Drama: Secret Love - Have You Ever Had Coffee With an Angel?

Part 1- starring Niti Taylor ,Parth Samthan and Utkarsh Gupta

We meet student Nandini [Niti) during her first year at Pune University confessing her love to her Senior Druv (Utkarsh Gupta). After her advance was rejected, She[Nandin] repeats the process, with each request becoming more intense as all four years of their schooling go by.

Our opens with Nandini in her first year of college, chasing Following admring after her Senior Druv (who is running for his life) to loudly declare she likes him. He's out of breath but mumbles "Sorry".

This means she has no chance and Nandini looks crestfallen. Cut to the second year, she tells Woo Bin that she still likes him. This time, he smiles before saying "Sorry".

During the third year, Nandini deliberately bumps into Druv and his girlfriend, she's acts clearly drunk. She tells him again she likes him, she's told him a hundred times! As Druv and his girl watch and pass on,

At Graduation, Druv is taking a picture with some buddies when Nandini grabs his arm and forces herself into the picture. He pulls away, looking angry yet weary. (LOL) She gives him a bouquet and tells him again that she likes him. I really wanted to s

Some time later, Nandini is in a cooking class where the teacher is explaining how to put together a cute (lunch box) for their loved ones (i.e., boyfriends), and She[Nandin] is more than happy to finish hers with a smile and a handwritten note for her Druv when suddenly Nandin gets a text from her co-worker saying that Druv has suddenly been transferred to , and She immediately applies for a job at a tour company. she rushes to her supervisors to beg for her own transfer to Mumbai . She's hired but the moment she arrives, things start to go wrong

She[Nandin] arrives at MumbaiAirport in the middle of a rainstorm, and as she runs to grab a taxi, her suitcase opens at the curb and the contents spill out.

Needless to say, her taxi gets usurped by another passenger, and She[Nandin] is then horrified to see that "her" suitcase is actually a man's containing all kinds of shirts, ties... her suitcase breaks open and someone takes her taxi. Plus she's mixed up her luggage, which means she has no clothes.

When She[Nandin] finally arrives at the Mumbair esort, she's dripping wet and trying to explain to her supervisor why she was late. Of course, Soha is not too thrilled and gives her[Nandin] the usual speech about being a punctual employee, why didn't she start her moving preparations earlier,

But mostly Soha is put out because she had to take up the slack in her[Nandin]'s absence. Ordering She[Nandin] to beg, borrow or steal some clothing and get to work, hre[Nandin] does exactly that, finding a cleaning lady's shirt and slacks conveniently hanging nearby for her to use... while Soha almost trips and falls on her way out. Hmmm, is that She[Nandin]'s invisible Guardian Angel at work?

Joining her co-workers, She[Nandin] is delighted to see her Druv and yells out to him while the other women in the office look on with stunned faces. Druv is even more stunned to see his nemesis standing in front of him dressed as a cleaning lady. She[Nandin] scolds Druv for getting transferred to Mumbai without him telling her,

as Druv still cannot believe she has followed him all the way to Jeju! Soha determines enough chit-chat has transpired between the two, and shoves a huge stack of brochures at She[Nandin] and orders her to make a copy for everyone in the office. It finally dawns on Druv that She[Nandin] is the new employee they've been eagerly expecting. Druv asks if she's the new temp? She smiles and then She[Nandin] answers that by sneezing loudly while dropping a good chunk of the paperwork in her arms sneezes in his face.

That night, again walking in the rain, she falls and starts crying. In flashback we see Druv chewed her out, doesn't she ever think her actions make him look like a fool? But apparently she didn't hear that as she offers to cook, clean and be his friend since he doesn't know anyone here

As we see She[Nandin] trudging in the rain up the street to her new apartment, she trips and falls along the water pond on street while flashing back earlier when Druv pulled her aside and ripped her a new one for coming to Mumbai to continue making his life a living hell.

[Nandin] tries to make amends by stating the obvious - since Druv knows no one on MumbaiIsland, she offers to cook and clean for him. Druv rejects that offer, saying he'd rather not know anyone while staying in Mumbai... including her.

Back in the present, She[Nandin] starts crying while cursing out Druv for being so rotten, but picks herself up off the ground and continues up the steps to her new apartment...

... which looks nothing like the pictures she was sent by the rental agency. Cursing her bad luck again, She[Nandin] cleans up enough to where she can finally sleep on a stack of cardboard left over by the previous tenant.

As She[Nandin] drifts off to sleep, she prays that Druv can finally see her in a new light, because she wants a love that she will never forget until death.and cherish whole life.

The rain continues pounding her apartment, as She[Nandin] tosses and turns in fitful sleep. The events of the day roll around in her brain, as suddenly she thrusts her fist into the air.

All of a sudden, bright lights flood her apartment and the premises start shaking like the island is having an earthquake.

Suddenly there is light coming from outside. She stirs, barely opening her eyes as things inside her room start to shake and rattle. She glances around and sits up when something comes shooting into her room, bounces off the walls and lands. Falling on ground

The light fades and a man flies in, bouncing off the walls until he comes to a full stop on the floor. She[Nandin] is still trying to figure out what is going on, as we see this creature crouching behind a bookcase, obviously naked as a jaybird.

As this person stands up (all the while showing off his perfectly toned body), She[Nandin] stares at him from head to toe... Rubbing her eyes, she looks closer, it's a naked man bent down in the Terminator pose. As her eyes reach his face, he turns and smiles. He stands upright, her eyes travel from his smiling face and then realizing he has no clothes on, starts screaming at the top of her lungs.

Is she screaming out of fear or out of excitement? Her expression tells me it's the latter. And disaster

The Guy attempts to keep She[Nandin] from screaming her lungs out, but she returns the favor with a right-hand punch to his face. He tries to cover himself and rushes forward to stop her screaming when she punches him in the eye.

Cut to both of them sitting in front of a police officer on the ground office of area where she moved as people gather with noice and assume to be a buglar or thief police came , trying to explain. He (sporting a black eye) claims he's not a pervert, he has a special relationship with her that can't be separated. She quickly claims she's never seen him before and begs the cop not to believe him.

Resuming at the local and police , The Guy attempts to explain the situation to the officer taking down the report. The officer just wants to know why he showed up at her [Nandin]'s house at mid night , as The Guy explains again that the two of them have a special relationship' and they cannot be separated.as she is new here and he had to help her

She[Nandin] protests, saying she's never seen The Guy before in her life, but The Guy starts rattling off details of She[Nandin]'s life that no one would know other than herself. He rattles off her name, birthdate, and other stats.

She excitedly says he's right, asking how he knows? Snapping out of it, She[Nandin] is amazed that The Guy knows all about her, but that could only mean one thing...The Guy must be a stalker!

He smoothly calls her name, 'Nandini lets forget what happen and not make a fool out of people brains and lets go home''he grabs her hands and says they 'shouldn't bother the police much for their little issue''(implying they're lovers who had a fight).

The cop smile and asks his name. He's 'Michael''[Male angel] he said with a smile and freeze the officer with a thnking bulb on him

The police officer looks at The Guy with a raised eyebrow, as in The Guy turn to begs her [Nandin] to not act that way in front of the busy department and cause more trouble. The light bulb finally goes off over the officer's head, and he asks for The Guy's name so he can verify his identity.

The Guy leans over and states his name as Manik Michael (loosely translates to "Male Angel"). As the officer plugs that information verifying his passport and Id Card , Manik gives him a hearty wink (with sparkly effects and twinkly music), and The Guy's identity is verified!

The officer admonishes Her [Nandin] for bringing a "lover's quarrel" into a public and police and dismisses the two of them, until She[Nandin] stands up to protest 'office he...''and is met with a wink from Manik, virtually shutting her up by giving her a case of laryngitis.

Manik apologises to the office and drags Her [Nandin] out of the room all the while she is still trying to talk.but no voice came

Outside the station, Manik stands nonchalantly (while showing off that perfect PPL clothing from AD HOC), and decides a black eye isn't a good fashion statement.He places his hand over his eye and the bruising disappears. Putting his hand over the injury, his face suddenly turns back to normal.

He looks around and said to himself ''these humans are seriously tiring'' and than just walk in air and diappear...

She[Nandin] attempts to sneak out of the building unseen by Manik,.Carefully she sneaks out behind him, runs to her floor very fast and locks all the doors.way back to her rom While she is in her room Manik slowly walk yawnng and shaking his head with his hands in pocket .

Once he is outside her room as Manik mutters to himself that 'She[Nandin] is quite more of trouble than he initially thought.''He look up and said''dude have mercy and finish the thing soon''

Returning home, She[Nandin] runs to her patio doors to ensure they are locked, but then turns around to see

When she turns, he's standing in front of her Smirking 'with killer looks he announces taking a step closer ' that they should finish this quickly. '

She looks up in shock, begging for mercy from her visitor. Manik reminds her frustately that he hasn't been brought back to Earth to torture her or kill her, although he really wants to shut her up somehow.

Manik gets down on his knee near her and continue 'Nandini only child of parents live alone ,now in Mumbai knowing no one and heart of the matter wish ,She[Nandin]'s fervent wishs to end up with some guy named Druv.

Manik wonders loudy ' why She[Nandin] would waste a perfectly good wish on something like so stupid, when he can most definitely ensure that She[Nandin] could win the lottery instead.s''he turn to her with Queston look''should he help her to win treasure or lottery as her wish''

She[Nandin] asks 'who are you'',

when he crouches standing back on feet and explains that he's an angel. 'Me angel he stand straight and said'' presenting myself as Angel No. 2015''just arrived from Heaven 'he raise his one hand upward

i. She[Nandin] thinks she's finally gone sick in head [whacko ] and staggers away from Manik, as Manik shakes his head muttering''humansare seriously... '

and unfold his Angel Wings for positive proof that he's an angel, he continued 'all the while crabbing that you humans always need some sort of visual proof before accepting the facts.so irritating is for an Angel like me''

Manik ''Are you satisfied NOW, Puny Human?!?

Holy moly! That vision is too much for her [Nandin] and she faints dead away.

Next Day

The day after, Manik and Nandin] venture out for a walk, all the while Nandin] still wanting concrete proof that Manik is truly an angel. Manik explains to her for the twentieth time that if a human holds a clenched fist in the air during a unfaithfull day of life and a heartly fervent wish, that's when an angel comes down to help grant that wish.

And to add insult to injury, Manik reminds 'Nandin] that she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer either, pulling out an example that where need she doest use her question mind when its urgent as in'' she forged her parents' signature on a low-scoring test paper '. She[Nandin] still is not convinced Manik is truly an angel, since she could have been hallucinating when he whipped out his wings the night before. Or is he a magician? Manik''Yeah, that's the ticket! Human usually use so stupid''

'He tells her that as long as he doesn't lie, nothing in the human world can harm him.''

Manik has had enough of her doubts so he walks into traffic street while car rushing (as a cars speeds towards him. Sure enough, all the car runs right through him with no damage to him at all.He stand at other end of road as no one notice him and he pass as air in between except nandini who saw it with a awestruck expression She[Nandin] is stunned and runs over, pawing him up and down to check if he's hurt.

Manik states'' that just as long as he does not tell a lie while standing on Earth, there's nothing that could harm him. He will not shed a drop of blood if injured. So hopefully this last example finally shows her [Nandin] that he is truly an angel, because if not... he is really going to kill her now''. (Well, I can totally understand why she doubts you're an angel since your behaviour is far from angelic. That's one hell of an angel.)

Returning to her [Nandin]'s workplace, she asks that if angels can grant wishes and stuff, 'why can't Manik just make Druv fall in love with her? '

Manik explains it's not as stupid or cut-and-dried as that;to do so the only thing he can help her with is make Druv see her for the woman she is. There are rules Manik has to follow such as not messing with a human's emotions, darnit!its so slow '

That still not got it She asking if 'Manik could change her into the most beautiful woman in the world, since her Druv likes really pretty girls''. Manik sniffs and reminds 'her [Nandin] that he can't lie, remember? (*snort*) She[Nandin] then asks if'' he can arrange for her and Druv to be stranded on a deserted island together so that the only girl he sees is herself?''

Manik says loudly NO WAY'', since he cannot put a human in mortal danger like that. What if Druv goes crazy and decided to drown himself or something worse? Manik would be sent to Hell, so no way he's going to help with that and go to hilarious hell. He gave a expression and said''He really hates HELL!''

She[Nandin] then demands what Manik will do now, as for now

Manik looks on said''u humans are seriously...''

He says he's going to transform her into a woman that Druv will take notice over... starting with her wardrobe. Manik states that women in loose clothing are not as attractive as those in more form-fitting duds, so with a wink and a finger-snap He should transform her in something good and with a wave: her hair is down, her face glowing and her clothing changed (because men don't like loose, flowing stuff)., She[Nandin] is suddenly dressed more stylishly and she totally approves of the new clothing.

Finally convinced that Manik is truly an angel, She's amazed but then wonders she snaps back to reality and cover her chest with both hands and is appalled ask'' if Manik viewed her naked body as he dressed her did he.''

He stammers, Manik thinks twice about answering gives a tiny laugh and walkaway with a smirk on his face.

Meanwhile, back at the travel agency, Manik has presented himself as the other new employee at the firm. The other female workers hover close to him and are falling all over themselves to make him comfortable. While praising his perfect features She[Nandin] complains to hersekf that she had to fall to her knees to get her job, while Angel Boy just waltzes in and gets his in a snap? (No pun intended, I'm sure.)

But while everyone is distracted fawning over Manik, She[Nandin] takes the opportunity to sneak over to Druv and drop off a doshirak for his lunch today. Druv brushes her off by saying he already made lunch plans and she should just take it away. She[Nandin] is still dense enough to reiterate that she wants him to eat healthy every day since he's living on his own.

Druv has had enough and tells She[Nandin] she is being rather childish, because he's not that much of a simple man to eat a simple meal like the one she's prepared. She[Nandin] slowly takes that in... and Manik just looks pained.as she receive looks from female employees are enchanted while with him gives dirty looks.to her He watches as she allows herself to be humiliated by Druv and have a thoughtful look for his mission just , then

The Agency Boss comes in to tell Druv that a Theme and locaton for outdoor shoot already finalise and needs some supervision and that Druv should take care of it. Manik seizes this opportunity to tag along,with him excuses as to learnunder him and then invites She[Nandin] as the other newbie at the agency as well to accompany them to.

They take off in Druv's car, with her [Nandin] riding next to him and with Manik in the back seat. He motions to her [Nandin] to engage Druv in some conversation, but she has a better idea and offers Druv a cold drink. Of course, the can is all shaken up from the ride and the cola explodes onto Druv's front... and eyes!

As Druv attempts to drive blinded by the fizzy sugar water, Manik guides the car to a safe stop with a click , as She[Nandin] attempts to clean the cola off of Druv's coat . Druv gives up and orders them both back into the car, but Manik winks the auto into not starting again. Wondering if cola got into the ignition (*snerk*), Druv tries calling for company , but Manik winks his phone into not working as well.

Nandin] states she doesn't have a new phone yet, and Manik also claims he left his phone at the agency. On the pretext of giving the two mortals some private time alone, Manik volunteers to get help instead of just waiting around. He tries to give her time alone with Woo Bin but she doesn't get it. She[Nandin] suddenly shouts that she'll go get instead since it was all her doing that got them in that position anyway.

Manik tries to get her to stay, but she runs off towards the next town like her hair's on fire. Manik sighs to himself and prays to the heavens that he will eventually be able to return home, soon right[asking ]even after all he's going through for that dense woman.who is so complicated herself...

Manik -Surely She[Nandin]!Run like the wind,''

He watchs her run bare foot with heels in hand so wave and ger rid off allpubbles stones in her way

Returning home, Nandin looks worse with look and total tired while , with Manik trailing right behind her, berating her for losing out on a great chance to be alone with Druv. She[Nandin] tells him to give it a rest since she's exhausted already and can argue later

. Manik continues to be amazed that she's such a numb skull, but then turns his attention to the mess that is her new apartment and orders She[Nandin] to clean up the place so he can get some peace in sleep. (Wait, as her Guardian Angel, can't you help out with a wink or finger-snap to tidy up the house for her? Typical male... no matter how angelic he may look. *hmpf*)

She[Nandin] protests that she's not letting him stay in the same room with her since it's too scary, but He demands she better clean her place son , and reminds her that 'there's no way an angel like him would EVER be interested in such a dummy like her''. And with a grup look and another snap of his fingers, a bed fit for an angel suddenly appears in the middle of the room.

As Manik gets ready to clean up for bed, She[Nandin] runs after him but trips over her own feet and falls into the bookcase which was along one wall of the apartment. It starts falling over her but Manik snaps it into stopping mid-air, while She crouches underneath.

This gives Manik ample opportunity to correct some of ways she treat him She should respect him as he his her savior , He demands she act submissive (she's too strong) but when she acts cute, he wants to smack her and pinches her cheeks . Reminding her that there's no way she could ever trick him since he's older than dirt. He was there when the Big Bang occurred, remember?okay

Manik goes on to say there is no way they could ever be compatible, so she needs to start obeying his every word, starting with her speech patterns should improve to.

She[Nandin] finally gets the hint and politely asks Manik to help her get away from the falling bookcase. He extends his hand, and pulls her out just as the bookcase crashes to the floor.

She[Nandin] ends up grasping onto Manik as the dust settles from the bookcase, and after one of those stare into each other's eyes moments,' he pushes her away and re-orders her to start cleaning up the apartment lest his purity gets contaminated by all the dirt in the house (bwahahahaha!). With another snap of a finger, Manik conjours cleaning supplies into her hands while he lounges comfortably on the bed watching her do so...

With her cleaning expedition finally at an end, She[Nandin] pushes a mattress up against the bookcase dividing Manik's bed and collapses in a sweaty heap. Manik channels his inner self and is still bitching about all the dust still covering the apartment. She[Nandin] doesn't give a care, and falls asleep snoring in her fancy Manik-appointed outfit.

Manik continues to mutter that She[Nandin] and him are SO not compatible with each other, and decides to wander outside onto the porch to stare at the Mumba skyline. He looks up to the sky with a pained expression and sprouts his wings again. But in attempting to take off, his wings suddenly disappear, leaving Manik to ask the heavens if his overlords are being a bit too harsh on him. He complains to the Big Guy if he has to stay until Woo Bin falls for that girl, he'll be stuck with her until she's an old lady. LOL By the time She[Nandin] finally gets her wish granted, he'll be stuck on Earth until she's dead! For sure...

Manik realizes this may all be a conspiracy by Angel No. 2001 to keep him down on Earth because both of them are in line to be the next Chief of Angels, and Manik takes offense with that revelation. For all his complaining, though, Manik gets put back in his place by a few bolts of lightning from the heavens that come perilously close to hitting his manly vision . Ha! He Suitably shrinking from view, he slinks back into compliance state with a cute face and cry face stroming his foot and cursing his fate as he is surely struck now...

The next day, Manik and She[Nandin] arrive at the agency together just as Druv is entering the elevators. Druv gives them both the side-eye and asks if they live in the same neighborhood. She[Nandin] says no, while Manik says yes (remember, as an angel, he can't lie). Manik goes on to explain that he and She[Nandin] are living together instead. That raises one of Druv's eyebrows, but Manik further explains that he's merely renting a room in She[Nandin]'s house, making them neighbors... and hopefully Druv won't read anything dirty into that statement. Druv's all like "Read what?"as its nothing to do with him nor did he care for...

All three get onto the elevator, but Manik remembers he forgot the coffee and allows her [Nandin] and Druv to ride up without him. To cut the tension with a knife, as She[Nandin] asks Druv if he was able to return home safely after the whole car breakdown and situation occur she apologise ..for the day prior.

Instead, Druv wants to know more about her [Nandin]'s living arrangements with Manik. She[Nandin] explains that it just ended up like that, but Druv tells her he's not too thrilled to hear having a guy living so close to her [Nandin]. And did she ever think about her parents if they heard that news?

She[Nandin] steps back and asks if Druv is actually concerned for her well-being, but before he could answer, we get another Snap Up from Manik, which causes the elevator to stop dead in its tracks between floors.

Another snap twist from Manik tilts the elevator again and throws She[Nandin] and Druv into each other's arms for safety, but this time Druv doesn't recoil in horror. A crowd gathers outside watching the maintenance men attempt to open the doors, as Manik stands back commenting that something has to happen between those two by now " he's a human male after all.

One last snap from Manik, and the doors suddenly open for everyone to see Druv standing on her [Nandin]'s back, trying to escape through the elevator's ceiling. Manik can only shake his head in disgust and more work..

But that doesn't keep Manik from yelling at She[Nandin] over why she would do something so stupid " why not reverse the roles in the elevator, huh? Why didn't she play the Damsel in Distress Card and faint in his arms, huh? And what kind of a man is Druv to stand on a lady's back, huh? Anyway, Manik is totally fed up and since she's going nowhere with his Angel Help, tells She[Nandin] to retract her wish once and for all.

She[Nandin] explains that Druv hurt his back playing foot in university, so she was just being a good little soldier by helping him out... all the while trying to put pain patches on her back. Apparently, Manik has never seen such an item before and his curiosity is peaked. Peaked enough to where he investigates how sticky and smelly the patches are, and ends up getting one stuck on his face. Hilarity ensues as the Soha wanders by to hear the tail end of their conversation with a stunned look on her face.

The employees return to the office to overhear that there's a mix-up on a tour they arranged for the important client of company that with hs family . Apparently with Druv's phone off all day yesterday, and the Boss e-mail landing in Druv's spam folder, he was unaware that the Investor Clients flight was arriving sooner.

Like NOW, since he's waiting at the airport for his ride to back .Druv starts panicking while making a call (since another snap from Manik rendered all the landlines useless), and the Supervisor looks close to collapsing when another employee rushes in to tell him all the cars in their parking lot have flat tires.

Meanwhile, Nandin is on a tour bus returning to the airport with some other Artist to see off for shoot with all of them singing and clapping , when the music stops. Manik's voice comes over the loudspeaker instead, telling her to go find the Client Mr Dawan , his wife and their six-year-old daughter ASAP, or Druv will lose his job over this snafu.

The tour bus arrives at the airport, and with a hearty 'Goodluck''and Bye'' from the People, She[Nandin] runs into the terminal. Not seeing the family right off the bat, at the top of her lungs, she yells out "MISTER CABIR DAWAN And yells it again, as the airport patrons point and stare. She[Nandin] attempts yelling a third time, but fortunately Mister Dawan and family are standing right next to her complaining that they're late in picking them up and his daughter is famished.

Back at the office, Druv paces nervously while Manik hangs back leaning on wall and basically rubs salt, peroxide and hot sauce into the open wound by translating from Tamil all that went wrong with

Their [Investor]arrival till now (because angels can speak any language, remember?).as inside the room Boss and investor are talking Manik''He thought it's a loss to invest in our company and without presentation or and meeting he is going to answer now as he is disappointed with their Profesionalism and service 'manik said looking hang but as no one notice he smileand continues''his daughter is not well and not eating too...poor us we will strave to soon''

As Manik continues detailing Druv's screw-up and loss, She[Nandin] arrives with a tray containing a bowl of soup and the lunch box she was planning on giving Druv for his lunch... but thinks it would be best served to President s daughter instead. Thrusting the tray into Druv's hands, she pushes him to enter the conference room where the family is seated.

Druv serves the lunch to President's daughter, she's looks at it gloomly but as she saw the lunch box with faces on sandwich and cute expression she all happy and stuff it to taste and smile as she like Her father is relived and ask her to eat all happy himself, and it looks like for Druv it saved the day.

Everyone looks relieved, and Manik actually praises her [Nandin] for putting something together that didn't require his angel help. But as he walks away, She[Nandin] raises her fist to hit him... as Manik reminds her he also has eyes in the back of his head.too *hee*

He lets slip he's living with Nandini, which, for some reason, Druv's doesn't like. Manik caused problem at work which when Nandini fixes so for thanking her Druv asks her out for dinner. Manik cheer her up for success and ask look pretties to flaunt .Instead she thanks him for doing and hug him excitedly and move quickly and walk away ...for the first time he froze and said''Why play with an angel like him''

Later that night, Manik is lounging on his bed watching a Fab 5 music video on television, wondering how humans could act like that (but me thinks he didn'th protest it too much since he's truly enjoying himself). She[Nandin] changes into what she thinks is a nice dress, but Manik tells her that her outfit was rather trendy - during the 50s if she was born in...

Next Angel magic

Another snap and twinkly music is called for, and She[Nandin] magically changes into a more sophisticated outfit and accessories. She[Nandin] finally thanks Manik for all the help he's given a lot of time and help to her.''
