Chapter - 4

Manik was now banging the door and there was no response. Manik was growing restless now he was not left with a choice but to break the door and Manik was about to break when he heard the door opening sound.

Nandini walked out of the room rubbing her eyes , extremely tired pale and exhausted.

Nandini - Tum pagal ho kya sone kyun nahi de rahe. God koi iss monster se mujhe please bachao .

Manik - (he had lost it now) Have you lost it Nandini (shouted manik) How can you sleep I have been trying to wake u up for such a long time and do you understand how worried I was. stop pulling these stunts on me.

Nandini (rolled her eyes) - Manik I am sleepy sone do

Manik - Khana khao abhi

Nandini - Manik I told u na mei nahi khaungi unless u let me go for the camp.

Manik - Stop being so stubborn Nandini

Nandini - Nahi (shouted in anger) and walked back to her room to sleep

Manik - don't you dare lock the door.

It was 7 AM in the morning when Nandini felt something heavy on hear waist it was her monster's hand and she could see his baby face . Even he looked tired an exhausted.

Nandini Slowly removed his hand and moved to washroom to get ready she was tired hungry exhausted but sttuborn.

Meanwhile manik woke up when he felt nandu was not by his side. He saw her coming out of the bathroom. She looked beautiful in those wet hair and he kept admiring her till the reality stuck him.

Manik - Jaan

Nandini - hmmm

Manik - Jaan pls look at me

Nandini - looked at him and asked what

Manik - are we still fighting jaan

And suddenly nandini's phone starts ringing and she avoids his question and responds to the call

Nandini - Haan navya bolo

Navya - mata rani tumhe buddhi de kya naya bawal machaya hai . kya tum niti jaisi chottisi bachi ho. Manik ki baat samjho tumhe jana nahi chahiye nandu . Hum tumhare bhale ki baat kar rahe hain.

Nandini - mujhe nai suna bye and she cuts the call.

Navya on the other side yeh ladki samajh kyun nahi rahi.

Manik - jaan please kuch khalo

Nandini - manik if u r hungry go eat. I know you don care if I live or die, You will do what you want.

And that's it the monster was back. His eyes turned blood red and all his anger went on his hand he banged hid hand on the wall. Nandini realized she shouldn't have said that. She was his life how could she say something like that.

Manik pinned her to wall tightened his grip on her hands fused his lips with hers as that kiss was the only way he would calm down. Nandini was initially taken back but she gave in the kiss was forceful he was pouring out his pains her words were haunting him. He found her going weak and gasping for breath seeing that he left her and walked out of the house without saying anything, Nandini was feeling extremely guity but now she was even more weak.

It was 11 AM and there was no sign of manik . Nandini called cabir to check if he turned up to work.

Nandini - Cabir kya manik office mei hai

Cabir - Nahi yaar kabse phone kar raha hoon no response utha hee nai raha.

Nandini was worried she narrated the entire incident that happened in the morning and she was in tears now, Cabir tried to console and suddenly he heard a noise from nandini's end. He kept calling out her name and there was no response. Cabir was lost he quickly grabbed his keys called up navya and informed to reach at nandini's place asap and took mukti along and left for her place.

Navya reached Nandini's place before anyone else the minute she enter the hall and the vision she had she was lost and horror stricken. Nandini had collapsed on the sofa and probably when she fell she hit her head heard on the sofa handle and now she was bleeding.

Navya shouted - Nandini !!!!!!!!!!!

She immediately took her on her lap started sprinkling water but Nandini wasn't responding meanwhile cabir and mukti also reached and when they saw Nandini like that they were scared worried and what not.

Cabir picked up Nandini in his arms and dashed towards the door so that he could take her to the hospital. Nandini in that state kept calling out Manik's name even now their were tears flowing down her eyes. Cabir couldn't see her in so much pain. Mukti kept trying Manik's number and he was picking up calls loosing all hopes Mukti messaged him " Moron pick up your calls. Nandini has hurt herself and we are rushing her to city hospital"

Meanwhile manik was sitting all alone at beach thinking of his time with Nandini and how much she meant to him. His phone was in the care and he had no clue what was happening around him. He had taken the decision for him Nandini was his lifeline and nothing was above that. He pulled himself to the car and saw his phone buzzing.

He checked there were 120 calls from Nandini some 40 calls from cabir and mukti and 20 calls from navya. And there was 1 unread message, He opened the message and wat he saw left him devasted

It was from Mukti which said " Moron pick up your calls. Nandini has hurt herself and we are rushing her to city hospital"

Manik couldn't breathe he felt lifeless. He started his car and drove like a mad man.
