Navya knocked at Nandini's room door which was open though. Nandini turned to look at her..

"Aray Di..! Why are you knocking please aaye na..!"Nandini said smilingly and Navya entered the room..

"Happy birthday..!"Navya greeted her as today was Nandini's 21st birthday..

"Thank you so much..!"Nandini hugged Navya and she hugged her back..After they broke the hug Navya cupped her cheek..!

"In 2 saloon main tum aur bhi pyari ho gai ho..! Kehny ko tou tum aur Alya twins ho par aik doore se bilkul alag ho..!"Navya said in a flow and suddenly reality hit her..! "Umm..! Paris main time kaisa guzra?"Navya asked affectionately and changed the topic..

"Yeah..! It was good..!"She smiled faintly.."Di..! Wo..! Man-Manik kesa hai?"Nandini asked hesitantly and Navya sighed..

"Bohat badal gya hai wo..! Bohat ziada..!"Navya replied sadly and Nandini turned her face to hide her emotions..! "Alya nay acha nahi kiya mery bhai ke sath..!"Navya was in tears now..

"Di..! Apni behan Alya ki taraf say main ap ko sorry bolti hoon..!"Nandini said apologeticaly and Navya shook her head..

"Tum q sorry bool rahi ho Nandu..! Tmhri kya galti..! Main apny bhai kay liye bohat preshan hoon..!"Navya said dejectedly..

"Wo theek nahi hai?"Nandini asked worriedly..

"Nahi..! Wo theek nahi hai..! Nandini meri aik baat mano ge??"Navya said holding her hand and Nandini totally guessed what she was going to say?

Manik halted the car in front of Murthy Residence and look around..! He got down of the car and put off his shades..! The house was decorated..! Lots of hustle and bustle..! He was here just because of his Di as he can't disobey her..! He slowly walked passed through the garden and entered inside the Mansion..! Bad memories started haunting him like an evil nightmare and crap..! Wounds were still fresh..! These two years and the time passed in these years never helped him to heal even a single scratch..!

"Mamu..!"Abeer came running and climbed Manik's arms..! Cabir too came followed by Abeer..

"What's up champ..!"Manik asked ruffling Abeer's hair and he smiled cutely.

"Ap ko dekh kar khushi hue salay sahab..! Murthy Uncle will be happy to see you..!"Cabir said patting his shoulder..

"Cabir..! I am here because of Di.!"Manik said coldly..

"Aray mere sher tu aya tou..! That's enough..!"Cabir said smilingly and he just shrugged carelessly..Cabir smiled shaking his head..

"Manik..!"Mr.Murthy called him from back and he turned..He made Abeer stand on the floor and asked him to go and play..Cabir too walked behind Abeer to give Manik some alone time with Mr.Murthy..

"Kesy ho?"Mr.Murthy asked hesitantly..

"Zinda hoon..!"Manik said coldly adjusting his hands in his jeans pocket and Mr.Murthy smiled faintly..

"You have grown more handsome..! These two years..!"He praised Manik and before he could complete..

"Uncle..! I don't wanna talk about THESE TWO YEARS..! I am here because di wanted me to be here..!"Manik's cold expressions were never leaving his face..

"I can understand..!"Mr.Murthy said in a low tone..

"Ap ko koi aur baat karni hai?"Manik asked raising his eyebrow and Mr.Murthy shook his head.."Cool enough"Manik said and walked inside..

"Happy Birthday To you..!"Everyone cheered for Nandini as she cut the cake..! Everyone was clapping for her..greeting her except one..! Manik..! He was sitting on the bar counter gulping down the wine, far away from the whole crowd which was gathered around Nandini..! NANDINI..! Huhhh..! She was definitely very beautiful..! Red sleeveless gown and open hair with light curls at the end were just enhancing her beauty..! But Manik was not at all interested in this..! He just wanted to escape from there somehow..! He look around and walked towards the poolside..! He knew each and every corner of the Murthy residence very well..! How can he forget it..! Haaahhh...! It was late night..! Full moon..! The stars were shining in the clear water of the pool..! He opened his cigarette case although all were same but he chose the BEST of the them and lit up it..He smoked the cigarette slowly looking at the stars..!

"Cigarette smoking is injurious to health..!"He heard Nandini's bubbly voice behind him..

"I haven't asked for lectures..!"He said coldly without bothering to turn even a little..

"I know that Manik Malhotra hate lectures..! But you haven't wished me a happy birthday..! That's so rude of you..!"She was still adamant on her place and a sarcastic laugh escaped Manik's mouth..

"Sahi kehty hain..! Stupid people can never change..!"He said sarcastically..

"What do you mean?"She snapped back..

"Do I look like answering to you MISS MURTHY..!??"He yelled turning towards her and she jumped on her place with the sudden outburst...

"Ok baba..! Don't answer me..! Main tou cake laye the tmhry liye..!"She tried to act cheerful and forward the cake plate to him..

"I don't want to eat..! Jaoa yahan say..!"He said coldly and again turned his back to her..

"Come on Manik..! Don't ruin yourself..! I know jo hua..!"She spoke apologetically and before she could complete her words Manik pinned her with the wall..! The cake plate fell on the floor with a sudden pop and Nandini gasped..

"Shut your bloody mouth..! I don't want sympathies..!"He shouted brutally as his grip on her wrists became so tight..

"Manik..! It's hurting..!"She hissed badly..

"I don't care..!"He barked furiously as his nails dug in her wrists...

"Sahi kehti hain Di..! You have become a monster..!"She shouted once again..

"Yes..! I am monster..! Now shut up..!"He yelled again..

"Why would I?"She shouted.."Don't do this to yourself Manik..!"This time she said a little softly..

"I said SHUT UP..!"He said coldly leaning closer to her face more..

"Manik..! Move on..! Di is very worried for you..!"She again said..

"Tmhy shut up ka matlab nahi pata?"He asked furiously but she was so stubborn..

"Manik..! I know Alya ko bhoolna tmhry liye muskhil hai but at least..!" But Before she could complete her lips were shut by his..! She froze on her place and eyes widened with shock..! Manik forced his lips on hers and she was too much numb to react..! He smooched the blood of her lips and leave teeth mark on her lower lip..! He broke the kiss brutally and Nandini was lifeless..! He pushed her away and she fell on the floor..! Manik bent over her and fisted her hair in his hand..

"Shut your bloody mouth..! These moral lectures don't suit you as I know you too are a s**t just like your sister..!"Manik said in an ice cold tone and left the poolside...

"S**t..!"Nandini whispered in disbelief still sitting on the floor in same position as few lone tears escaped her eyes..! "How can you call me a s**t Manik?"She sobbed and touched her lip..! It was bleeding as few drops stuck with her fingers..

Nandini came back to the hall trying her best to compose herself and she bumped into Cabir..!

"Hay Nandu..!"Cabir said smilingly and Nandini turned away to hide her tears..He held her shoulders and made her turn.."Tum to manik ke liye cake le kar gayi thi naa aur ab ro rahi ho?"Cabir asked raising her chin and she shook her head.."Apny Jiju say chupaoa ge?"He asked sadly and Nandini burst out in tears..Cabir dragged her in a room and made her sit on the bed.."Manik nay kuch bola?"He asked sitting beside her..

"Manik..! Wo bohat badal gya hai Jiju..!"She sobbed badly..

"Ya wo he Manik hai Nandini..! Bus he has created a shell around himself..! In 2 saloon main us nay apny app ko barbaad kar liya hai..! Ya wo he Manik hai jis say tum pyaar krti the..!"Cabir said dejectedly and Nandini's tears know no boundaries..

"Ni Jiju..! Main..! Main Man-Manik say pyaar nahi krti the..! wo to Alya.."Nandini stammered and tried to deny it..

"Don't hide your feelings Nandini..! At least not now..!"Cabir said angrily and Nandini lowered her head.. "Navya and I very well know ki tum Manik ko kitna pasand karti thi ...wo alag baat hai ki tumne kabhi express nahi kiya "

"Jiju..! Us ki ankhain jo har wkt smile krti the..! Un main Itna gusa..! Itne shikyat..! Main kya karoon?"She said crying badly..

"He is reaping what he had sown nandu.Usne Alya ko choose kiya and he is suffering!"Cabir gritted his teeth.

"But jiju I cant see him like this"She spoke between her sobs "I just cant"

"Even we cant see him like this.Uski ye halat ki vajah se Navya aur main USA se yahan shift hue hain.And you know what Nandu...only you can heal him ! Only your love can heal his wounded heart!!"Cabir said patting her head and Nandini look at him with teary eyes..!

So as there is a saying two and two makes four..! Me and Ritika Di bhi usi saying pay concentrate kar rahy hain..!
