I leaned my head against the window... cursing the night, Manik, his car and my heels...I looked up and saw another Inspector get into to the Manik's car and Inspector Rathore got into the driver's seat of the squad car... He pulled out onto the road, following the other police officer.
"So this is your first time being arrested, huh?" he said.
"Shut up" I muttered.
"Well... considering I'm an Inspector and you're a car thief... you have no say in what I can and can't do... I can, in fact, talk if I want to" he retorted.
"It's my first arrest" he said giddily. "And I get to arrest a hot girl who stole a car. Does it get any better?"
"Are you flirting with me?" I said in shock.
Obviously...I was not interested in a guy who arrested me for a false accusation.
"Is it working?" he made eye contact with me in the rear view mirror.
"Hell no" I said. "I wouldn't give you a chance if you were the last male on the planet... In fact, I don't think I would even qualify you as a man if I had to categorize you... I'd line you up the the monkeys and feed you bananas."
