Chapter 5 A

Nandini's POV

I woke up with a heavy head then I tilted my face a little and saw Manik Sir. For once I thought I was in a dream then suddenly unluckily my sharp,actually very sharp reflexes alarmed me and all the incidents of last night popped up in my mind. Sharb pee kar so tou sbha har cheez bhooli hoti hai but mjy tou sab yaad tha..! Aiyappa..! The most breathtaking incident was THE KISS..! I KISSED Manik Sir..! And all his promises echoed in my mind and I smiled staring at his face. His face was calm..! He was looking so cute while sleeping. I gently touched his hair. I was falling for Manik Sir..! Or maybe I can say I had fallen in love with Manik Sir..! That kiss was a clear indication..! It was more like a confession..! I LOVE MANIK SIR..! Wow..! I think he too feels for me..! Yeah..! That's good..! I tou remember everything but do Manik Sir know that I remember everything..! Suddenly a evil idea came in my mind and I smiled evily. Chalo Love test karty hain? Yeah..! I gently came out of his grip as his arms were around my waist and started crying dramatically. Suddenly Manik Sir woke up and saw me crying.

"What happened? Why are you crying?"He asked worriedly cupping my cheeks and I smiled inwardly. He was worried for me..! I jerked his hand away and cried more loudly. Oh God Manik Sir's expressions were priceless..! I wanted to laugh loudly.

"What you did to me last night?"I shouted with a fake anger and Manik Sir's face went pale. Only I know how I was controlling myself from laughing.

"Nan-nandini..! Aisa ku-kuch nahi hua jaisa tu-tum soch rahi ho..!"He stammered and I jumped off the bed and walked towards the balcony.

"Ni..! Hua hai..! Warna how did I landed up on your bed?"I asked raising my eyebrow and Manik Sir gulped his Saliva.

"Sachi..! Aisa kuch nahi hua..! We just..!"He again stammered and I was getting impatient that he say something about the kiss. OMG what the hell was wrong to me..! I am not the same Nandini who joined Malhotra premises for money..! I was THE Nandini who was in madly love with Manik Sir..! I don't know how did I was acting so bold..! But yeah that was happening..! Maybe because I had so much of trust in Manik Sir..! Maybe I wanted to be with him for forever..! Maybe I was showing him the tantrums because I knew he will bear them..! He was the first man of my life..! And I wanted him to be my last too..! Last night's kiss was my first kiss ever and trust me it was beautiful..! When he started the kiss I felt like thousands of firecrackers explode in my head the sensation was so beautiful that's why I didn't let him broke the kiss and kissed him back..! I don't know from where the courage of kissing him back came into me but whatever it was, it was awesome..! Then I noticed his expressions..! He was embarrassed but I told him that I trust him..! Then I slept in his arms..! Seriously his arms were solace for me..! His arms were the safest place I felt...! I felt the warmth of a mother,a care of a father and an intensity of a lover. I tou have accepted my feelings...! Now it's Manik Sir's turn. So I was just playing with him..!

"We just?"I asked innocently and he lowered his head with embarrassment.

"I am sorry..! Main apny ap ko control nahi kar paya..! Meri intentions wrong nahi thy..! I think..! I think I feel something for you..! I am sorry..! But tumhry sath jaisa feel hota hai waisy pehly kise kay sath nahi hua..! Actually we kis..!"Before he could complete his sentence I flunged in his arms and this time I cried in real. He was such a gentleman..! Maybe he was taken aback for a second but he too hugged me back. I cried with my whole heart not because of sadness but because of happiness..! He rubbed my back and caressed my hair. "If you want to leave me then it's totally your choice..!"I heard his whisper.

"No..! No..! I want to be with you Sir..! Hamesha..!"I almost shouted hysterically and hugged him more tighter. "Please don't leave me..!"I sobbed and his grip around me became tight.

"Acha..! Shh..! I am not leaving you..! I am with you..! Relax..!"I heard his soft and polite whisper. He tried to broke the hug but I didn't let him do that. Don't know I was feeling if I will break the hug he will leave me which I didn't wanted.

Manik's POV

I don't know what was happening..! But yes it was actually happening..! We both made a choice.! We both made at the same time..! What was the new feeling..! I don't know yet but whatever it was it seems so pure..! It seems so adorable..! What was that? Was that love? Does love feels like this? She was not allowing me to broke the hug..! We both needed each other maybe..! Her tears were wetting my shirt and her grip on my back and getting tighter with each passing moment...! I was worried that if she will keep crying like this she must affect her health..!

"Nandini..! Why are you crying now?"this time I forcefully broke the hug and made her look at me. Her eyes were red due to constant crying. I carefully wiped her tears and shook my head in a no asking her not to cry.

"I am sorry..!"Once again the kiss thing guilty overtook me and I apologized.

"No..! Sir..! You don't have to be sorry..!"She said holding my hand and I was much relieved. Whatever I was thinking last night was rubbish..! She accepted that thing..! Finally I was happy to accept the thing that our last night kiss was not a MISTAKE..! Wait? How did she know that we kissed? That means she remember everything...! And that was all her drama to scare me..!

"You remember everything right..!"I said curiously looking at her cute innocent face as she was busy playing with my fingers just like a kid. As soon as I spoke she look at me sheepishly and smiled. "You naughty girl..! You scared me with your so called drama..!"I shouted angrily but she was so Dheet my shout didn't had any affect on her she was still smiling..! "Stop smiling..!"I again shouted. I was really angry on her and walked back to the room. She run behind me and blocked my way.

"Acha acha sorry..!"She exclaimed and held her ears. I shoved her away and walked towards my cupboard to get my towel. She again came in front of me and smiled. "Sir..! I said na sorry..!"She said making a cute pout but I was not in a mood. "Aray I am saying sorry..!"She held my hand.

"Nandini Murthy..! Its 7 am..! Tmhy 8 am pay office main present hona hota hai..! Agr tum late hue tou I will fire you..!" I gave her a threat and she made a bad face.

"You are so kharoos..!"She angrily tapped her foot on the floor and shouted.

"I know..! Now run fast..! Driver will drop you..!"I said in a loud voice and walked inside the bathroom.

"I will not say sorry again suna ap nay?..!"I heard her shout again and I smiled widely. That girl..!

"Sun liya..! Now fast run to save your job..!"I again shouted smilingly and I heard tapping her foot again. And then suddenly she ran away. I turned on the shower and take a hot shower. I had a never vanishing smile on my face. I look at myself in the mirror..!

"Meri smile itne bhi buri nahi hai..!"I talked to myself smilingly and after giving myself a final look in mirror I came out. I saw the dining table there was food..!

"Mohan..! You know main breakfast nahi karta..! Phr ya sab?"I asked giving my Butler a glare who was serving Paratha on the table.

"Yes Sir..! I know..! But wo red dress wala madam the na..! Unhn nay ya Paratha banaya hai..! Aur bola kay ya ap ko day doon..!"He explained and gave a pink note. I frowned and look at the note. After reading it a smile spread on my face. The note was..!

"Myny ya Parathaa ap ko sorry bolny k liye nahi banya hai..! It's just aj say ap breakfast kiya karen gay..! Agr na kiya na tou..! Chalo choro..! I know you will eat..! See you at office..! BOSS..!

I smilingly folded the note and placed it safely in my wallet. Then I literally sat on the table to have my breakfast made by Nandini..! It was a aloo paratha with mango milkshake..! I eat slowly relishing the taste it was really tasty. For the first time I was enjoying my food..! But kitna acha hota agr Nandini bhi mery sath bethi hoti..! Hmm..! Chalo..! Next time I will make sure that she will be with me...! I look at the wrist watch and freak it was already 8:30 I can't be late.

I rushed towards the office and reached on time..! Thank God I didn't broke my record of being on time exact at 9. but..! Where was Nandini..? There was no coffee on the table..! Nor fresh flowers..! She hadn't reached office yet? Strange..! My sixth sense was alarming me of something wrong..! I rushed towards Cabir's Cabin..

"Where is Nandini?"I asked him worriedly.

"Wohooo Bro..! How would I know..! She was with you na..! Last night..!"Cabir explained and I became more worried.

"I mean to say kay wo office I?"I asked again.

"Nai..! Abhi tak nahi I..!"Cabir was still calm.

"Then where is she? Wo tou kabhi late nahi hoti..!"I almost freaked out.

"Relax Manik..! She will be there..!"Cabir tried to calm me down but he himself was worried now.

"Tu us ki Maa ko call kar..! Aik tou is bewkoof larki kay pass cell phone bhi ni hai..!"I yelled in frustration. Now it was 10 am. Cabir called her Maa.

"Manik..! Nandini tou wahan say nikal chuki hai 2 ghanty pehly..!"Cabir said worriedly and I felt like someone had thrown me into a dark well.

"Tou gai kahan..?" I was hell worried. Suddenly I heard a loud painful sound of crying and it didn't took me a minute to recognize that it was Nandini. I run out of Cabir's Cabin and he too followed me. I saw Nandini she was crying loudly like a kid I rushed towards her..

Chapter 5 B

"Nandini..! What happened?"I said worriedly and then I noticed her elbow was hurt. As soon as she saw me she crashed in my chest and once again her never ending cries started which shook me to the core. "Hua kya? Kuch tou btaoa?"I said panicking rubbing her back.

"Wo..! Wo..!"She fumbled and again her voice was stuck.

"Acha..! Come..!"I figured out she was scared and I took her to my Cabin. I tried to break the hug but she cling to me tightly. "Nandini..! Tum mjy dara rahi ho..! Please tell me something..! What happened? Where were you?"I said, forcefully breaking the hug and she sniffed. "Sit here..!"I made her sit on my chair and kneeled in front of her. Then I held her hands and made her look at me.

"Wo..! Main office aa rahi the..! On my way I bought a chocolate aur aik street doggie mery peechy lag gya..! I fell and my chocolate too..! See..! I hurt my elbow..!"Nandini told me her "dukh-bhari-dastaan" childishly and showed me her elbow and I sighed in relief.

"Thank God kuch aur nahi hua..! Lets go to the doctor..!"I said politely and held her hand to make her get up.

"Ni..!"She shouted and freed her hand from my grip. I was taken aback.

"What ni?"I asked frowning my face.

"Me ko doctor pass nahi jana..! Wo injection lagaye ga..! Mjy dar lagta hai..!"She said so childishly that I couldn't resist my laugh and here we go seeing me laughing she again started crying.

"Ok ok..! Hum nahi jaty doctor kay pass..! But this wound needs dressing warna infection ho jye ga..!"I said worriedly then I pulled the first aid box from my drawer and started dressing her wound.

"Dard ho raha hai..!"She shouted like a kid and I became more worried.

"Shhh..! Calm down..! It will be ok..!"I ended the dressing and she shoved my hand away.

"Me ko ap say baat nahi krni..! Aur waisy bhi u tou angry with me na...! Huhhh..!"With that she got up and I sighed this girl and her tantrums..! She turned the table within seconds..! Yes I was angry with her and now she was showing me attitude..!

"Acha come I will drop you home..! Aj tum rest kar lo..!"I said politely but how can I forget she was Nandini..!

"Nai..! Kuch nahi hua mjhy..! Nai jana mjy ghar..!"She said angrily tapping her foot and sat on her chair. Then she pull out a file and started working.

"Fine...! Do whatever you want to..!"Mine anger too crossed the limits and we both completely ignored each other the whole day.

Nandini's POV

Huhhh..! That doggie..! Because of him..! My only chocolate too fell..! I even don't have money to buy a new one..! Aur salary milny main tou bohat time hai..! Aur oper say Manik Sir phr say naraz ho gye..! Aiyappa..! I look at my wrist watch it was strucking 6 pm and I was damn hungry. I tried to say sorry so many times but this ego..! I even didn't had my breakfast and this kharoos he even didn't thanked me for the paratha..! Saroo..! Kharoos..! I look at him and he was still engrossed in his work. Now I was feeling dizzy..! I had no other option unless to go and talk to him..! I have a problem my sugar levels run down very quickly that's why I eat lots of chocolates to maintain my sugar level but today I had no chocolate to eat today the only chocolate I lost in that doggie incident. At last I got up and walked towards him slowly measuring each step so that I don't collapse.

"Sir..!"I called him but Kharoos didn't look at me. I was on verge of crying now.

"Sir..!"I again called him and he look at me raising his eyebrow.

"What? You are here to say sorry?"He asked sarcastically "Because If you are sorry then sorry is not accepted..!"He said and resumed to his work. I held the corner of the desk to stay steady but once again the dizziness took over me.

"Ap please mj say naraz nahi hoon..! Ap mj say naraz hoy hain tou mjy bilkul bhi acha nahi lagta..!"I said in a low voice and for the first time he smiled.

Manik's POV

Her cutest confession forced me to smile. I look at her and she smiled faintly. I instantly shut my laptop and got up from my chair.

"Sorry..!"She said and a tear escaped her eye. Freak all my teasing session was dumped into a waste bin and I mentally slapped myself.

"Hy hy..! Itne jaldi rona shuru kar daite ho I was just joking..!"I said softly and wiped her tear. With that I pulled her for a hug and she too almost fell in my arms. I felt she her whole weight on me. "Nandini..! Are you ok?"I asked patting her cheek but no response. Freak she was fainted. Oh God..! I picked her up and rushed towards the hospital.

"Doctor? Wo theek hai na? Is she ok?"I asked worriedly as soon as doctor was done checking her.

"Manik..! Her glucose level is dangerously low..! I have guessed that she has a problem of low sugar levels..!"Doctor Pooja explained and I remembered that we both didn't ate anything whole day moreover I didn't noticed her eating any chocolate too..! That's why she ate too many chocolate I sighed on my negligence..! I risked her health just because of my stupid ego..!

"She will be ok right?"I asked to doctor and she nodded.

"I guess so..! Just take care of her..! Myny injection day diya hai..! She will gain her conscious soon..! Then you can take her home..!"Doctor Pooja said politely and I nodded. Oh I forgot to introduce doctor Pooja she was our family doctor or I can say my doctor. She was so kind to me..! Whenever I got fever or any disease she took care of me. "Aik baat pochon?"Doctor Pooja asked to me and I knew she wanted to ask about Nandini.

"She is my secretary..!"I told her without any hesitation.

"Just secretary.?.!"Doctor Pooja asked and I laughed sarcastically.

"You think Manik Malhotra can be worried for a "just-secretary"..!"I said smilingly staring at Nandini's face and I held her hand tightly.

"I am happy for you..! I hope this girl will fill your colorless life drawing with her colors of love..!"Doctor pooja said patting my head.

"I too hope the same..!"I whispered and gently pecked Nandini's hand. Doctor Pooja left and I kept patting Nanidini's head. I wanted to protect her from the world..! I wanted to be with her every second..! For once I thought I will get a heart attack when she was crying at morning..! And when she fainted I thought I will be dead for sure..! This girl..! She was my everything now and I accept it..! Unknowingly my life had started revolving around her..! She had done some kind of magic over me..! I think agr wo din ko raat bolay ge tou me maan jaoan ga..! Agr mjy wo asmaan say tary toor kar lany ko boly ge tou main wo bhi lay aoan ga..! I never knew that love can be so beautiful..! Chain of my thoughts was broken by her cough with that she opened her eyes weakly..!

Shhh..! Drink the water..!" I said politely and help her in sitting up. Then I made her drink water..! Thank God she was ok..! I hugged her tightly and she too hugged me back.

"I was so scared..!"I whispered in her ear and she ruffled my hair.

"I am ok Sir..! Calm down..!"She too whispered and I broke the hug. Then I cupped her face and kissed her forehead ever so gently.

"Tum nay mjy ya sugar level wali baat q nahi batai..!"Suddenly I was back in my angry mood and she made an angry pout.

"We are still fighting?"She asked making a bad face and I sighed. Then I held her hands..!

"Listen don't you ever dare to do that to me again..! I can't afford to lose you too..!"I said emotionally and she freed her hands from my grip. The she too cupped my face.

"Main bhi ni..!"She confessed softly and gently kissed my cheek. I closed my eyes in pleasure then she rested her head on my chest and I wrapped my arms around her..! We both know about each other's feelings..! But the only thing remaining was..! THE CONFESSION..!
