cabir and manik turn toward the door and see the broken glass of juice lying on the floor and mukti standing. manik got up from the bed and exchanged looks with cabir. she was shocked ..

m=mukti... meri bat sun

she turned around and ran away from there

m=shiittt!! mukti..

manik too runs behind her. everybody who were downstairs suddenly sees mukti was coming down wiping her tears and manik calling out her name and following her. mukti runs to her room and locks it

everyone clear the way and cabir breaks the door kicking it hard. as soon as he kicks on the door manik rushes inside and shouts at mukti who was about to cut her veins. he snatches the knife from her hands and slaps her hard. rest of them standing behind were shocked specially nandini who had never seen manik being so much angry that he slapped his own little sister

there was complete silence in the living room. mukti was sitting on the couch between alya and nandini who were slowly rubbing her back. manik was pacing from here to there... cabir and abhi trying to talk to him but he was in no mood to hear anything

manik and nandini came back to their room from mukti's room. once mukti drifted into sleep manik told abhi to stay back today at malhotra mansion and be with mukti. abhi agreed happily and Manan came back to there room. manik sat on the bed resting his head on the head board and nandini bought his medicines

he took the medicine and again rested his head on the headboard. nandini climbed on the bed beside him and holded his hand. she didnt say anything and rested her head on his shoulder. both remained like this for sometime

manik broke the silence and looked at her. she smiled and kissed his cheek

Flashback

"it all started when we were in college. Harshad saxena, the guy jisse pehli nazar me hi mujhe accha nahi laga tha. arrogant, rude and self obsessed these are the things which describe him. woh humesha Fab5 ko neecha dikhata tha, used to underestimate and make fun of us. koi usse pasand nahi karta tha but there was something which made me suspicious about him even more aur woh tha uska mukti ke sath accha behave karna. hum dono ki kabhi nahi banti thi yeh har koi college me janta tha, we often used to get involve in fights. but mukti ke sath woh humesha acchese behave karta tha, even mukti used to be nice with him. as because it was related to mukti main kabhi kuch nahi karta tha cause i wanted to protect my sister. dheere dheere mukti began to fall for him and that is when i realized i need to expose him infront of her. jo mere maan ka vehem hain woh mujhe sabke samne lana ha with proofs. maine mukti ko warn kiya tha but as because mere pass proof nahi tha she was confused. ek raat he took her out on a date, usne mukti ki drink me kuch mila diya tha and she was not in her sense. but little did he knew ke mukti ne woh drink peeya hi nahi tha and acted of being faint. mauka dektehi woh hum sabko update deti gayi and we reached his farm house. i would have killed that b*****d ...he tried to rape her, uske nashe honeke fayda uthana chahta tha. reason u know what?? ekbar college me sabke samne i slapped him. uska revenge woh meri behen se lena chahta tha, thats why he had mixed drugs in her drink so that badme woh yeh proof karsake that she was not in her sense, jo hua ek mistake thi. thank god hum sahi time pe agaye the.. mukti ne usse sabke samne thappar mara.

this was not only the reason of him being our enemy. harshad ke papa and dad were rivals. dad humesha unse business me age rehte the, mr saxena wanted to defeat dad but unfortunately dad ko pata chal gaya tha unke illegal works ke bareme and so dad ne police ki help se unke sare companies band karwa die the. thats why saxena's wanted to take revenge from us. farm house par jo hua main usse wahi jaan se marna chahta tha but cabir and baki sabne rokh liya. i didnt want mom dad to get know about this so usse chor diya tha.. wahi meri galti thi nandini. kuch din ke bad he kidnapped mukti and uski demand this Main . main waha gaya jahan usne mujhe bulaya tha. woh mukti se zabardasti shadi karne wala tha, usse gun spot me rakkar he wanted me to sign the property papers ke uske naam mane kardiya ha. i agreed to sign them just cause he had his gun point on mukti. but sign karneke bad uska nishana meri taraf agaya. we had a big fight. mr saxena bhi the waha par. isse pehle ke woh mujhe shoot karte mukti samne agayi and she got hurt in her arm. at that time police came and mr saxena encounter me maar gaye. harshad was taken to the jail. jail me janese pehle he said ke woh wapas ayega, he will take mukti with him and mane bhi kaha ke jabtak main zinda hu, mukti ko woh chu nahi sakta "

m=since then mukti was always scared about him but i assured her ke harshad me jail ha. uske baad main london chala gaya. kuch din pehle dad ne bola ke harshad jail se chut gaya ha.. kaise woh nahi pata but he's out. thats why dad asked me to be careful cause we knew woh mujhpar attack zarur karega to take revenge.. and wasa hi hua. mukti aur baki sabse yeh baat isiliye chupaya gaya tha cause uski shadi thi, i didnt want her to be sad and scared.

manik finished the story and nandini hugged him tightly.

she knew he would fulfil his promise like always. she wanted herself to crash into his embrace but being the caring wife she knew how much he needed rest. so without stressing him further she made him lie down on the bed. but manik being manik cant sleep without hugging her close to himself. though she tried to protest but eventually she too knew without being in his arms she cant sleep and so keeping in mind not to hurt him more or put hands on his chest she snuggled close to him and after a heavy tiring day both the love birds drifted into sleep.

The next morning, nandini opened her eyes with a smile on her face. waking up in manik's arms is the best thing for her to begin her day with. she looked up and saw her hubby sleeping peacefully. she pecked his chin and whispered good morning in his ear. he moved a bit which indicated that he was in deep sleep but still he knew it was her. she unwrapped herself from his grip carefully so that he doesnt feel disturbed and goes inside the washroom for freshen up.

nandini came out of the room closing the door behind carefully and came downstairs. she was going inside the kitchen when she saw the back door of the house leading towards the poolside was open.

nandini went to the pool side and saw mukti sitting near the pool, legs dipped inside the water. looking around finding nobody nandini thought mukti needed to talk with someone.

nandini sat beside mukti giving her a cup of coffee. mukti smiled and took the cup

the ever strong nandini became silent. yes mukti striked at the right place. nandini was scared for manik, she was afraid that what if something again happens to him but no, she promised manik she wont be weak, she will support him and mukti

n=isiliye tum kal khudko marne chali thi??? yeh nahi socha ke manik pe kya beetegi?? agar tumhe kuch hojata toa kya manik khudko maaf kar pata?? mukti manik esa insaan ha jo dusrokeliye jeeta ha, humare lie aur hum manik keliye. we all are connected to each other. problems ko handle karneka tareeka unse door bhagna nahi hota ha mukti, unhe face karna parta ha. mujhe iss gharme aye hue kuch din hue ha but itna mane jaana aur samjha ha ke is gharme sabke dilme ek dusrekeliye unconditional love and care ha . thats why um saying, sab theek hoga. tum tension mat lo aur ghabraw mat.

mukti hugged nandini. she needed this hug and yes she was scared of everything

nandini entered the room and saw manik was still sleeping. she smiled and opened the curtains allowing the sun rays fall on his face. manik immediately covered his face with the blanket

n=manik tumhari medicine ka time hogaya ha

he said in a sleepy tone.

n=he bhagwan, manik kab bare hoge tum?? medicine ko lekar itni sari laparwahi

nandini stood infront of him putting her hands on her waist waiting for him to look at her but he was busy sleeping. she removed the blanket from his face and manik turned around to the other side

nandini turned to go but before she could even take a step forward she found herself beneath him, his muscular body hovering over her, his sparkling eyes mischievously staring at her and she cant help herself smiling at him

saying she fused her lips with his for a passionate good morning kiss. his hands travelled from her shoulder to her palms and pinned her hands on the soft mastress. the craving and longing for eachother after that dreadful incident made both of them even more impatient to be with each other. but nandini being the over caring wifey, she knew exactly where would they land up and knowing herself that much she wont be able to stop both herself and him..she broke the kiss with a lot of difficulties. manik was a bit surprised with the sudden back out of hers but he why did she do that

nandini smiled and kissed his cheeks

he raised his eyebrow watching her playing with him. he was about to say something when manik's phone rang. he moved aside letting nandini get up and took the call
