as soon as manik came to the pool side, the sight bewitched him and captivated him.. the entire place was magical and it seemed the stars had come down for them; to bless them, to witness their love and to capture every moment of their togetherness in their starlight to make it immortal... "nandini.." as soon as he uttered those words two soft and small hands wrapped him from behind and petite frame attached herself to him.. a smile crept on is face as he turned around to find his princess dressed in a white knee length maxi gown with white pearl earrings and a white angel band adorning her long hair.. "you look beautiful.." saying this he just couldn't stop himself and took her for a short sweet kiss..
as soon as the kiss ended nandini blushed and lowered her eyes.. "nandini..look at me.." he held er chin and made her look at him.. "you look more beautiful when you blush but if you keep on blushing and looking down then you have to do this your whole life.." he winked at her mischievously... nandini rolled her eyes and started hitting him playfully.. and soon they both started running around the pool with manik playfully trying to escape a anger faking nandini.. after a while nandini stopped panting and manik said "bas thak gayi?" and she replied "haan jao maaf kiya.." he smiled and took her in his embrace asking "why all this?" nandini smiled and said "manik you made every day, every moment of my life a celebration, a beautiful memory that relive and smile.. i know i can't match up to your grandeur but this is my small and precious of saying thank you for coming in my life and making it so special.. with you i feel the luckiest girl in world.."
manik broke the hug.. he smiled cupping her face and kissed her forehead saying "nandini murthy the joy you have given me is nothing compared to the little things i do. you are the biggest celebration of my life nandini and yes your the most special girl and you know why because you are the manik malhotra's girl.." saying this he took her to the dinner table and pulled the chair for her like a perfect gentleman and sat on the chair opposite to her.. "so what's in the dinner i am so damn hungry?" manik asked excitedly.. "see for yourself.." and to his surprise it was his favourite sushi.. "wow sushi.. how do you know?" he asked a little puzzled as none of his friends knew.. though manik loved italian food he was a fan of japenese cuisine especially sushi but since none of his friends liked he never tried it.. so when nandini ordered sushi he was surprised.. "DJ told me how once you had it and couldn't stop raving about it for days.. but since none of your friends liked you gave up and never had it.. so i ordered it for you.. do you like it.." nandini informed him leaving him baffled as to how he got so lucky to have her in his life..
"i won't say you thanks nandini cause there is no place for sorry or thanks in our life.." manik said kissing her hands.. nandini entwined their hands and said "shall we eat i am starving.." they both had a beautiful meal amidst lots of laughter, eye locks, nandini's never ending blush and manik's never ending teases.. after wrapping up the dinner manik held nandini's hands and started walking back in when he felt nandini was not moving.. he looked back an asked "what happened?" she smiled and replied "manik i don't want to go in so soon.. lets sit here na for some time under your favourite stars.." she said while sitting down on the lounge chair where she had already arranged for cushions and blankets.. manik raised his eyebrows and said "ohh.. so you are fully prepared for it?" "hmm.." she said with a winning look on her face..
soon they found themselves lying under the stars wrapped in a blanket.. manik was lying on the lounge chair with the support of the cushions and nandini was lying on him with her head on his chest listening to his heartbeats and manik was watching the stars.. there was complete silence as both them didn't needed words to convey their love for each other.. they reached a space were their silences also found words and words became irrelevant.. a mere presence of the other person was enough to lighten up the other's existence...blessed are the hearts where silences make peace with the noises and let the love talk.. manik was feeling the bliss looking at his favourite stars with his girl cocooned in his arms.. he was stroking her hair and soon realized she has fallen asleep but manik was far far away from sleep.. yes his life was a perfect bliss but the girl who is his life was not safe.. as soon as harshad crossed manik's thoughts he held nandini even more close to him in a tight grip as if he wanted to glue himself to her.. manik knew what kind of danger was approaching them but he was prepared to take harshad down.. "this time i will sink you like titanic harshad.." manik whispered under his breathe as he vowed to punish harshad for doing the cardinal sin; eyeing nandini... soon he realized that it was getting cold so he took her in his arms and walked into the mansion for a blissful night sleep..
the next morning was a big day for everyone; it was the day of Footloose the inter collegiate drama fest to be held at trinity college of music and drama.. nandini's opened her eyes to a 6 am alarm and found that manik was already up and checking the arrangements before they leave.. she sat on the bed with messy hair, stretching her arms and still yawing like a 5 year old... "manik.." she called for him on finding him in the room, looking around like a lost child.. manik peeped in from the balcony as he heard her voice while talking on phone and couldn't help but smile on seeing her in a messy hair.. "good morning princess!" he greeted her with a forehead kiss and she returned the favour with a good smile and a sugary morning wish.. "chalo nandini get ready fast.. today is our big day.. hi manik..bye manik.." alya walked in saying everything in a single breathe and dragged nandini out with her leaving manik confused "yaar yeh kya hua?"
it was 7 am and everyone was ready to leave.. soon they hopped in the cars and reached Trinity college in no time as it was early morning with less traffic.. everyone was in awe of the college of the huge college established in 1877.. the grandeur of the victorian architect was unmatched and it was hustling and bustling... there were students loads of them from various countries and cultures.. happy, smiling and nervous faces all set to take the world by storm with their talent.. nandini held manik's hand tightly out of nervousness; manik looked at her and smilingly he entwined his hands into hers and smiled and blinked his eyes in the assurance that all will be ok.. soon a volunteer walked up to them and after checking their documents guided them to their green rooms..
soon they were all dressed up for their plays.. manik looked effing hot in his retro 60's bell bottom pants and a red sweater.. nandini looked cute in her plain jane knee high skirt and the polka dotted full sleeved t shirt.. "you look cute.." manik said without making any noise to nandini who was standing across the room with other girls and she returned the favour by gesturing "you don't look bad either.." with her eyes.. their look game was broken by dj's voice "hello kids! i know you all are excited and nervous for this.. this is a huge chance for all of us to show the world that we are better no best than everyone else.. having said that what i want you all to do is have fun and live this moment and own this moment... as these moments are the moments you will cherish for life.. enjoy them kids and forget winning and loosing.." saying this dj signed off leaving everyone motivated..
soon the plays started and first it was romeo and juliet where abhi and alya cast their magic with their flawless acting.. as the curtains drew they took bows to a standing ovation... the next were were manik and nandini who were all set to play oliver and jenny.. "manik Im nervous.." nandini said with sweat beads forming on her forehead.. manik wrapped her around in her and wiping the sweat said "nandini relax all will be fine and remember this forever is bigger than any forever.." and placed a soothing kiss on her forehead.. nandini smiled and hugged him back feeling all assured.. they both walked on to the stage and took their positions as the play was announced.. they were flawless as flowing water, calm as ocean and smooth as wind in their act.. and as per manik's request or rather orders the ending was changed and oliver and jenny lived happily ever after..
as soon as the play ended they both stood there was a complete silence.. manik and nandini were all confused when they heard clapping, hooting and whistling that the college has never seen before... they both were overwhelmed by response.. nandini went up to manik and hugged him tightly and soon the entire group ran and hugged them.. now it was the time for results and as expected space academy students made it proud with romeo & juliet getting the first runner up and icing on the cake was love story winning the trophy.. as soon as the results were announced there was a wild victory dance in the green room which continued even after getting the trophy.. "guys we need celebrate this.." cabir announced.. "yes party like its the last time.." mukti said "yes..' they all shouted in unison.. "so which club?" alya pondered and they sat in deep thinking when manik suggested "no clubs at home cause there is no place like home.." he said looking at nandini.. "best ever idea..." dhruv supported him and they soon zoomed back to the mansion to celebrate their
