Nandini Murthy was an introvert girl.She was not like other girls,who used to be trying to seduce boys.It was an accidental case,that she was in a place like SPACE.The main reason to be there was her brother,whose treatment took most of the money earned by her grandmother,and at a place like SPACE,where she was getting a scholarship,she couldn't get a chance to reject it,but who knew how much she had to suffer.
Manik and Nandini were rivals,since the day she entered in the college.Even though,Manik had stopped bullying her,she always used to try getting rid of him in some or the other way.
That day,23 August 2014,when Manik had his first gaze towards Nandini in the rain,he was surprised,he had never seen her like this.He had never shown interest in her,before like this,but sometimes,rain can do a special magic over a person.
He went to her,slowly,waiting for her to see him,before he reaches to her,but NO,she was the great girl,who never showed any interest in boys.
"Hey."Manik,tried to talk to her.
Nandini,didn't reply.
"you...what are you doing here ?"
"None of your business"She said,still not looking at him for one time,but recognizing the voice.
"ARE YOU gonna REPLY ME ?"He took both of Nandini's shoulders and squeezed them,and the umbrella in Nandini's hands fell down.
And now,both of them were literally,getting wet.
"acch..hh.aa,i am waiting for my cha...aa..c.hi"She stammered.
Manik was not less than a ghost in her life,that is why she prevented going towards him,and never actually tried to get provoked by his dangerous stunts.She was very careful with him every time,but sometimes,she couldn't endure her pain.
"why is THE GREAT NANDINI MURTHY afraid of her GREAT MONSTER MANIK now ?"
She didn't reply,she was already shivering,and was getting very cold.But that wasn't the only reason,she was even afraid of Manik,and goosebumps used to come throughout her body,whenever she used to talk to him.
Manik suddenly felt Nandini's skin,his devil face turned into a sympathetic look.
"Nandini..are you fine"He was generous this time,but Nandini couldn't realize this.
"bas..you go,i will be fine"Her speech showed,how sick she felt from the inside.
"you need to come in my car...abhi"He looked at her,up to down.
"I will not come in y..o..ou..u..rrr car at all"
"I am not asking you,I am telling you to be there."He walked away,without getting a reply from her.
But Nandini didn't come.She was still like a pole.She bent a little to take her umbrella,but fell down,and the water splashed,and made a big noise.
Manik could hear her,he turned himself 180 degree,and saw her.
She was almost gonna faint until he came towards her,and gave his hand,but how in the whole heck could she accept it ?
She still did not think of Manik as a person who could help someone,and who has a good side.You know like the people say,"The first impression is the last impression".The same case was with Nandini,what she thought was is,that if Manik will give her his hand,then he will surely put her down.She used to get nightmares about these sort of things.
