PART - 39 WILL U HELP US...??
Hey people...!! Here I am with another update...!! My exams finally finished...!! And I am free for a week now... so better the response earlier will be the update...!!

Nandini: I LOST MY VOICE...!! I COULDN'T SING...!! I LOST MY MUSIC...!!
Manik: nandini... look here...!! U haven't lost it..!! (But she was still staring nowhere and blabbering the same... so this time he said loudly...) LOOK HERE... U HAVEN'T LOST IT...!! U WILL SING... ARE U UNDERSTANDING...!! PLEASE... DON'T CRY... I AM THERE... I WON'T LET U LOOSE IT...!! I AM THERE FOR U...!! (He said while cupping her face in his palms... to make her look straight into his eyes...!! And she stared at him blankly...)
Manik: yes nandini... u haven't lost your music...!! I won't let u loose it...!! Please don't loose ur hope...!!
( she was crying...!! And crying...!!)
Nandini: what if I won't be able to sing...??
Manik: u will...!! I promise...!!

After lot of efforts... finally manik was able to calm her down...!! He brought her downstairs...!! And told her to sleep...!! As she woke up early...!! And after making her sleep and kissing her forehead... he left her room...!! And came down as sat on the sofa... leaning his head back... and closed his eyes...!!
All this while he had been acting all strong in front of her... but he himself was really worried for her... as he himself being a singer... got a little bit of idea... after seeing her singing...!! That there is definitely some problem...!! He was tensed for her... as after so much of struggle she has reached till the stage where she herself wants to be cured...!! But her fate again ditched her...!! Everything was going perfect but then suddenly... this happened... and again a fear of loosing nandini came to his mind...!!
Manik was thinking all the possible things...!! And consequences... but all he could think of was... if she will not be able to sing then... she might again slip in that darkness... and this time no one can bring her back... because this time she tried and then failed...!! And as her possible condition came in his mind...!! He got up with a jerk...!!
Manik: No... I won't let her go back... after coming this far...!! She will sing...!! I can't loose her again...!! This time I won't let the fate decide for us...!! I won't...!! I need her...!!
(Manik was getting restless...!! He was not able to think of any solution... then he thought of calling abhi... so he in a blink dialled his no. Without thinking that it's just 6 am in the morning...)
As abhi's phone rang... his sleep broke... and seeing the screen displaying manik's no. He got tensed about nandini... because it was too early for manik to call him...!! So he just picked the call...!!
Manik: just come here as soon as possible...!!
Abhi: manik what happened... is nandini alright...?? Are u ok...??
Manik: No... nothings right...!! We need to see a doctor...!! U come here I will explain u everything...!!
Abhi: ok...!! I will just come... do u need others also to come...?? As it's 6 only...!!
(That's when manik realised it's too early...)
Manik: sorry... I called without seeing the time... but I really got tensed... isilye I called...!! U come afterwards... right now even nandini is sleeping...!! U come later I will explain u everything...!! Don't get too worked up...!!
Abhi: no... there must be something really big... that u called at this time...!! Don't worry I am coming...!! U just calm down ok...!!
With this they ended the conversation... and abhi left for nandini's house... leaving a msg on the group...So that all of them don't get tensed for him...!!

Nandini's place-
Morning 6.30 am-
Abhi came in... and then he asked manik as what happened...!! To which told him everything... about the morning incident...!! Even abhi became tensed...!!
Abhi: manik as u are saying...!! Then we really need to see a doctor... for this... today itself...!! I will just contact the best ENT specialist... and fix the appointment for today itself...!! Then we can get exact answers... to all our worries...!!
Manik: I just hope everything goes well...!!
Time passed...
8 am-
All reached at nandini's place...!! And got to know everything...!! All of them were tensed for her...!!
But they cannot spoil her daily routine...!! So starting up with... Mukti woke nandini up... then all girls left for a walk in the park...!! They even did yoga in the park... as nowadays days nandini agreed easily to go out of the house...!! So aliya shifted her yoga session there... in the natural environment...!!
Today... was a different day... then the days since last week... as today nandini was sad... she wasn't smiling she wasn't talking... nd was lost somewhere...!!
But then exercise and walk helped her... to calm down...!! There she was exercising... and here at her place they got the doctor's no. And then got his appoint mentioned which was at 11am...
Time went away... in her daily exercises... then breakfast...!! And then she got to know that they are visiting a doctor...!! She did not opposed because... she also wanted to know what has happened...??
At 11 am-
Abhi manik and alya came along with nandini... while others left for their works... half hearted...!!
In the doctor's cabin-
As they came... they explained the doctor about her problem and then doctor suggested for an ultrasound of her throat...!! And hence took her for that!! After about 20 mins. He came back along with her reports...!! While she stayed there to clean her throat... as the liquid was spread there... for the sonography...!!
Doctor sat on his chair and then said...
Doctor: See I examined her throat...!! I wanted to ask has she been consuming alcohol...!!
Abhi: yes doctor...!! She had been consuming alcohol... here are her previous reports...!!
( Doctor went through her previous reports...!!)
Doctor: so this is the matter...!! She has been consuming alcohol as well as drugs... that's why her vocal cords are damaged...!!
Manik: what do u mean by damaged...!!
Doctor: See here...!! (He said while showing her present reports...) can u see this... here... because of excess of alcohol... and drugs... her vocal cords have dried...!! Which is making it difficult for her to sing...!!
Manik: so will she be able to sing...??
Doctor: No... seeing her reports I don't think so she might be able to sing for now...!!
(As he said this... everyone's worry increased...!! Manik thought about the morning incident where he promised her that she will be able to sing...!! He was tensed for her...!! Words froze in his throat...!!
But there was one more person who froze there and then...!! After listening to the doctor...!! And that person was nandini herself...!! As she came back... after washing... her mind went blank she couldn't hear what the others were saying further...!! She just left from there blankly walked out the hospital...!!)
Abhi: but... doc... there might be some cure... some treatment to this...!! As with lots of difficulties she has come out of her depression... and music has really helped her...!!
Doctor: I understand...!! But there is no as such treatment for this...!! And she is already taking a lot of medicines which are necessary for her...!! So we can't even give her medicines...!! But yes... there are special exercises... diets which might help her to rebuild her ability to sing...!! But it will take time...!!
Manik: how much time...??
Doctor: if... she readily do it... then it might take a month or 2...!!
Abhi: what kind of exercises... and diet needs to be followed...!!
Doctor: Seeing her condition I would suggest to start with the very basics...!! Like make her drink a lot of water... give her honey... as it will provide lubrication... and dryness will be decreased...!! Then.. make practice singing at lowest notes... for few minutes daily...!! Include... healthy food to her diet...!!
Aliya: and for the exercises...!!
Doctor: exercises... u begin with the walk... at first... then go with the jogging...!! It will increase her stamina...!! More outdoor activities... will also help...!! Then some special throat exercises are there...!! ( Doctor explained the exercises... in detail...) this will help her to gain her voice holding power...!! To sing at higher pitch...!!
Alya: doc. She has already been going for morning walks... and yoga sessions...!!
Doctor: then this is really nice...!! If she is already going... so from now on... just make her jog...!! As she really needs stamina... and include the exercises in her yoga...!!
Manik: then she will be able to sing naa...??
Doctor: See... it totally depends on her...!! She needs to cooperate... and take care of herself... and most importantly... she needs to think positive...!! If she wants... only then she can be cured...!!
With a little more discussion they thought to leave...!! But then they noticed nandini didn't returned back...!! So they went and checked for her but... didn't found her in the whole hospital...!! They became tensed...!! So... they just spread themselves and started searching for her...!! Aliya went to check inside the hospital... Abhi went to the terrace of hospital...!! And manik went to the outer premises of the hospital...!!
All of them kept seaching for her...!! But couldn't find her... they were really tensed...!! Abhi and aliya came out and met manik...!!
Alya: where did she go...??
Abhi: kahi usne sab sunn toh nai liya...??
Manik was all the time just looking here and there... searching her...!! He was scared for her...!! And listening to abhi... he got all the more tensed... thinking... what if she heard it all...?? And took everything negatively...!!
Looking her and there he... spotted someone Sitting far on a bench... in the hospital garden...!!

As nandini came out of the hospital building...!! She was blankly walking and doctor's words were echoing in her mind...!! She didn't knew where she was going... and she just reached in the garden... and sat on the bench...!!
She was shattered... thinking she won't be able to sing..!!! Again she lost the thing which was giving her... her long lost peace and happiness...!! Unknowingly tears formed in her eyes...!! Thinking... that she doesn't deserve any happiness...!!

As he reached there near her... he took a sigh of relief...!! Following him even alya and abhi reached there... but then manik assured them that he will handle...!! After being sure abhi and alya left them alone...!! They thought to wait for them in the car...!! And then sat in the car... but as they sat... abhi got a call from dhruv...
Dhruv: abhi... what did doctor say...?? Is everything OK...?? When are u coming...??
Abhi: I ll tell u once we reach... we will come in an hour or so...!!
Dhruv: u sound low...!! Where is buddy... ?? Give him the phone...!!
Abhi: he is with nandini right now...!! (Then abhi explained him... what happened how nandini went missing and then they found her... )
Dhruv: do one thing... u both come back...!! We have a great news over here...!! Let buddy bring nandini...!! I know he will handle her...!!
Abhi: great news...?? Fine then we are coming... by cab...!!
With this abhi and alya left the hospital... dropping a msg to manik that they both are going back...!!

In the garden-
As manik reached near her... she was sitting facing her back...!! Manik stopped just behind her... and kept his hand on her shoulder...!! As he didn't got any response on calling her name...!!
Manik: Nandini... tum yaha kya kar rai ho...?? We were so tensed... for u...!!
Nandini: why does it happen... always with me only...?? (She spoke blankly...)
(Manik came and sat in front of her on his knees... and noticed her tears...!!)
Manik: what are u saying...?? What happened...?? And why are u crying...?? (Though manik got an idea somewhere that she might have heard everything... but still to confirm he asked...)
Nandini: I lost... I told u all... it's all waste...!! All the efforts were a waste...!! I am not the one who deserves happiness...!! Isilye hamesha... whenever I think all will get well...!! Reality hits me... harder...!! (She was crying... by now...!! ) I don't deserve... anything... except pain...!!
Manik: kya... bole jaa rai ho nandini...!! U deserve every bit of happiness...!! U are the one who is made for happiness...!! Nothing has gone waste...!! Didn't u noticed the change in urself...?? Haan... how u started talking...!! Being happy...!! Playing music...!! (He said all this by looking in her eyes... holding her face in his hands... and wiping her tears with his thumb...)
Nandini: kya fayeda...!! I can't sing... now...!! I will never be able to sing...!!
Manik: who said u will never be able to sing...!! Off course u can sing... and u will sing...!! I had promised naa...!! U won't loose ur music...!! TRUST ME...!!
(Manik was trying to console her...!! And make her believe that she can sing...!! And in the flow he just unknowingly said trust me... and that's when nandini got her senses back...!! She shot look at him... and that's when manik realised what he said...)
Nandini : Huh...!! Trust u...?? U promised...!!! I don't trust u... neither believe any of ur promise...!! Keep ur fake promises to urself...!! Because ur promises are meant to be broken...!! And I heard.. the doctor saying I cannot sing...!!
(Manik felt a pang in his heart listening her...!! He all this while had been hoping that she is changing... and soon she will trust him also... but her statement... shattered all his hopes...!! But still he composed himself as he knew... she is in a vulnerable condition...!! )
Manik: I know nandini I am responsible for every bit of ur suffering...!! And u don't trust me anymore...!! But what I am saying is the truth...!! The doctor himself said that u will be able to sing..!! It's just it will take a little time... with proper practice... and exercises...u will be able to sing...!! U haven't lost anything...!! Please don't loose hope... like this...!! Please don't let urself fall back in that darkness...!! Music will be back to u...!! Ur happiness will come back to u...!! Just don't fall weak... after coming so far...u will get ur music back...!!
(Manik was explaining her calmly... and she was listening to him quietly... as If every word from his mouth was directly reaching her soul... making her believe in him...!! Though she was saying... but that trust was building up inside her unknown to her...!!
Nandini: and what if I don't get it back...??
Manik: u will... u will get it back...!! U just need to give ur 100 percent to music...!! And think postively...!! We all will help u in getting music back to u...!! WILL U HELP US...??
(A new hope built in her... listening to him...!! She could feel the determination and truth in his voice...!!)
Nandini : YES...!! (She said subconsciously )
(Manik smiled... with her answer... and then said...)
Manik : chalo now...!! Let's go back home...!! Everyone is waiting for u...!!
Nandini: I want to stay here... u go...!! I will come on my own..!! (But little did she knew... he might not oppose her wish... but will also not go leaving her there all alone...!! )
Manik did not say a word...he just stood up... and sat beside her on the bench...!! Nandini also didn't told him anything... because somewhere may be she also wanted him to stay there with her...!! Both sat there quietly... nandini staring the garden... and manik staring her...!!

At nandini's house-
As abhi and alya reached... there... they saw all of them staring at the laptop screen... so they also moved forward to see what is so important in it...!! And what they saw... bought a shocking smile on their face...!!
It was the headlines showing...
