Manik Malhothra is the best fictional character I've ever come accross...a complex man with a Golden heart,,and the story of KY2 has always revolved around him!!! He has always portrayed himself to be hard, ruthless and heartless! Where as he has a soft and vulnerable heart!
Manik symbolises the epitome of arrogance, selfdom and pride. But what happens when such a man falls prey into the hands of love, adulation and allegiance??? Manik perfectly depicting the metamorphic process that the character of "Manik Malhothra" is going through. It may surprise & make many wonder why his aloofness, rudeness and arrogance attract the viewer(s) towards him. The invincible Manik insulted, abused and disgraced the his girl Nandini when their story started, still the audience embraced him in-spite of hating him for what he did with the girl, in the past & in the present. It seems even an aggressive Manik is eye-pleasing and charming to the audience. But this Manik still had another soft angle to reveal. Nandini's benevolence and love has altered the character of Manik and has amended him into an adorable "Monster Manik to Simply Manik".

He is a full package.
Whether "Simply Manik" or "MONSTER MANIK", WE LOVE YOU PARTH SAMTHAAN . He is doing a perfect job in the show as "MANIK MALHOTHRA". Kudos to him for his outstanding performance in the show!!!
