Prom night
Nandini was in her room..she was getting ready..she wore a beautiful red gown reaching upto her toes..she tied her hair up in french knot..but then she untied it remembering how manik plays with her hair when they spend time together..she puffed up her hair and then curled them lightly in the bottom..she did a smokey eye make up and applied wine coloured lipstick..she opened up her jewellery box and picked up a pair of diamond earrings that shined beautifully...she went to her shoe closet..there were more than 100 pairs of shoes..she picked up a pair of red flats but then she remembered that she is going to the the prom with an Eiffel tower...she left them and picked up a 4inch heel...she thought to herself that now she looked perfect...suddenly her phone rang..she got a text message from manik
"GET DOWN CINDERELLA..MY LEGS ARE HURTING!!"
Nandini blushed..she replied
"SORRY...THIS PRINCESS THOUGHT HER PRINCE WAS WAITING FOR HER AND U KNOW A TRUE PRINCE WAITS FOR AN ETERNITY FOR THEIR PRINCESS.."
manik again replied
"SO U THOUGHT IM UR PRINCE. .NICE...

nandini realised her mistake and blushed a lot.."COMING DOWN...BE READY"
Manik was standing outside. .suddenly what he saw took his breath away..Nandini was looking ethereal..nandini walked upto him...
N:what?
M:nothing...
N:all this time u were nagging me to come down..and now that im here u just standing...dont u want to go?
Manik laughed..
M:one moment..turn around..
Nandini turned and manik went inside his car and brought out a box..He went in front of nandini and took her hand in his..he made her wear a beautiful red corsage..
N:this is beautiful manik!!but there was no need...
M:oh please!!look at ur face..its brightened up like a light bulb..
Nandini blushed..manik opened the car door..nandini sat inside..manik went inside the car..
N:manik I didn't tell u about the color of my dress...how did u know that this red corsage will match my outfit?
M:wo actually...
Manik pulled a box from the back side and gave it to nandini...nandini opened up and saw about 50 corsages..
M:I bought as many colors as I could..so that no matter what color u wear..I have the perfect corsage for u..
N:u r mad manik!!
M:That Im...but it is worth it when u look this beautiful..
He slowly took her hand in his and kissed it..nandini blushed...
M:vaise...i love ur blush..
He poked her cheeks..nandini punched him lightly
They then started for the prom

Manan reached space..the entire building was dazzling with lights and decors..manik opened the door for nandini and extended his palm towards her..nandini held it and stepped outside
N:wow!!!its so beautiful!!
M:it is but not more than...
N:not more than??
M:me obviously...duh!!
Nandini laughed...
M:shall we?? He extended his elbow...nandini silently encircled her arms around his..they went in
As soon as they stepped inside the hall all eyes turned to them...
Guys dropped their jaws looking at nandini and all the girls were burning with jealousy..but the most shocked of them all was fab5 and navshad...manan looked at each other..
N:I guess we both need to have a chat with our friends...
M:ya I guess...ill see u in a bit..
They both went to their friends and made up a story about how they both didn't have a partner and that it was a mutual decision for them to come together..An hour passed like that..manan kept having eye locks from a distance..they wanted to talk but couldn't as none of them could leave their friends alone...soon the dj called all the partners to the dance floor...Everyone went there..nandini was standing alone as navshad were on the dance floor...manik finally got a chance..he went to her and asked her for a dance like a gentleman...The lights were dimmed..it was almost dark...
They were at the dance floor looking at each other intensely...(BG SONG:BEINTEHAAN-RACE2)
there bodies were moving with sync...manik twirled her around...she rolled up in his arms..her back was facing him then..manik held her hand across her stomach..they were both lost into the moment...manik rested his chin on her shoulder and whispered into her ears...
M:so miss.murthy are you enjoying ur evening?
N:as a normal evening yes...as a date... She turned around..her hands were encircled around his neck...his hands were at her waist..they were still moving in the rhythm
M:as a date??
N:boring as hell...
M:what??
N:well yeah..my date is really busy with his friends..
M:so u want little alone time with me??
N:maybe...I mean its my first date since I came to Mumbai...I wanted it to be u know nice...
M:fine..come with me..
N:where?
M:dont ask anything...just come..
He then grabbed her hands and pulled her outside..when the lights turned back on both of their friends were astonished seeing them disappeared...
