farther ones. Manik chuckled at her act.
Manik took a step backward and stood watching her with his arms folded, She looked divine and heavenly, the light emanating from the tiny blue sparkles reflected on her satin skin as she radiated as a mermaid princess. He was so overwhelmed that he could burst with happiness anytime.
That moment screamed pride and jubilant into the endless horizon, that Nandini murthy is the most fortunate lover on earth, for succeeding in painting his dream into reality, his one dream that she locked in her heart, planning for years to make it happen, to make it happen right.
Nandini splashed bit of water on manik and giggled at his expression.Her laughter died down softly as their eyes met in union, communicating what neither realized. Her hazel eyes searched his questioning chocolate brown ones. Manik pulled her towards him making her come crashing against his majestic chest. He was so overwhelmed by the love she showered on him.
"Nandini!" Manik whispered and planted a soft kiss on her forehead making his lips linger there more then usual.
Nandini closed her eyes to savour the effect that the moment had on her. she had to admit she loved the way her entire body reacted with the sound of his voice. It was like some electrical current that only he could ignite. The way her name sounded when he said it was more melodious than the choirs of heaven.
"See we made a perfect harmony with every star and every wave smile at us be it be beneath the the star, among the stars or above the stars. Every thing are gonna witness our harmony!" Said Nandini enterwining her fingers with his.
"I love you!" Manik spoke so lovingly as he had surrendered himself completely to the love of his life, handing her over his heart and soul.
"I love you too!"Nandini whispered Manik stroked her face that sent sensual shivers down her spine. He swiftly moved his thumb over her lips & rubbed away her red gloss & smacked his lips on hers. He moved his lips wildly over hers tasting those luscious curvy lips tantalising her. Her fingers dug in his hair as pulled herself more to him as he deepened the kiss. He bit her lower lips that made her groan in pleasure. His tongue probed inside her mouth in the most erotic manner, fulfilling his fantasies. His tongue found hers & he caressed & stroked it in a way that created a sensual havoc inside her. He explored the sweetness of her mouth with depthless passion knocking her breaths off her by pleasuring her. She salivated when he pulled her lower lip in his mouth. He licked, sucked & nibbled her lips that made her moan limitlessly.
He left her swollen lips to drop wet smooches across her jaw line. He dipped his head in the hollow of her neck & kissed her with fervour. Her nerves felt numb & she was hyperventilating as he continued trailing his lips across her collarbone. She arched backwards as he placed kiss on his forehead back and reseted his forehead against her setting her heart ablaze with his love.

Yoo! How was it? Actually this chapter na it took really long than usual because firstly ,i was so confused that how will. Guy react to such romantic gestures. Cmon! i cant expect Manik to goo all awe and have happy tears at it... Ewww! Its so not Manik! Then i actually thought a guy itself... I asked my friend thats what would have been his reaction... And as usual a pathetic answer "sex on beach!". Then i dropped the plan to even ask anyone.
Secondly, i am not much of a romantic flick of a person toh! Agar bhai logon kachara lage toh bta dena!
And this idea i got in my bio luminous lecture. While professor was telling us the mechanisms i was dreaming about Manan! Ohky i wont lie... It wasnt manan but someone someone. Hehehehe!
Dekho! You all must have known by know thats i have capability to write these ' BEHIND THE UPDATES' thing larger than even update! Hehehe!
And yeah! It was supposed to be Last chapter but kya Karun i don't wanna end it eva... So at least i can split that chapter... I will miss this story really badly and i hope i did justice to all your kaise yeh yaarian memories by this story... If not then watch season one again!!! Heheheheh!
