CHAPTER 1

He returned to his house late that night. It was 3am and still sleep was no where near him. An unusual feeling of restlessness was engulfing him, he was surrounded with all sort of strange feelings that he had never felt before. He had no clue of what was happening to him, nor he bothered to know why and what those feelings were.

He was trying to feel proud of himself, but he was hardly feeling even satisfied. He thought after getting done with her for once and for all he'll be free, he'll feel happy again to get rid of her finally but that peace and happiness was no where near him.

But he chose to plainly shoo those thoughts away and have a nap, he took those feelings just as an outcome of the eventful day that it had been. He lay on the bed trying to get some sleep but as soon as he closed his eyes the only thing he could see was HER face. It was haunting him ever since he had left her broken there. Her swollen eyes, full of pain hurt and grief. He didn't know why but he just wasn't able to get that image out of his head. The way she was pleading him to say that it was all a lie, to say that he wasn't serious, to tell her that he really loved her and that he wasn't going anywhere. All these things kept flashing before his eyes. "I love you manik" "I love you more than anything in this world, you mean my world to me" "promise me manik, promise me that you will never leave me..!!"

All her words were ringing in his ears and he felt that he would go deaf. "STOOPPP...!!!" He yelled on top of his voice unable to bear it anymore. He sat up straight on his bed holding his head in between his hands and was panting heavily.

"What is happening to me? Why are her words haunting me so much!!?? Gosh..! I should have known that girl is a trouble. Even after leaving her, her thoughts won't just leave my head. Has she done some kind of black magic or what? Why would I even think about a commoner like her? Common manik... stop thinking about her. She's a closed chapter now. I'm sure after what I did with her she won't even dare to show me her face ever again. And these stupid thought even they would soon get out of your head. Yeah ..!!"

He tried consoling himself... but the thought of not seeing her ever again pained his heart a bit and the more he thought about it the more restless he grew, but being THE MANIK MALHOTRA that he is, he aging refused to acknowledge his feelings and just let it be. He got up from the bed and made his way to the bar counter that was specially made for him in his large mansion and sat there gulping down as many bottles he could before he passed out on the same spot.

On the other side...

In the dim light of the moon, under the sky there stood a girl in the balcony of a large mansion. Witnessing the start lit sky. And giving a sarcastic smirk in all her glory. Beauty was all she defined, without any traces of make up just pure beauty with the shine of the moon sparking bright on her face. Her silky long open hair swaying with the wind like waves of the ocean. Her milky white skin which could easily give a hard time for any man to control his desires. Indeed she was every man's desire. Perfect curves, luscious lips which one could happily die to claim, almond shaped eyes which had depth of an ocean. She was a pure bliss indeed.

No one could tell by her face what was going on in her mind right now, cause both her face and eyes conveyed different emotions.

Her eyes showed a range of emotions, of hatred pain hurt but one which was overpowering all was that of REVENGE. There was determination on her face. And no man looking at her in this avatar would want to mess with such a dangerous beauty.

"Mr.Manik Malhotra you've done a big big mistake.! You have no idea with whom you've decided to mess with. But don't worry my dear, you'll realize soon, and I'll make you realize it and I swear I'm gonna make you regret every bit of it. You love to play games don't you? So let me teach you how to play it fair!" she said in a sarcastic tone full of hatred.

Suddenly she heard a knock on the door which broke her thoughts.

"Who is it??" she asked.

"It's me baby doll." She heard someone say from the other side and she hurriedly rushed to open the door and without wasting any single second she pounced on the person in front of her and pulled him in a tight hug.

"Whooaah kiddo, calm down calm down I'm not going anywhere." That person said again pulling her out of the hug.

" You have no idea how glad I am to see you right now.!! But anyways leave that and first come in and have a seat."

With this they both entered inside the room and the person took a seat on bed making himself comfortable. While the girl sat right besides him.

"So? Miss Nandini Murthi lets talk about something that's more important for now." "Are you sure that you want to do it? I mean as far I know you..." And he was cut in between by her , " I was never more confident about anything else in life than this. Yes I'm sure I want to do it, cause this time my only priority is to destroy HIM, and I will do anything and everything needed to do that."
