Basically he plays the heart conflict for her. She doesn't want to replace him in the band yet she will have to, coz moving on.

Now that makes sense! I didn't watch the epi properly, missed the start and all I got from this scene is that she was in a dilemma about the replacement but she decides to go ahead with the replacement whereas Manik in the mirror didn't look convinced.😆 And the whole set up was so hilarious how does one think with a sane mind😆
So ok basically it was reflecting her own thoughts.. she wasn't convinced with her own explanation but she has to for Feb5's reasons🤔

Yaar ek doubt hai...sirf Nandini ko hi Manik ke bhoot kyon dikhte hai? Nyonika ko kyon nahi dikhte? Nyonika ke dreams main tho Manik smile karte, guitar bajaate nahi aate honge...vampire look main aate honge aur bolte honge "Nyonikaaa...I'm back!" Isliye Nyonika show chodke Big Boss 9 ke andar chali gayi! Udhar sabhi nahi ghus sakte specially when Sallu is standing guard!!😆

I am so over this bhoot crap, can't take it anymore. As per Niti, this will go one for next to next to next week ( I even lost count of how many times she said "next" 😆). So for next two weeks, they will show her hunting for Manik's bhoot 😆
