They reached nandini's place in no time...! And the view in front of them... made them blank...!! Nandini was there... but her condition... made them numb...!!
They were standing there... when nandini came to manik walling with her shaky legs... and said...
Nandini: ohh...!! Look... look... who is here...!! ( she said in shaky voice... which made them sure that she was drunk...)
As they heard her all the boys thought what happened to her suddenly... when she was getting better... since all these days...!!
Nandini walked more close to manik... and was about to fall... but he held her by her shoulders... to save her from falling...!! then she balanced herself and came out of his hold...!!
Nandini : I can handle ok...!! No need to come close...!! Huh... what do u think... being all good... good around me...!! Will make me forget everything...!! Haan...!! WHAT U THOUGHT... MESSING MY MIND WITH UR CARE AND CONCERN WILL MAKE ME WEAK...!! U WILL FOLLOW ME... ALL THE TIME AND I WON'T GET TO KNOW...!! THEN U ARE SO SO... WRONG...!!
( Manik was just trying to calm her down by continuously trying to hold her... as he wanted to take her to her room... but she everytime moved back.. not letting him hold her...)
Nandini : (she was saying it all unknowingly...) WHY ARE U DOING THIS...!! CA... CAN'T... U... S... SEE..THA... THAT... U ... U... ARE ... AFF... AFFECTING... ME.. AG... AGAIN...!! WH... Y... Because it's true that she was not in her senses... but even in this state also... she feared to say... love... she feared to accept his love...!! ) BUT... WH... Y... WILL... IT... MATTER... TO... (As she said this... manik lowered his head...!! Because she reminded him... about his mistakes all over again...and seeing her all broken and hurt... was the thing which he didn't evr wanted... she took a pause and then said...) SEE... NOW... IT HAS... STARTED TO HURT... ALSO... U KNOW... IN THESE TWO... YEARS... NAA... I FELT NOTHING... SERIOUSLY... NOTHING... BUT... AGAIN THIS HURT FEELING CAME... NOW...!! U KNOW... HOW MUCH I MISSED U...!! WHEN... I USED TO DRINK NA... U CAME TO MY MIND...!! WHILE SLEEPING... UR WORDS WOULD ALWAYS COME IN MY DREAMS...!! OR... I SHOULD SAY... NIGHTMARES...!! I MISSED U... WHEN I WAS ALL ALONE...!! I MISSED U... WHEN... AMMS... LEFT ME...!! I MISSED U... WHEN I CAME HERE... TO GET LOST...!! THEN... EVENTUALLY... ALL THESE FEELINGS STARTED... TO FADE...!! I STOPPED... MISSING... U...!! I FORGOT... MYSELF...!! I LOST MYSELF... IN THE... DARKNESS...!!
( Manik was again looking at her...!! He was feeling like killing himself... he left her... when she needed him the most...!! And then she continued...)
Nandini: I MISSED U... EVERY MOMENT... WHEN... I WAS... SILENT...!! BUT... DID... DID... U EVER... MISSED... ME...?? LET... ALONE... MISSING... DID... I EVER... CROSSED UR... MIND ALSO... IN THESE YEARS...?? (seeing him silent she just came near him and held his colar... and said) SAY NAA... WHY ARE... U SILENT...?? DID U EVER ... MISSED... ME..??
She kept her head on his shoulder... while holding his colar... as it was becoming difficult for her to balance herself...!!
Manik: Nandini...!! We will talk later... right now... u need rest...!!
(Manik said as he really thought she needed rest... seeing her getting tired and keeping her head on his shoulder...!!)
Nandini: No... no... no... I want all my answers right now...!! ( she was too stubborn to be tackled this time...!!) Or... I think u... are... avoiding... this... because... u never... never... missed.. me... henna...!! U never missed me...!! ( she said making a sad pout...)
Manik: Nandini...!! ( he said upping her facing with his hands... making her look into his eyes...!!) I was bound to leave u...!! I missed u... every second of my life...!! I missed u... when... was alone... without my shining star... fighting this cruel world...!! I have always missed... u...!!
They both were still looking in each others eyes...!! His true confession brought tears... in everyone's eyes... present there... including nandini...!! Both of them were having tears... in their eyes...!! Listening to his pain... and seeing it through his eyes...!! She just crashed herself in his arms...!! And cried more...!!
Nandini: I missed... u...!! I... missed u... so... much...!! Never... ever... leave... me again...!! I MISSED U...!!
Manik was surprised with this sudden hug...!! He never expected that she would hug him...!! He never expected that she would directly confront him with her pain... of being left alone...!! But then seeing her condition he couldn't control himself... he also hugged her tight...!! Like really tight...!!
They were standing there hugging each other tight...!! With nandini continuously saying I missed u...!! And manik caressing her hair... to calm her down...!!
It was around after 15 mins. When manik felt her her breathe even... which meant she has dozed of... while standing only... with her head on his chest ...!! And hand on his back for support...!! Manik then gestured his friends that he will just make her sleep and come back...!!
With this he picked her up in his arms... and nandini instantly made herself comfortable by putting her head properly on his chest... and hands around his neck...!!
At 9 pm nandini's room-
Manik kept her on the bed...!! Adjusted her pillow... removed her shoes...!! And sat beside her... caressing her hair... as she started moving on not feeling him around... but calmed down as he caressed her hair...!! He made her sleep properly...!! And then he was covering her with the blanket... just then he saw... a small plastic wrapper peeping from her pocket... he took it out...!! And found it empty... only... a little little powder was stuck on it...!! He smelled it... though he somewhere knew what it was ... but hoping against hope... he thought it could be something else...!! But it was the drug packet... and he came to know that she wasn't drunk but had consumed drugs...!! He covered her properly kissed her forehead...and left her room...!!

In the living room...!!
As manik came down he heard them talking about nandini...
Abhi: she might have got drunk... by mistake... I think...!!
Manik:(while coming down..) no... abhi... she wasn't drunk...!! She took her drugs...!!
Abhi: how are u so sure...??
Manik: I found this in her pocket...!! ( he showed them the packet...)
Navya: par nandini ko yeh mila kaha... vo toh bahar gayi thi na... walk ke liye...!! Kahi usne firse ye lena toh nai shuru kar diya...!!
Abhi: nai navya... tumne dekha nai kya... vo kitni achhi Tarah recover ho rai thi...!! Toh definitely vo yeh toh nai le rai hai...!! It's just today she took it...!! Because I have been checking her drug content also... which always came around to be nil...!! Ab bas Hume ye pata karna hai ki ye drugs uske pass aaye kaha se...!!
Manik: pata nai kab sab theek hoga... !! Kab nandini fir se pehle jaisi hogi ...!! I can't see her like this ...!! I feels like... we are back to where we started...!! (Saying so he palmed his face... let out a deep breath... and rested his head back on the sofa ...)
Abhi: manik... everything will be fine...!! ( he said keeping hand on his shoulder...) see the positive side also... na... that she said that she missed u..!! That means she still loves u...!!
Manik: abhi...!! I just want her to be alright...!! For herself...!!
Cabir: haan... toh did u notice.. she let out her pain... she cried... she openned up...!! About her feelings for u...!! So cheer up... man...!! We will get her back very soon... u just have to be patient and not loose hope...!!
Manik remained silent... as all his engry was drained by now...!! He was really tired...!! Aliya moved behind him... and started pressing his head... to make him relax... manik protested but she didn't listen to him... and did his head massage...!! And it did help... he just shifted... his... head... and lied down on the sofa... and slept...!! They covered him with the blanket... and then cabir aliya and navya left for Angel's villa...!! While Mukti and abhi stayed back...!! Abhi stayed back... if nandini needed any medical care because... she took drugs ... while she was already on medicines...!! And Mukti stayed back being a girl if nandini needed anything...!!
At around 1am...
Nandini woke up... with a heavy head...!! As since now she was not habitual to drugs... her head ached... under its effect...!! She held her head... and drank some water... which was near her... bed... on the table...!! She then moved out of the bed... and then out of the room...!! Only to find a sleeping manik on the sofa...!! Mukti sleeping on the other sofa...!! So she just moved from there... and went upstairs... to the terrace... for some fresh air...!!
As she reached the terrace... she found air one one already there... standing facing her back...!! So she moved mire forward... and hearing the foot steps the person turned... and nandini found him to be abhi...!!
Yes... abhi was standing there since long... thinking about the whole scene of today... if there was something negative... then there was something positive as well...!! He was lost... anf when he heard foot steps... he came out of his trance and turned around to find nandini standing there...!!
Abhi moved to her... and then both of them sat down at the chairs kept near each other...!! Both were silent... but then nandini initiated the conversation... and asked casually...!!
Nandini: what are u doing here...??
Abhi: nothing...!! Just thinking about today...!!
Nandini tried remembering what happened... today... and then stressing herself she finally remembered everything...!!
Nandini: I am sorry...!! (She said feeling guilty for what she did...!!)
Abhi: why are u saying sorry...??
Nandini: I was suppose to keep control over myself... but I ruined it all today...!!
Abhi: no... nandini... it's OK... It happens...!! ( he said calmly... because he knew he c need to deal with everything calmly...!! )
Nandini: No its not ok... I myself said that I want to be my old self... and I couldn't stick by my words...!! I don't think I can do this...!!
Abhi: no... nandini... stop talking nonsense...!! U can do this... and u will do this...!! It's just a matter of time... u will gain control over urself...!! But what happened today... that made u take this step...??
Nandini tried remembering...!! And then said...!!
Nandini : vo... in the evening I went... for the walk... like daily...!! It was an alone area... with very less people... around...!! And then there was a group of boys and girls... who were staring at me... I don't know why I feared...!! Then they called for me... I was feeling... restless... and then I turned back... but I didn't found 'anyone'... around... so I got more scared...!! Then I started sweating... and I don't know then how I reached them... and then they gave me a packet... I just had it and felt relief...!! Then I consumed more... and all this happened.. I walked all the way back home...!!
Abhi listened to her carefully ... and got an idea that by anyone she meant manik...!! She didn't found him...!! And became more scared...!! So to calm herself she took the drugs ...!!
Nandini: I was scared and... then I just without thinking had it... I didn't thought of anything...!! Just because of little fear I had it... I don't think I will be able to do this any more ...!! I cannot control myself in just a simple situation...!! Then what will happen further...!! No I can't do this...!!
Abhi: U can do this...!! I am telling u naa...!! What if u failed this time...!! We will try again...!! We will keep trying till the time we succeed...!! So stop thinking that you cannot do...!!
Nandini: but how abhi...?? ( She git tears in her eyes...)
Abhi: U remember nandini once during college days I said to u...!! TO FIGHT DARD-E-DIL... FIND THE HAPPINESS... IN THE NEXT BEST FAVOURITE THING...!!
Nandini tried remembering but only got blur images of her college time...!! So she nodded in no... on not being able to remember...!!
Abhi: koi baat nai...!! But the main point is... u need to find something to distract u from all the negativity...!! Is there anything which u feel is right for this purpose...??
Nandini thought for a while...!! But then nodded again in no...!!
Abhi: if I suggest something... then will u do it...??
