@jyothib24: some points I agree. Some I don't. Especially the part that after Maniks return he should solely focus on Nandini. I disagree with that. F5 and Nandini are very important to him. His world centers around them. That said, yes if the lead actors don't get their 'act' together, I am afraid we might never see the chemistry again. Today I couldn't see any.. Which surprised me to no end. @gypsyrose21 if m not mistaken at d end of s1 dint Manik decide to let his friends live their lives on their own...??!!! N d talent hunt being their LAST performance TOGETHER ??!! N no more babysitting... fcourse they are HIS friends but them moving on in their respective lives shouldn't be a problem for Manik nemore...well d performance..wsnt Nandini d manager of this newly built f5..??!! Wch bothered HIM mostly...what should bother HIM after returning is Nandini...this guy couldn't keep his hands off her d same guy ws freezed when Nandini hugged him...so priorities after coming back Nandini should have been HIS priority...

Apart from d little interaction Nandini had with Manik today...she dint have much to DO rather than standing in a corner and CRYING over a hyper Manik...V could see glimpses of Nandini weeping at intervals...when Manik himself seem to concentrate on mukti n dhruv more...just a bit of holding Nandini for seconds when his whole concentration after coming back after 4 months should have been on Nandini...

Expecting logic amidst all the mess created by d cvs with the storyline is utterly foolish but well ppl will watch until n unless they get to see PaNi in one frame...🥱

OMG Jyoti you nailed it!! You said the exact truth. Very good post. People who are cribbing about loss of chemistry, this was to be expected for the stuff that happened last 2 months.

Manik himself was talking to Mukti and Dhruv...more than Nandini. He didn't even hug her back? thats not Manik who would touch and corner Nandini even if was angry with her.

And Nandini hugged him like a party social. Both were out of character. And people are just happy they are in one frame because show cannot run without Manik.

Do go watch all Niti scenes in S2 and realize how well, amazingly she has performed so far..and todays performance fell much flat. Either the director was not present, or the actors were just told to do their thing.

This..Manan meeting after 4 months should have been combustion..even if there was anger in it. It should have been about Manan first. Not Fab5.

Just forcibly getting actors to work in a show they are not really interested and have joined because they were offered few other titbits with channel, its not going to help the storyline or chemistry.They need a very good screenplay writer and director who can help the actors get into the character.

I do hope today was an anomaly and not the norm.

@jyotib24: I completely agree with you with regards to how he should have reacted to Nandini. If u read my posts in the earlier pages on this topic, I feel it was all so put on and cold. There was absolutely no passion...their emotions were way too muted and forced.

The CVs should have first focused on Manan reunion and then F5. Meaning, only Nandini should have been present when she saw Manik for the first time. But with his friends also present there... He was furious with all of them ( again the MU for me is a lil illogical especially after he heard over the radio that they nearly gave up on music and as u said, he was willing to let them go and live their lives) and we saw him dividing his attention between them.

I just wasn't able to connect with the leads today. In fact, can't believe I am saying this, Charlie and Uthkarsh did a fab job. And that's terrible thing! Pani should have shined today...

Not just this, I am having BIG issues with the sets. It's so obvious that Manik's room and that of the other actors are all on the college premises itself. The set design and look is so terrible. If MTv wants to make money out of this show, they need to shell out some as well. They need to have some sort of continuity from previous season (for the look of the show).

And better CVs... Nothing against Karishma.. But maybe she just doesn't get the characters.

Mtv needs to give some TLC to this show else it's shutting shop soon...maybe that's what they are gunning for. Shut shop and come out looking clean and dandy.

Sigh! After watching today's episode, I needed to remind myself why I am watching KY2. Went back to watch few episodes of Season 1 and man oh! Man... What a difference!!!

Niti disappointed hugely today...she's always bang on in the emotional scenes...what happened today? That bland smile, that controlled hug...Nandini is NOT this!! The love of her life returns from the dead and that's all she has??

And honestly, Parth felt a little flat too...Manik could never keep his hands off Nandini EVEN when he was angry or hated her. And today...when she hugged him, it was sooo flat. Not even a flicker of emotion. Yes he is angry...but Nandini is close to him after 4mnths. Whr is the passion in the anger??

Equal blame on the writers and director...were you so busy scripting Manik's rant that you forgot what these two characters mean to each other? ! Hell, Mukti and Dhruv were more believable today...good job by the actors.

I don't know if it's the offscreen drama or whatever that has affected everything...but if this dispassionate reaction thing continues we have a problem.

And before anyone bashes - I am not a Parthian , Nitian Mananian or any other 'ian'. I watch the show for the excellent ensemble cast.

Agree, Can see the show ending soon. The ratings are steadily going down and can't see any body taking the initiative to get back the show on track..

hi i am so sorry but totally i am not agree with you .niti in today episode was very good and emotional the same to parth he is very good .his cold emotional it s normal because he think that his love one move on .the same to niti she can do more than this because she full that her love is cold tower her every think is clear so the problem is not the actors the problem is misunderstanding .we should not give a point tower something in the beginning we have to give them sometime
