Instantly blush crept in her cheeks.Her heart was filled with happiness,peace-after a long time,satisfaction of letting somebody in,gratitude to fate,elated to trust and connected more than words could define.. She instantly replied..
"It's the same with me Manik.I would love to meet again and trust again!!" She replied.
C-Honey...are you home..!? Cabir yelled as he entered. But got what he least expected.
A bang!! Nandini ran to him ad hugged him tight.
N-Thanks bhai.
C-So the moral of the story is...listen to your bhai!! He said lovingly patting her head..
On the other hand Manik's situation was completely different. Oh no! Not with the feelings part.He sat down to play with his tunes..after what seemed like eternity..ofcourse it would for a musician if he leaves his music.
Hours passed like a storm and it was time for the both of them to meet again.This time it was Nandini who messaged the place.It was an authentic Chinese restaurant. Nandini already reached and was standing in the queue when Manik was there.
M-Hey..again you first!! He said as he gestured a handshake and took her in a hug.
'What! Don't be surprised' he said with a chuckle whenhe saw her surprised.
N-Well to say..I was!! she giggled.
Time passed faster and faster when both were together.They moved out after paying the bills..and headed for a drive.
M-So..
N-So..!?
M-Umm...have you..I mean..moved on..!? He asked hesitantly.
N-I am..now!! She said with a smile looking downwards...precisely nowhere.
M-Really... he said as he held out to her.
N-Hmm... she rested her head on his shoulders.
M-I like you! He said almost a whisper as he pecked her forehead.
She raised her head to look upto him and gasped seeing and sensing the intensity of his eyes.
But fortunately or unfortunately their trance was broken with a sudden jerk.Well you ask me what's so fortunate in it...I say their car broke down..in the middle of nowhere.What more did these two wish than the time stopping hmm..
N-What happened.
M-Let me go n check.. he said as he removed his seat belt.. 'but listen..you don't step out ok.It's not safe!!' He said and she nodded.

M-Come.. he said as he opened the door for her. 'I can't figure out what is wrong. Let's hope to find some place before it's too late.Barish bhi aasakti hai
But she didn't budge..
M-Hey..kya hua' he bent to her level. 'Darr lag raha hai!?' he said as if reading her mind.
N-Manik mujhe andhere se bohot darr lagta hai...and dekho yahan street light bhi kitne kam hai..
M-Relax..main hoon na.!! Come..hold my hand...I will never leave it!! He said looking straight into her eyes..
As if complying. Without any 2nd thoughts she did so and they left.
Not for once she left his hand in the past 1 hour..and not for once he moved his eyes from her.
'Manik main thak gayi hoon..Ab aur nai chal sakti' she complained and stopped.
'Oh shitt!!' he suddenly said... 'We're late...humne kisi se kuch kaha bhi nai hai.Cabir would be worried. Wait lemme call him.' and he called Cabir and informed that they might get late and Nandini is safe.
'Kya hua..aise kya dekhrahi ho!!' he said cupping her cheeks.And she...she was standing there looking at him with all the surprise and all those unknown unnamed feelings she held for him.
Nandini's POV-
He cares..so much...of every small thing. Kon karta hai..Unhone bhai tak se baat ki. I have no doubt that so soon I developed feelings for him. I know he won't cheat...he will not break my trust..

'Nandini kya hua..abhi darr lagraha hai kya..!!' He shook her. Bit little did he know that he was gonna be rewarded. Rewarded finally...for having a good heart...a pure soul and honesty! She hugged him tight. To say...just to say..he was shocked.But right now anybody could easily say by looking in his eyes that there was nobody happier than him. He lift her up and twirled her kepping her close to him..so close that heartbeats could be felt.
Love was definitely blooming.Feelings were definitely increasing.Attraction was overpowered by purity...and love.

After a walk of about few minutes..they found an outhouse kind of.But to reach in there they had to cross the caretaker.
M-Bhaiya humari gadi kharab hogayi hai aur ham kabse chal rahe hai...kya hum aaj raat yahan reh sakte hai.Hum kal subha hote hi chale jayenge.
C-Gadi kharab hogayi ya kardi... said the old man.
Nandini just tightened the grip on his hand and he assured her with his smile.
M-Aisa kuch nai hai bhaiya..humari gadi sachme kharab hogayi hai. Hum pichle ek ghante se chal rahe hai aur ye thak gayi hai.Please!
C-Bohot fikar karte ho..Wo toh main tab hi samajh gaya jab tum dono ne ek dusre ka hath pakda.Wo piche ke darwaze se andar jao..aur seedha upar wale balcony wale kamre me jana.Sirf wohi khula hoga abhi.
N-Thank you bhaiya..
She said and he patted her head as if blessing.
M-Nandini..tumne ek baat observe ki..
N-Kya..
M-Wo caretaker..use ek hunch tha...phir bhi he was able to..
N-Able to..!?
M-Able to reach above you head.He pat your head.So... he said tongue in cheek.
N-Manikk!!!
And the Tom&Jerry began.! They ran like maniacs and then finally entered the room they were supposed to.
M-Ok..Ok!!Relax now!! He said within his heavy breaths and held her by her shoulders.
M-U might be tired.Let's get to rest now.
N-Tum kahan ja rahe ho..
M-Sone..
N-Haan par bed wahan hai Manik.
M-U relax and sleep ok..Aaram se.I'll go to the couch.
N-There is no need of it Manik.I trust you.
'Good night!' She kissed his cheek and ran to her side of the bed while he stood there blushing like a teenager.

Mom-Oh come on Cabir..!! Be practical.She is 22 now!
C-That's not called being practical..that's called ridiculous.This...is never going to happen.
