Next day nandini got up & rushed to the hospital, she entered the hospital at 7am sharp & went to Dr. Agarwal's cabin directly. As she knocked & entered dr. said "ohh hello dr. Moorthy, gud mrng... how come u r here so early"
Nandini: actually Dr., its my daily habbit to reach at work by 7
D.A: ohh ohk
Nandini: dr. did that patient got up, I mean use hosh aa gya kya??
D.A.: no no, not yet but ya these r his reports, u can go through them... ( handling over a file to file)
Nandini: oh thank u...
D.A.: And I hv prepared a temporary cabin for u... till u r here, u can be comfortable over there.
Nandini: well that's very sweet of u dr., but I don't think I will need it coz I will be leaving India tonight
D.A.: Tonight... Why dr. so fast???? I mean u can at least stay till Manik recovers fully
Nandini: ohh u won't need me 4 that, he will definitely get well soon.
D.A.: but then too... It would hv been nice if u would hv stayed.
Nandini: I hv got to go back, I hv some work... Btw is there any1 else with that patient. (trying to change the topic)
D.A.: yes dr. there r 2 of his frnds with him.
Nandini: ohk sir, I'll get back to u as I m done with these reports..
D.A.: fine dr. take ur time
Nandini left the room & asked a nurse about the ICU. She got the direction & headed towards it. She knew that she could be caught, but more than that she knew she wanted to see him. As she saw him though the glass window, her heart wanted to run to him & hug him, but she saw dhruv & aliya sitting by his side. Just then aliya got up & headed towards the canteen, to get coffee for both of them.
Nandini: (to herself) ayiappa plzz... Kuch esa ho jya bas 5 mins ke liye dhruv bhi kahin challa jye... all I need is to check on Manik myself, just once...plzz...
And just then a nurse entered the room & asked dhruv to get some medicines. Dhruv left the room behind her, leaving manic alone & hence fulfilling nandini's wish. Nandini quickly got into the room & checked on all the machines & reports. Finding everything alright she sat beside Manik.
Nandini: how much rest do u want now??? Get up fast, I m waiting to see u smile... Plz manik get up
Saying this she got up & kissed his forehead. Manik felt her lips touching his face & smelled her hair near him & slowly said, "Nan...Nand...Nandini"
As nandini heard him, she stepped back & saw his eyes still closed. He was trying to open his eyes but now it was time for her to leave, she didn't want him seeing her. All she could do was just to run out of his room. As she exited the room, she saw aliya & dhruv coming towards her, so she hid her faces n waited for them to leave. As aliya & dhruv entered manik's room they found him trying to open his eyes &calling nandini's name. As they saw him dhruv rushed to call the doctor & aliya went towards manik. Manik opened his eyes, got up & sat on the bed looking here & there. "nandini... nandini..."was all he was saying.
Aliya: calm down manik what happened???
Manik: where is she... Tell me where is she??
Aliya: who manik???
Manik:nandini... She was here just now... I felt her
Just then Dr. Agarwal entered with dhruv.
D.A.: hello manik how r u feeling now??
Manik: Dr. where is she... I knw she was here just a min back
D.A.: who was here manik??
Manik: nandini... I could feel her, she kissed my forehead, I could smell her hair near my face... I knw it was her only, she was scolding me for not getting up
D.A.: manik its just ur dream, no one was here other than ur frndzz... calm down
Manik stayed quite but he still knew that it was nandini only whom he felt. Soon cabir, navya , abhi & mukti also joined them in the hospital with flowers, ballons, gifts & cakes. All of them were very happy to get manik back.
Nandini on the other hand went through manik's reports & prepared a detailed prescription for him. He handed them over to dr. Agarwal, informing him that she was leaving. He tried to convince her to meet manik but she refused by some lame reasons & exited his office. As she got out of his cabin, she coincided with 2 small kids, who were carrying a photograph with them. Nandini bent down apologized to them & picked up their photograph.
Nandini: sorry bachcha...
Then the elder one, who was a sweet girl said, " its ohk aunty, it was our fault... we were in a bit hurry". Nandini smiled at her & saw the photograph. She was shocked to see that it was a picture of fab5, navya & abhi all together. Then she asked that girl,
Nandini: beta, what r u 2 doing here alone??
Just then the younger boy said, "arey manik chachu is not well na... so we came to meet him". Nandini was surprised to hear Manik chachu' from him so she asked,
Nandini: and who r all these ppl... (pointing towards the photograph)
The boy very innocently started introducing all of them, "these are manik chachu, mukti masi, abhi masa, mommy(aliya), daddy(dhruv), cabir chachu & navya chachi."
As nandini got to know that he was dhruv & aliya's child, she hugged him tightly & asked "whats ur name??"
"Sameer..." He replied. Then nandini turned towards the girl & asked "and yours??"
"kavya..." she replied with the same innocence. Nandini heard her name & asked,
Nandini: Are u cabir & navya's daughter???
The girl nodded her head in a yes. Nandini kissed her cheek & said,
Nandini: Can both of u do me a favor... Now as u both enter that room. Go & hug all of them tightly one by one and kiss ur manik chachu's cheeks... and say Get well soon... Love u' from my side.
The two kids nodded their heads in a yes & left towards the ICU. Nandini followed them & stood behind the glass window, to peep in. as the two kids entered the room all of them turned towards these little lives & smiled. They ran towards manik & gave him the photograph saying "hello chachu... How r u??? this is a gift from us to u.." . Manik smiled at them & kissed both of them, saying thank u. just then the little boy signaled something to the girl & both of them got up & started hugging everyone in the room. At the end they both hugged Manik, kissed his cheeks & said together "Get well soon... Love u" .Seeing them all the ppl smiled.
Navya: What has happened to the 2 of u... And what was all this??
Kavya: Mumma, there was a sweet aunty out there, she told us to do this on her behalf.
Aliya: aunty... which aunty???
Sameer: I don't know, she just saw this photo & asked us our names... (Innocently)
Kavya: But aliya chachi, I think she knew all of u, thats why she understood whose daughter I am, just by knowing my name... And moreover she had tears in her eyes while talking about all of u..
Manik: kavya come here...( kavya went closer to him & sat near him) kavya how did she look???
Kavya: she had a small height & had round round cheeks also...
Manik: Nandini...
