*Flashback to Nandini's wedding*
"The wedding is off!" Madhyam announced.
"Madhyam please don't do this" Nandini pleaded as tears rolled down her cheeks. "I promise that there is nothing going on between me and Manik."
"But at the party last night Manik beautifully described the way you kissed him after some concert." Madhyam sarcastically responded.
"Maddy, I say a lot of nonsense when I'm drunk." Manik intervened, deeply regretting his antics at Maddy's pre-wedding party. He must have told them about their Musicana kiss.
"But drunks also gain the courage to speak the truth."
"Maddy, that happened 3 years ago when we were in college and it didn't even result into a relationship." Nandini tried to explain.
"I wanted to marry you because I thought you were 'pure' but now you're just another s**t." He rudely said, insulting her pride and dignity.
"Which century did you come from? Her past relationships doesn't define her character nor does it concern you." Manik angrily told him. "Hypocrites like you sleep around with so many women and yet expect their wife to be 'untouched'."
"Manik is right." Chachi added. "Nandini beta, let go of Madhyam. You deserve so much better."
"So Manik can have her all to himself, right?" Madhyam laughed.
"You piece of filth!" Manik yelled grabbing his collar. The Malhotra's and Nandini pulled Manik away before his anger escalated.
"I think you and your family better leave now!" Chachi demanded, receiving death glares from each member of Madhyam's family. They left leaving a heartbroken Nandini at the altar...
*End of flashback*
"Nandini, don't stress about the media our team has it sorted." Mrs Malhotra said whilst they were all having dinner. "I want the two of you to focus on moving forward TOGETHER." Manik and Nandini looked at each other awkwardly with no clue as to how they were going to make this relationship work.
"I'm going to rehearsals now" Manik claimed, trying to change the subject.
"Excuse me, you are not going anywhere without Nandini. For the first few days of your marriage, I want you to spend time with each other" Mrs Malhotra ordered. Manik sighed dragging Nandini with him...
