haha no, not at all...I expected you'll say that😆

Mishal Raheja previously starred in a show called Laagi Tujhse Lagan on Colors where he played the character of this don/mobster called Dutta...and before that he starred in Anurag Basu's show on Sab TV called "Love Story"...dunno if you've heard of either of these shows...but that's his claim to fame basically😆

I think your previous viewing experience was limited to IPK, right?😆

@BS- I am actually surprised nobody is talking about Manik here. He is totally fine and for once realized the futility of running behind his friends. He wants to deal with this change too and he is asking her to support him while he goes through with it. It's very understated but effective. He will never throw them out but letting them go and do their own thing, mentally removing the shackles and accepting the obvious. Boy did good.

This phase started in FC itself when he told Nandini that he had let Dhruv go if that was what he wanted. and he be doign this for them.

I first saw Mishal Raheja in that episodic series of Encounter (Sony TV) where he played the role of cop. I was really impressed with him and asked about him in the Forum and got to know he was very famous for his role Datta Bhau in Laagi Tujhse Lagan.

Thankoos for the quick history lesson-yes you are right, never heard of either shows:)
My previous TV viewing has been worse, I wasn't into IPK at all, hung around coz of friends being ardent fans! I watched this very sad show called Navya on SP, my intro to IF. That too was a college romance which should hide its face in shame frankly. Anyhoo then it was JLZ and then YHM-so yes very limited exposure-hehe

Anu I wish I understood that song... I may have to read the English translations.

lol you should ask Genie to translate for you...bet she knows the lyrics by heart😛😆

Vasal toh I guess is sort of an Urdu word too but used in Punjabi as well...meaning "meeting with your beloved"

So it's basically the female POV...roughly translating to..."When will the moment of meeting my beloved arrive, even my anklets are tinkling with impatience now"😆

LOL that Encounter episodic series was SO poorly produced but yes Mishal's screen presence stood out as always😆...yes he's very famous for the role of Dutta...it was iconic...

You should check out his MTV telefilm too..."Shaadi Vaadi and all that"...it's available on their site I think.

If you thought he was good in Encounter, he was even better as a mobster😆...but that cop uniform suited him a lot😆...Basically give the guy any intense role, he rocks it.

His MTV movie was cute...it was produced by Nikhil Advani.
