Manik had almost finished his mission.The medicine was almost in Nandini's mouth,and she was totally unconscious,until this very second,when she actually felt the essence of the medicine perfectly in her mouth.
Nandini's eyes were opened wide.It was a 'WTH' reaction for her.Obviously,it would have been for anybody.Where was she ? What was she doing here ? Is she sleeping here ? Was she unconscious or did something happen ? And most of all what the...what was MANIK MALHOTRA doing here ? Sitting beside her,truly close,touching her face,and making her dissolve the medicine...what was this going on ?!
It was hard to remember what happened last to her !!
She quickly sat up,and was sitting there now,though she had dissolved the medicine,it was a little spilled on her mouth.
"What...wha..tt...what...are YOU doing here in the whole heck ?" Nandini noticed Cabir now.
Manik absolutely did not know what to answer.He was shocked,even though he knew that she would wake up,he did not know,that how could she wake up this early ? He was speechless.He looked at cabir in the hope,that he would be giving a reply to Nandini,but NO,he did not say anything.The most awkward situation in his life probably
"woh...i mean..ki...woh...hum...tum..baarish...road...fever...cabir..." He looked at Cabir again,stammering,and truly feeling 'helpless'
"kya Manik...what are you saying SAY it clearly,so that I can understand"Nandini asked.
"dekho...its not like anyth"He was stopped.
"Nandini,you are at my place right now !"Finally Cabir dared to say something.
Fab 5 was known for their bullying,and strength,but they had never ever brought a girl in any member's house ever.But sometimes,you just have unexpected turns in life,you can never imagine that they can happen.
"Okay,so I am at Cabir's place,but who brought me here...why am i here ?"Still muddled.
"Nandini shanti rakho...hum sab batate hain"Cabir tried to make a little peace for her.
"ab bas...mein laayo hun tumhe yahan...okay ? any probs ? i don't think you should be having..right ? cos i was the one who carried you to my car...because you had almost fainted...and you know tum kitni moti ho ? no one can imagine you like this !" It was clear that it was the END of manik's patience level.He said,everything in one go,not leaving any moment for Nandini to speak again,but then he stopped for a moment and...
"What the...mein...aur moti...? tumhe mein kya dikhayi deti hun ? what do i look like to you ? a dinosaur...? i never knew you'd say such a thing ? No,actually I knew,too obvious...kisne bola tha tumhe..who had told you to lift me up ? Gosh...did you lift me and...oh no... have you ever imagined mujhe kitna bura lagega...how bad am i gonna feel,if you will hold me ? you never imagined this right ?"It was time for her to say something now probably.
"what ? what did you just say ? you are gonna feel bad that I had lifted you up ? you dunno,but girls die for this...!"They did die for this,every girl wanted Manik to do this."ek toh bhalayi ka zamaana hi nahi raha hai...first of all i help you,then you,on your own,are saying ridiculous things about me ?! now,i know,how you feel about me in your mind"
"yeah this is how i do feel about you,but may i know how in the heck it matters to you Mr.Manik ?"
It shouldn't have.Shouldn't.Then why ? Was it a misunderstanding ? No,it shouldn't have been one,then how come did he say this ?
Nothing short of misery for a person,that too one of the most popular guy in the whole college.
Manik had absolutely no words,it was worse than the last time.Truly.He wished that it won't have had been.The problem would have simply solved if he had left her there alone.Why was she mattering him even at that very moment ? But for every problem,there is a "bhai".
"yaar,what the heck are you guys fighting upon ? Nandini,i dunno and i don't wanna know about how you feel,and Manik I dunno how you ended up with this,but Nandini,he genuinely cared for you and brought you here ... right Manik ?"Teasing mode ON.Check ?
"what did you say...no not at all...i don't care for her...yeh toh bad humanity ke liye tha...just because i knew ... i would have been the ultimate culprit if i won't have brought here"
"oh..so i get to know why you brought me here...because you would have been the culprit if anything happened to me right ?"Nandini asked in curiousity.
"yeah.right.absolutely.how can you ever imagine anything else ? oh i know nandini likes me,she has got attracted from this hot-mess am i wrong ?"
Arggghhh...how could he say this ? and...why in the hell did she say that ? oh my gosh...she was truly gonna die !
"stop it guys,say sorry to each other now"Cabir tried to stop the fight.
"Do I look like a kid to you Cabir ?"
"yeah me as well ? we are not kindergarten students now ! i am not gonna aplogise"

"accha theek hai yaar...nandini,its already past two now,you can sleep here,i and manik will sleep next room...kay ? drink the medicine if you feel bad again...i am saying it just for your sake kay ? not mine !"
Nandini didn't say anything,and both boys left.

They were both settled now,and were in the same room.
