Because he is in denial. It's like whenever he sees Manik, he is reminded of what happened to his sister. He feels Manik has it all when his sister was snatched from him. He is prejudiced against Manik for his own reasons. Imagine a guy who probably loved his sister like crazy and gets to hear that he will never meet her because she died because of Manik. yet the more he gets involved in their life , the contradictions come. I feel his revenge saga though half-baked is still strong enough motive for his crazy ass behaviour . Any of the fab5 members would do the same.
Personally what annoys me is his acting, Jotwani goes OTT even with simple lines and eats up words. He is better off when he being normal. Eventually it does seem they might turn him around- hence he gets to interact with other characters, has a moral bone. With Alya and Cabir - he heard their struggle and saw it , easier to sympathize. With Manik, Nandu will have to bring out a solid proof to make him realize his wrong assumption.
