Nandini's pov
I was in my room i took bath five times i brushed my teeth almost 16 times than i forget counting them still i am not satisfied with all this i tried to puke but nothing happened
but what about that shadow ghost ?
Meanwhile with kabir and manik

She was trying her best to sleep but sleep didn't came than she heard the sound of walking and the sound of dragging one foot out side the window

Than again a loud knock and sudden the door of window opened with a jerk . This terrified her even more
Surrounding herself with positive thoughts, actions, she came near the window
"Kon hai wha "she said fear was visible in her eyes but there was no one she turned she was about to go near the bed but someone tapped on her shoulder
She again turned other side but there was no one
She was scared
Very scared !
She moved away from there and sudden the vase of her room fall down and broke into piece
She screamed
As if she heard the sounds of dynamite blasting off, and echoing in the mountains ...!!!
Sudden curtains started flying in the air, she heard sounds of laughing and giggling, more noises came from the washroom

Those noise was enough to make her froze on her place
That noise of plain natures had terrified her
Her heart begin to play drums in her body
She was froze in fear as a rock, just the size of a cricket-ball, fell just in front of her. A split-second more or less and her skull would've been split open. That was the next most frightening moment of her life ...!!!!!
Just than a shadow appear in front on her eyes , it came there for only to disappear when she focused on them... !!!!

I heard a tapping sound cut through the silence of the night. I craned my head to see if I could pinpoint where the sound was coming from. Dread began to wash over me as I realized that tapping was coming from the out side from the window . I inched my way over to the window.
I opened it to see the blackness of the depths below.
My ears perked up. There it was again. That hollow tapping sound. The same sound I had heard a while ago . I turned on the lights . The tapping continued as I took the first step. Fear overtook me.
. Though I was in a state of near panic when I ran from the window , I distinctly remember leaving the door open and not turning off the lights. I heard the sound of the hot water clicking in the night. I knew better, but welcomed a logical explanation.
Hearing the hollow sound echo with my footsteps, a cold sweat started to form on me.
Then I heard it. A faintly audible whisper.
At first, I thought it was somebody calling from me but no somebody was laughing and giggling , and their voice scared me . That sound was coming from out side the window ,
As I stood frozen with fear, it began to increase in volume but still remained barely above the threshold of human perception, what was being said incomprehensible to my young ears.
Then it stopped as quickly as it began.
I took my first step to escape this ever growing nightmare, the most profoundly terrifying moment of my life occurred. A loud, hollow bang
Almost knocking me to the ground.
Through tears and shaking me uncontrollably They tried their best to calm me, but nothing they said could ease my mind. I can't tell you how terrified I was,

It is one thing to get pumped up and spring into action in a frightening moment, and then there are situations like these, where you can do absolutely nothing The reality slowly sinks in, and the fear persists and the only source of hope was the invisible almighty. It is said that an atheist has no invisible means of support,
All we could do at that moment was pray - Instantly i started chanting the gayatri mantra. While I took out a small book of verses and hymns given by amms, and I read it in trepidation, without knowing the meaning of what was I reading.

The naked dance of death came in front of my eyes
I discovered how the last wish of the dying was carried out, i need to make sure i am indeed dead before being buried. What of the covers being tucked in tightly all around me up to the neck with my arms to my sides? This is how they set the body before rigor set in to where the body could not be posed for viewing. What about the pillow? Again, this was done in order that the corpse looked as natural as possible. Laying flat in a pine box in the normal state without help to hold the neck forward meant that the jaw would be pushed down towards the chest. Problem solved by setting the body with the pillow just below the neck.
That's the last wish of my life i need pillow under my neck ...!!!
The fear that struck me simply made me respectful of our nature. It made me realize that we are all but a scintilla of the universe. No matter what you do, you cant fight it. You can't do anything about it, and it only makes your resolve, to live a happy and fulfilled life, in the best possible way you can. Who knows, an earthquake might strike this very moment and bury you forever. So what fear taught me was, live life in such a way, that when you face death, you don't have a reason to fear . Recounting the whole episode as only made me think this yet again. As destiny would have it, I needed to learn this. who knows when your life is going to be end if we knows we would've cleared that stretch and would've never encountered it,
But the keyword was my death was in front of my eyes !
Thankfully i all lived, and 20 years , I think I have done pretty well. I have a few regrets, and a lot to achieve, but as long as I am on the right track, I don't think I'll have a reason to fear death again
