Chapter 1

Early morning with the birds chirping and slight sun rays falling inside the room waking up a beautiful girl who has been sleeping peacefully in the most comfortable and secured pair of arms which belonged to Manik her Monster Manik or lets say "Simply Manik"😊

Seeing his baby face Nandini couldn't resist but gives him a kiss on his pouted lips.❤️

Manik could feel her while sleeping as well that pout soon after the kiss turned into a smile waking him from his peaceful sleep.

Manik: Nandini kya hua? Aaj kuch zyada pyar aa raha hai mujhpe. (Manik says with a smirk)

Nandini: Manik,pyar to humesha zyada tha bas aaj thoda aur zyada hogaya. You look so cute when u sleep. You never knew that u can look so cute.

Manik: Nandini ab mujhe kaise pata ki I look cute while sleeping. You should sleep with me regularly to tell me that na (Another famous smirk of manik and Nandini blushed and turned into a pink cotton candy)

Nandini :.Shut up Manik !!! Chalo abhi get up I think its time for you to get up and get ready you have to meet Cabir and Mukti you have a meeting.

Manik: Oh ya..I just forgot abt it. Thanks for reminding.

Nandini:Listen,I'l freshen up and go downstairs and make breakfast till that time you get freshen up ok.

Manik:Ok fine. But before that give me what I want or else I am not moving an inch said manik with another smirk.

Nandini was blushing and she was wrapped in a duvet and she very well knew what he wanted. She slowly went close to him and tried to give a kiss on his cheeks but The Manik Malhotra knows to get what he wanted and he pulled her with a jerk and smacked her lips with his and gave a long and passionate kiss Nandini was equally into it and in the flow left her hand which was holding the duvet and encircled around his neck. Next what happened was a quick love making session in the morning as Manik and Nandini can never resist each other. Manik always called Nandini his drug he could never resist her.

Her innocence and sweetness did wonders in his life

It was already eight and now Manik's cell was constantly ringing and displaying Cabir's name on it

Fab 5 were together but not as the same old best friends but only as friends Cabir Mukti and Manik were still best of friends, Dhruv moved out after the last performance. He was currently building his career in Bollywood music industry. Alya had recovered from her illness and depression and was also out of the band she was studying fashion designing now post her graduation from SPACE.

Navya gave birth to a beautiful Girl baby and named her Niti, actually Nandini named her as Niti and the best part is Manik and cabir just adored her. Niti is 2 yrs old now for her cabir was her dad and manik was her super chachu and Nandini was maasi whom she loved a lot.

Manik was running his own small Music label along with cabir and mukti as he didn't want to join his father as of now. They promoted young talent. Navya was teaching music in a Music college and Nandini of all was doing her MBBS she had just started with her 3^rd year in the Medical college.

Manik and Nandini were so much in love that they could not live without seeing each other for even a day. Chacha chachi and Amms had approved their relationship and wanted them to get married but Nandini wanted to finish her MBBS before that and Manik agreed .

Ever since chacha-chachi had started goingto mangalore with rishab from 4 days every monthto meet amms and Nandini having her practicals and classes won go so manik and nandini would spend some time together at either hos place or her place

At breakfast table,manik comes down and nandini serves him breakfast and she goes to her room to get herself ready and After having their Food manik drops nandini at medical college and leaves to meet Cabir and Mukti..

Chapter -2

After Dropping Nandini at her college and exchanging some sweet nothing Manik Drove off to Meet Mukti and Cabir at their office.

Mukti - Ye Manik kab sudrega . Mukti was angry as it was 9:45 and Manik was suppose to reach at 9

Cabir - (with his usual self said) Ab yeh tu use puchna jab ayega aur waise bhi Manik sudhar jayega to humara kya hoga. Hum toh bore jaayenge.

Mukti - ( She was getting irritated now) Cabirrr... Tu kab sudrega. Manik ki chodd bada hoja . Niti tujse zyada samajdaar hai.

Cabir - (Smirked) Ya right. Waise humare Love Malhotra I mean Manik Malhotra pahuncha kyun nahi.When I called he said he was on his way.

And there enters Manik with his super cool attitude and walks straight to Mukti and gives her a tight hug as he knows that she would be fuming as of now.

Manik - Mukti my friend how are you this morning.

Cabir - Uski Morning ka toh Pata nai saale teri zaroor achi rahi hogi . Look at u all happy chirpy and fresh.

Thinking of morning Manik started blushing which was clearly noticed by Mukti and Cabir.

Cabir -raised his eyebrows with an evil smirk and said "Lookin at u my dear boy I am sure it was quiet adventurous and action packed "

Now Manik was shocked at that statement and was throwing angry glares at him and if looks could kill cabir would have died million times.

Mukti -Enuf guys chalo lets get to the point. (Mukti said with a stern voice)

Manik noticed that Mukti was not her usual self today and he didn't want to bother her so he came back to the point.

Manik - So guys coming back to the agenda of our meeting today we need to launch the Talent hunt for this year and we need to empanel judges and Stylists.

Cabir - Since the time we launched it last year it was a Huge hit and I believe people are also waiting for it.

Mukti - (a bit stern voice) said We need to build a team of best judges and no compromises in Dress Designers. I don't want last minute glitches so lets get serious about this I would not want any silly jokes or stupid and snide comments

Cabir and Manik nodded their head in affirmation but were confused y she was behaving like that. While they were thinking Manik got a call on his phone which displayed as "My Drug" cabir noticed and gave a teasing smile. Manik Excused himself and took the call.

Manik - love you are already missing me asked manik in a teasing tone.

Nandini - I never miss u baby you are part of my soul. You are with me inside me.

Listening to this manik smiled and could feel her blush the otherside.

Manik - Stop Blushing like this otherwise it would be a very hard night for you.

Hearing this Nandini turned crimson red. Manik's touch and talks always created havoc inside her. She would feel restless and start smiling and shying

Nandini -Manik please !!!! I am in college.

Manik straightened himself

Nandini - Manik I need to tell u something important

Manik found her voice a little serious now and suddenly he panicked

Manik - jaan are u alright ? are u hurt ? did someone say something thing? Please tell me jaan

Nandini - Manik pls don panic I am alright its about Mukti. How is she today.

Manik was confused

Manik - Wat abt mukti ? now he was even more stressed

Nandini - Manik its 21^st August today

Manik - S0

Nandini - Manik aaj Abhi ki barsi hai. Don't leave Mukti alone today for god sake

Manik mentally slapped himself for forgettin the date and not being there for here

Nandini - Stop Cursing urself Mentally Manik . You will always be there for her. She will never say but she needs her friends.

Manik smiled at what just Nandini said. She knew him inside out infact better than anyone else. She could read his silence in fact both of them could read each other .

Manik - What will I do without u jaan. U r the best part of my life I love u too moon and back.

Nandini smiled as her Monster Monkey Malhotra was so adorable

Nandini - I Love U more baby humesha and now have a nice day and please be with mukti and inform cabir and navya Take care of her and please don skip ur lunch.

Manik assured Nandini passed on a phone kiss and kept the phone and turned to mukti and cabir

Mukti - Manik hogaya tera tu kab sudhrega jab dekho romance kabhi toh serious hoja.

Manik gave her a smile walked upto mukti and gave a tight hug to her patting her back softly assuring her and said" I am always there for u Mukti and u ll never be alone"

Cabir confused Mukti baffled

Chapter 3

Cabir was confused as he didn't understand anything. Mukti was baffled by the sudden hug. She was numb didn't know how to respond. Manik hugged her as an elder brother . He had slight tears in his eyes but The Manik Malhotra cannot show himself weak.

Cabir - Breaking the trance" Manik tu theek hai"

Manik - Mujhe kya hua fit and fine. He released mukti from the hug and now hugged Cabir and slightly whispered in his ear "aaj Abhi ki barsi hai".

Cabir understood his evil twin's mindset so not wasting further time all three shared a hug.

Mukti - (had a smile on a face and said) Tujhe Nandini ne bataaya na. Tu bhool gaya tha. Aur tu cabir I thought u wud know.

Manik and cabir both felt bad but they immediately sat on their knees like school kids and apologized holding their ears. Mukti melted with their gesture and immediately hugged both of them.

Mukti - I love you guys ...tum log nahi hote to aaj I don't know how would I be, Bas ye dhruv aur alya kab samjhenge.

Cabir - (Giving a side hug) chodna Mukti we 3 our enuf for each other aur kitna samjhaye. Its been 2.5 year since we split only we think about them .

Manik was lost in his own thoughts when Mukti brought him back to reality by shaking him.

Mukti - Tujhe kya hua Manik. Kahan Khoya hai.

MAnik - Mukti I have an idea why not we empanel Dhruv and Alya for our Talent hunt.

Cabir and Mukti gave him a Puzzled look.

Manik - I mean Dhruv can be a part of our judging team and alya could work on the dresses. This way they would be around us and probably we can try to get back to the old days.

Cabir and Mukti were shocked . They couldn't believe that Manik still believes that FAB 5 will be back.

Mukti - Tujhe Nandini kitna badal diya hai Manik.. Tu aaj bhi hum panchon ko lekar Positive hai. Hats off to that girl. In chaar saalon mei she has changed you a lot. Aaj jo Manik mere samne khada hai who kitha sulja aur samjdhar hai.

Cabir - So true Manik. If someone had asked me 4 years back that Manik would change I would never believe. You have changed Man and that to for good. I am really proud of Nandini she is like we say all great things come in Small package.

MAnik's heart swelled with pride for Nandini. He was happy with her but he still missed his buddy and Alya.

It was around 3 PM when they finished discussing about the Talent Hunt Campaign and they wanted to go ahead with the plan of having Alya and Dhruv on board. Cabir would connect with Dhruv and Mukti with Alya.

Manik's Phone starting buzzing and the display said "My Drug" and instantly there was a smile on his face and friends knew who it was

Manik - Haan jaan, Aaj toh sach mei bahut zyaada pyar aa raha hai mujh pe subah se ye doosra call hai. You never call me at work. Kya baat hai.

Nandini - (with a smile) Like I said manik tumpe toh humesha pyar aata hai haan aaj kuch zyaada par uska bhi reason hai.

Manik was alarmed - Agar tumhe kisi medical camp me jana hai and u want me to send you then it's a big no. I cant stay away from you.

Nandini - Manik Please na bas dus din ki baat hai. Its very important it will give me a good exposure. Please pretty please.

Manik always melted to her pleads but this time his was not ready, but there was a reason to it last time when Nandini had gone for a week's camp to dhanbad she fell very sick and had to be air lifted and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. After That infact Manik wanted her to discontinue her medicine do something else and for him nothing was bigger or important than her Health. After lot of fights and arguments and promises he let her continue her medicine

Manik was very Clear this time that whatever she says it going to be NO and nothing more.

Nandini - Please na baby mujhe jaan hai. Its in a village near Srinagar . It's a great opportunity for me to learn please na babu.

That's it the mere Mention of Srinagar made Manik sure that she is not going for sure.

Manik - no way Nandini Srinagar I am not sending you its not safe plus kitni thand hogi wahan. No baby no more arguments you are not going.

Nandini - Manik please na sab jaa rahen hai. It looks bad in last 1 year mei kisi bhi camp nahi gai. But ab mujhe jana hai,

Manik - (He was now getting angry and annoyed) Nahi Matlab nahi Nandini. Why do you have to be so stubborn always. You are not going anywhere that's final ab no more discussion on this go have your lunch.

Nandini - (The minute manik mentioned lunch an idea struck her) Manik if u wont send me na I am not going to eat. I am going on a hunger strike and I am very sure abt it no water no food.

Manik - (He was shocked) Nandu please go eat please. Stop pulling these stupid tantrums

Nandini - I am not throwing tantrums I am not gonna eat bye. And she cuts the call.

Manik - (Mind talk) Drama Queen abhi khalegi and smiled to himself.

Mukti and Cabir asked him about what had happened and Manik shared the gist of their conversation and then Both Mukti and cabir agreed with Nandini .

Mukti - Yaar use jaane de bachi nai hai wo she'll take care of her self tujh jaise monster ko handle kar sakti hai to apna khayal bhi rak sakti hai

Cabir - I second that. Don put so many boundaries for her let her be.

Manik - Guys I have never stopped her for anything please understand its just these medical camps they take a toll on health and we all know Nandini that she never bothers about herself.

There in college Nandini was talking to herself.

Nandini - Aiyappa was is Manik so stubborn always Monster kahinka I want to go for this camp at any cost please aiyappa usko samjao. Jab tak who nahi manta I am not gonna have anything. Nandini had eated 2 slices of bread in the morning and that is after that no coffee no tea no food.

It was around 4:30 PM Nandini left for home in an Auto as manik was busy in a meeting .

Around 8 PM Manik reaches home and was calling out for Nandini when she walked out of Kitchen absolutely exhausted. Manik looked at her and could see she was so tired he picked her up and made her sit on her lap.

Manik - Nandini why you look so tired jaan. Bahut kaam kiya. I have told you so many times ki kitchen mei itna kaam mat karo . Pehle college fir kitchen look at you . you look so pale sweetheart.

Nandini (in Tiredness said) who subah se kuch nai khaya na isliye I am exhausted.

Manik - (Gave her a shocking look) What !!! are you mad kyun nai khaya . Itna bhi kya padna Nandini, Chalo you sit I ll bring your food.

Nandini stopped manik from going.

Nandiini - I wont eat Manik

Manik - Y jaan

Nandini - jab tak tum mujhe camp jaane ki permission nai dete.

Manik was taken aback he thought she cant be serious. She seriously went on a hunger strike ohh god!!!!!

Manik - Nandini wat nonsense chup chap khao don't pull all these stunts on me. I cant send you their that's it final period no more discussions I am bringing ur plate and u r sitting with me and eating.

Nandini - Got up from his lap and said no Manik I am not going to eat that's it and she walks upto her room and bangs the door.

Manik didn't know what to do he kept knocking at her door and didn't hear any response. It was 2 AM at night when manik again started knocking her door rather banging her door. There was no response now manik was extremely worried and decided to break open the door.
