Chapter 7:
*Nandu's POV*
I wake up at 5:30, as usual. Suprsngly, Manik was up and moving as well.
"Hey!" he says, still brushing his teeth.
"Why are you up so early?" I say "Varun and I are going with the O2L boys to roam Cali," he says.
"You sure go roaming aroundCali alot, don't you?" I question him.. "Yeah," he says,
"We might go to the club lateron, wanna join?"
"Dude, I'm the wall flowers at parties, you think I'll voluntarily just go to a club?" the glow on his face dies out.
"Sorry," he says," About yesterday," I cut him off.
"Look, I know things will get awkwrd between us, like it did a few nights ago, it was to kill the awkwrdness, and I just reaaallly like toroller blade," I say, it was out of the blue that I had asked him.
"Oh, I was just gonna say thank you, but ok." He scratched his head in awkwardness.
Welp, it just gotreally awkward.
"Oh!" I change the subject,
"Doyou have a white shirt I can have?"
"Uh, why?" he said.
"I am gonna tie dye it," I say."Uhm, in the third drawer in my organizer," he says.
"Who keeps shirts in an organizer drawer?" I say.
"A guy named Manik Malhotra," he winks, I giggle,
"Welp I got to go,bye" He walks out to door.
(I get the white shirt from his drawer and getto tie dying). It was so long since I did this, I realized why I stopped tie dying them. It takes a forever to do it right.
After I dyed the shirt and let it sit I decided to take a nap.
*Nandu's Dream*
"Hey Babe" I say. Manik was so sweet.
"Hi Nandu!" He smiles and kisses me on the forehead.
"Ready to go?" (We were going to the park for Senior Day),
"I got you something baby" he says.
"That doesn't make me happy, you know that right?" I say as I walk through my parents driveway to his car.
"Well then what makes you happy?" he says, looking as he'd done something wrong.
"You." I smile. He laughs
"Lets go."We arrive to the park, we see Manik's friend, Varun.
"Hey Prom King, come with me," he says.
"Ill eat lunch with you Nandu," mnk says.
"Okay," I say ,I go off to find Navya, I see her under a tree.
"Navyaa!" I say. "Nandu!!" she yells back. I give her hug.We talk until lunch.
"I'm going to meet up with manik byee!" I say as I walk way...
"No PDA," she laughs.
I go off to eat lunch with the love of my life. I search all over the park, i get scared.'
"Manik?" I yell hoping he somewhre, hoping he is okay.
I finally see his back pack near a tree on the farthest side of the park.
I run over, "Mani-' There I see him, laying against a tree kissing that girl.
"Manik..." I run off.
"Nanduu..." he says running after me.
(He catches up with me and pins me against the wall),
"Nandu, I'm so sorry." He moves his face closer to me, attempting to kiss me.
I wipe me tears, "No," I say i push him off.
"Nanduu!!Nanduu"
*End of Dream*
"Nandu"I wake up to see Manik.
He held my face. "The club was being renovated so I came home" he said
"Are you okay?"I feel a tear roll down my red, hot cheek.
He wiped my eyes and put my head to his chest and rubbed my back.
"Are you okay?"he said.
'Memories"I whisper. "I'm sorry, for everything and I know you know I'm sorry, I can't forget either."
"It doesn't bother me," I say, pushing him away from me, I was reliving memories in my dream, memories that I didn't care about anymore,
becz it was the past,
"I just dreamt about it,its fine, I'm just acting a bit moody.
"His phone lights up. "You got a text,"I say.
"Aryman found a new club, you okay here?" he says looking at the text.
"Yeah."
"Ok bye," he said ready to walk out the door.
"Buh-bye!" I say with a sniffle.
"Are you suuure?" he says at the door. "Yes I'm fine." he really didn't need to worry about me so much, he knew I was okay.
I called Navya to come over because he really didn't want me alone, and plus I had nothing better to do...
