Both Manik and Nandini were shocked when DJ made Nandini Manik's manager and now everything depended on the Nandini's decision... Nandini looked at Manik for sometime and then looked at DJ and said "I am ready for this responsibility DJ.." leaving Manik more shocked... "What are you crazy?" Manik asked her... "you've no idea Manik what crazy means.." Nandini said with a smile.. She turned towards DJ and said "Can I take up this responsibility from tomorrow?" DJ looked at her and smiled "Of course sweet heart.."

"What sweet heart?" Manik said in an irritated voice..."You really think DJ I am gonna listen to you and taker her orders?" Manik said.. "You will Manik you will.." DJ said with a smile and Manik walked off with a smile saying "in your dreams.." Nandini took a deep breathe as soon as Manik left and sat on counch and started her work again.. DJ walked up to her and sat next to her and said "Are you sure Nandini you want to do this? It's going to be very tough being around Manik all the time..." Nandini looked at her and said "Yes I want to do this I want to show him that my self respect and my love is not something he is allowed to play with.." DJ smiled at her bravery and they both got back to work..

It was around noon when they all heard the announcement to assemble in the auditorium... Soon they all gathered and the leads were asked to come up on the stage.. Manik and Alya walked up together hand in hand.. Dhruv was looking for Nandini who just then walked in with DJ.. DJ asked her to join Dhruv.. Nandini looked at Dhruv who gave her a smile and she smiled back at him.. All this was very keenly observed by Manik who made a weird face and looked away and Manik was being keenly observed by DJ and Cabir who were finding it hard to stop their laughter...

DJ took over the mic and announced "from 4 pm on wards today we will start the rehearsal and both the the rehearsals will be done simultaneously and all the actors will have to be present for the both the rehearsals.. See you all at 4 pm." Soon they all dispersed and as Nandini was getting down from the podium DJ called her for some papers.. But as she turned her feet got entangled in her skirt and she slipped from the podium steps... "Aaa.." Nandini let out a scream and everyone turned around.. Manik got scared on seeing her falling.. He ran towards her and before he could reach her and hold her two hands had already taken Nandini in...

"Are you ok?" The voice asked.. Nandini who had closed her eyes as she was scared she moved her fingers to see she's safe in someone's arms.. She looked at the face he was ruggedly handsome guy in his early twenties.. He had deep blue eyes, black crew cut hair and the stubble made him look even more handsome... He put Nandini down and asked her "are you ok?" And before Nandini could reply DJ exclaimed "Abhi!!" the boy looked up and ran towards DJ shouting "hey beautiful.."

Abhi or Abhimanyu Malhotra was Manik's step brother.. He was Manik's father Mr Malhotra's first wife's son who lived with his mom in London and visited Mumbai once in a while.. Abhi was guy with a golden heart and very opposite to Manik.. Although he loved Manik very much but Manik could never accept him as his brother and Neyonika hated him as she feared him to be the part owner of Malhotra Industries being Mr Malhotr's son.. DJ adored Abhi and always felt guilty she couldn't give same affection to him like Manik... And the one important thing Abhi was madly and insanely in love with Mukti though she never reciprocated but he never gave up..

Abhi lifted DJ and twriled her around.. Much to Nandini's amusement and Manik's anger... "Abhi put me down..My head is spinning.." DJ was shouting and laughing and finally Manik had enough.. He held Abhi's hand and said "Enough..Didn't you hear what she said?" Abhi put DJ down checked if she's alright and turned towards Manik and said "relax lil brother.. first give me a hug.." Abhi moved ahead to hug Manik but Manik stopped him in between.. "I am not your little brother ok.." and he walked off.. Nandini was confused as to how Abhi was Manik's brother and all...

Just as she stood thinking Dj called Nandini "Nandini come here I will introduce you to Abhi.." and even Manik heard that and that was enough for him to stop and turn back.. Nandini walked up to DJ and DJ introduced Abhi as her elder grandson... Nandini smiled at Abhi and extended her hand saying "Hi nice meeting you and thank you for saving me.." Abhi smiled back at her, he took her palm and kissed it saying "that's how we say hi to beautiful girls in London.." Nandini rolled her eyes and Manik fumed... DJ pulled his ears "Abhi Nandini is not your regular type of girl, she's the most special girl so stop doing all this.." Abhi looked at DJ smiled and said "Oh then special beautiful girls should be greeted like this" and he hugged Nandini...

Nandini was shocked.. The only man she ever hugged was Manik and this hug took her by surprise.. She stood there all red and shy..While Nandini was shocked Manik turned green with envy.. He couldn't handle Abhi hugging Nandini... He removed his hands from Alya's and ran to the the podium.. By the time Manik reached there Abhi broke the hug and Nandini was looking down and Abhi was getting fake slaps from DJ for troubling her.. "How dare you?" Manik asked.. "Dare what?" Abhi asked... Come on Abhi.. how dare you touch her and hug her?" Manik said referring to Nandini and everyone was shocked..

"Lil bro she is a beautiful, special girl with the most special smile so she needed to be treated special.." Abhi said.. "There are many other beautiful girls with good smile go hug them.." Manik said to Abhi and turned towards Nandini and said "Let's go.." Nandini said "Why should I and I am not going.." Even DJ supported her "Manik why should she go?"

By now Manik had reached his peak patience point.. He was damn pissed "Because I am saying so.." "Well I am saying I won't.." Nandini replied back.. Manik was very very angry , he held her hand and said "Yes you are.." Even Nandini was angry by now.. She started hitting Manik's hands with her nails and said "Why should I am not.." Manik closed his eyes and took a deep breath and said "Because you are manager and your are supposed to come where i go.." and without waiting for anyone or anything he held her hand and took her out of the auditorium much to everyone's shock...
