No, I prefer the way they approached it in the story.
A Manik so easily being able to show regret wouldn't BE a Manik...the fact that it took him alll this time to ADMIT to his love for her and then accept and show remorse for the things he did/said to her...that is why those scenes had value.
If he had accepted it so easily in an earlier track, it would have changed his character too soon...Manik never admits to anything easily...least of all the things he does in a rude mannerđ
And that time his reasons for lashing out at Nandu were different...he was clearly not knowing how to deal with the obsession that had taken over.
