MANAN OS: REWARD

"See me at the terrace , RIGHT NOW!!" he texted

"I can't" I replied

"Am waiting"

I knew there was no point arguing with a stubborn head. So I made an excuse to Navya and asked Mukti to be by her side while I had something IMPORTANT to look after.

"That something important is Manik naa" Navya teased

"Aur kya ho sakta hai?"Mukti supported the mischief

My eyes started gleaming on hearing his name.

Without giving them anymore time to tease me I rushed towards the terrace .

As expected he was there , waiting for me.Before I could say anything He rushed towards me n hugged me tightly.

"Manik" I said with concern in my voice "kya hua?Are u alright?"

"No" he finally parted still holding my arms. " I am not alright" he said faking a frown on his face

I understood why he was upset and a smile appeared on my face.

" Pata hai, its been 5 hours since I last hugged you.5 LONG PAINFUL HOURS. Do u even understand what that means ? 5 hours means 300 minutes ...18000 seconds" He said making a baby like face.

I just cudn't help smiling at his cute statement.

"Tum smile kar rahi ho aur yahan meri jaan jaa rahi hai" he said placing his hand on his heart .

"Arrey arrey, mera baby mujhe miss kar raha tha" I said continuing his tone

"Hmm" he nodded still behaving like a baby who had lost his favorite toy.

He hugged me again , tighter this time.

"I wont let you go anywhere now" He said trying to be stubborn.

I slowly released myself from his embrace and made him sit on the couch.I sat beside him and held his hand.

"Manik" I said politely "Navya is getting married tomorrow .Its a big day for her .Her mom has told me to stay with her all the time till she takes the wedding vows.Manik , it's a tradition in their family. The bride's best friend has to be with her all the time"I said hoping he would understand this time.

"Ye kya baat hui yaar, Shaadi ka ladoo khaye woh Cabir aur Navya and punishment hum love birds ko"

He again made a puppy like face.

"Manik, just one more day" I looked into his eyes

"hmm" he said pursing his lips.He didn't want to agree but he knew there were no options available.

"Achha batao mujhe kyu bulaya" I asked starting afresh

"Wohhh..." he stammered

"Woh kya Manik?" I asked raising my eyebrows

" Woh I want to see your mehandi" he blurted
