Chapter 15:

Nandini came down in the parking area n came near abhi n said
N: chale?
A: haa but I ll drive.
Nandini gave the keys to abhi n said
N: all yours. Let's go!

In car:
A: ek baat puchu tujhe babu?
N: tujhe kabse permission chahiye..
Nandini playfully hit on abhi's forehead.
N: puch na!
A: when I came in your cabin u were thinking about Manik na??
Nandini was quiet.
A: I m sorry Nandini if i hurted you.
N: are nhi abhi. It's ok. Btw yeah I was thinking about that idiot only. But how did u come to know?
A: aise hi nhi mai tera best friend ban Gaya. Dil se tujhe apni friend maanta hu. I understand u. Tere jaisa nhi! Huhhh!
N: acha Maine ky kiya?
A: acha betaaa. Tune Mujhe kal good morning b nhi kaha!
N: what..?? Like seriously abhi!
Abhi laughed n said
A: okay sorry. Lo mera ghar aagya. Chal bye.
Abhi went out of the car n Nandini came at drivers seat n said bye to abhi n left.

Manik after singing also left from office n came back to his place.
Manik entered his house. There was darkness. He switched on the lights n went inside his room n changed his clothes n came in the kitchen. He removed the food from the fridge n microwaved the food n went in the hall, sat on the couch n started eating his food.
His phone rang...
M: hi aryaman
Aryaman was in his band. Both of them were the singers.
Ar: ha Manik sun na.
M: bol na bro.
Ar : actually I was tensed for tomorrow's performance bro.
M: aryaman u have called me to tell this????
Ar: hmmm... I guess yes
M: tu mil Mujhe kal I ll show u. Ab chill kar n so ja.
Manik kept the phone n said to himself
"Manik Malhotra, a big day for u tomorrow. Ab so Jao."
He lied on the bed n suddenly he woke up n said :" what if Nandini also come to know about me...?? Yaar Manik of course use to pata chalinga hi. But vo Raghav k saath settle ho gyi hungi. Chal ab so jaa"
Manik then slept.

Here Nandini was arranging her bed when ams came to her n said
A: ayo nandu tu ab tak soyi nhi
N: ams mai bas sone ja rahi thi.
A: acha subha apne appa se baat karlena vo puch rahe the tere baare me.
N: ok ams. Gud nyt.
A: good night nandu.
Ams left the room n Nandini again in the balcony n was staring at the stars.
She suddenly saw a falling star.
She immediately prayed.
"Manik Mujhe mil jaye aiyappa. "
After praying she switched off the lights n went to bed.

Next morning:
It was a big day of Manik. Unaware of meeting Nandini he rushed to his office.
M: hello mrs d'souza
D: hi Manik. Manik Malhotra on time today. Good
M: Mrs d'souza it's a big day for me na.
D: yes son! Best of luck.
Manik never failed to greet Mrs d'souza. He respected her a lot.
Manik went in recording room for practising.

Nandini was also ready to go to her office. As she came out she saw Abhimanyu standing there.
N: hii abhi good morning. Aj yaha kaise?
A: socha kal tumne Mujhe drop kiya to mai abhi tumhe lene aajau.
N: acha.. Chalo lets go then.
A: yup chalo.
Abhi n Nandini left for office.
They reached the office n saw full chaos.
Whole office was decorated with light blue n white balloons.
All set ups were done.
N: omg! So much decorations.
A: yeah. Evrthing blue n white. Even our dress code is blue n white.
N: really??
A: tumne invite nhi padha ky..it was written over there.
N: tumne Mujhe padhne ka diya.. Khud ne sab bata diya tha.
Abhi put his hand behind his hair n said
A: are haa.. Mai Bhul Gaya tha.
Nandini smiled.

Aryaman came to Manik n said
Ar: all set bro?
M: yeah. Tu bata
Ar: Bhai Mujhe to bht Dar lagra.
M: are tu q itta tension lera. Dekh hm Hindi songs gaate. Fir b ye angrez hmre songs par marte. Agar kuch galat hua b to ky hua inhe thodi na samjhega.
Ar: are haa bro.
M: hmm.. Now let me practice.
Aryaman left Manik alone.

In the evening:

Nandini was at her home for getting ready.
She was wearing a beautiful blue n white shaded gown.
Her hairs were open n were assembled on one side. She was wearing one sided earring in her right ear n also an elegant diamond necklace which her dad has gifted her. The necklace was small yet beautiful. N in her hand she was wearing the bracelet which Manik has gifted her. She always wear that bracelet on special occasions.
She called abhi
N: hi abhi. Can u plzz come n pick me. Actually Ams said k abhi k saath
Jao.
A: ha no problem jaan. Mai aata hu. Bye
N: bye.


Manik was looking handsome n marvellous. He was wearing blue shirt with white blazer n white pants. It was tuxedo n a blue bow on it!
Manik stood in front of the mirror n said to himself: aahhh! Ready ho ja Manik. U have to do it today. Stay calm. I think after the program I should talk to Cabir. Hmm... Now let's c what happens!"

Manik took his guitar n came out. N took his bike n went to the destination.
Just then he realised that the place where he reached was Nandini's dream company.
He recalled all the moments n specially Nandini's diary.
He smiled n went in. He admired the beautiful decorations n saw aryaman was waiting for him.
Aryaman came n hugged Manik.
M: chill bro!

Aryaman n Manik was looking over the place.
While here abhi reached Nandini's place n Nandini was standing out of the house. She sat in the car n they drove to the place.
In car:
A: Nandini u r looking beautiful.
N: ty abhi n u r also looking handsome.
A: btw Nandini ye bracelet bht sundar h...
N: ty. Manik ne gift diya tha Mujhe.
Nandini said in a low voice.
Abhi realised that Nandini was sad so he said
A: party me dinner bht acha rakha hitler ne.
Nandini hit hard on abhi's back n said
N: shut up!
A: ouchhh..
Both started to laugh.
Finally abhi n Nandini reached the place n they went inside.
But as soon as Nandini went in she felt something different n she stopped.
A: ky hua jaan?
But Nandini didn't reply.
Abhi again asked
A: Nandini...
N: hmm kuch nhi.

Here Manik also felt something. Like it was an amazing feeling.
Manik to himself
Ky hora h ye? Aisa alag feel hua Mujhe abhi. Whatever. Concentrate Manik.

A: chalo Nandini.
N: haa chalo.

Nandini came inside but she was standing on other side of the hall n Manik was standing on other side.

Anchor: And finally the performance for whom every was waiting is about to start. So plzz put ur hands together for the music band.

The setup was done on the stage n everyone took their position xcept Manik. So all the lights were switched off n Manik then came on the stage. It was dark.
Then first light came on the drummer then on keyboard player n then on aryaman.
Main focus light was about to switch on!
Everyone was clapping very loudly!
