"When your heart breaks..you gotta fight like hell to make sure you're alive.. that pain you feel.. that pain is life..that fear and confusion..its an indication there's something out there better and that something is worth fighting for.."

"Manik Malhotra.." A very commanding voice stopped Manik's steps.. He turned around to see DJ standing, he smiled instantly smiled "Hey DJ.." He went to hug her but she stopped him and it took just a moment for Manik to understand where it was heading.. "Oh please DJ of all people at least you.." Manik said.. "No Manik I am the most hurt off all people.. Today you failed me Manik.." DJ said with tears in her eyes... Manik was surprised...

"I failed you like seriously..You are arguing and fighting me for that girl?" Manik was shocked, he never expected DJ to react this extremely... "Yes Manik.." DJ was now angry.."I am fighting with you for that ONE girl who loved you without expecting anything from you not even your love...That one girl Manik who saw you when you lost yourself.. She saw a human in you and she loved you with all your flaws.. All your life you complained Manik that there's no true love but when you got you threw that away..." DJ was angry..very angry...

Manik was baffeld "Come on DJ she had it coming.. How dare she insult Manik Malhotra in his own college.. Who the hell is she?" "Manik..Do you realize what you are talking ?" DJ was baffled this time... How can you say that Manik.. You proved me wrong today Manik..All my life I thought I raised you with your grandfather's ideology but today I am wrong you are Neyonika's son just like her.. You are not his grandson you are Manik Malhotra..Neyonika Malhotra's son.." DJ wiped few tears that were falling from her eyes and for the first time in his life Manik looked down..He had nothing to say to her...

"Hmm..Manik you don't have to look down and feel sorry for my me.. If any person any damn person you want to feel sorry then it's gotta be you.. Have pity on yourself...And very soon.. mark my words Manik Malhotra.." DJ was about to say something when Manik stopped her and said "DJ" in a low voice but again he too was cut short by DJ "No Manik I am not your DJ anymore...The DJ you knew you killed her the moment you broke Nandini and from now on you shall call me Mrs Gayatri Malhotra til the day Nandini forgives you.." DJ ordered...

"You have lost it DJ.. I am not asking for forgiveness from anyone and her never why should I?" Manik said arrogantly.. Hearing this DJ let out a faint smile "One of these days very soon Manik Malhotra you are going to be on your knees and begging for forgiveness from her.. Very soon..: DJ said "In fact you love challanges right so I challenge you Manik 30 days just 30 days to realize how wrong you are and accept it.." Manik let out an evil smirk hearing this while DJ walked away.. Before entering her room she stopped and looked back at Manik who was still standing there "she was your stranger Manik..your stranger for whom you were mad even before meeting her.She's your stranger but your ego today won and your love lost and I will wait for the day when your ego will loose and love will win..." One person who was happy with this faceoff was Neyonika who heard every word.. She said to herself "Wow finally he's my son...and Nandini did I say you are my favorite girl.. What I couldn't do my whole life you did in few day.. kuch toh baat hai tumme.." and let a evil smile as she walked off..

Manik walked into his room gloomy.. The happiness that he experienced some time back was all gone... All that echoed in his head was "She's your stranger manik..your stranger.." he slumped on his red couch lost in Nandini's thoughts... Manik tried hard to drive away her thoughts but she just won't his head.. Manik became irritated he took the guitar lying next to him and was about to break him in frustration but remembered it was DJ's gift and stopped.. He walked in the wardrobe angrily and opened the locker and took out the crystal box.. He walked back into the bedroom, opened the box took out the anklet and the scarf and was about to throw them in fire but stopped..

Manik couldn't throw Nandini's memories.. He was angry if that girl doesn't mean anything to him why can't he throw her things... "get off my head nandini.." Manik shouted even as he put her anklet and her scarf back in the box safely and the box in locker... DJ who was right at the door listening.. She couldn't stop from grinning and murmured "She will not leave you head Mnaik cause she's in your heart and that's where she belong.. Game on Manik Malhotra.." and she texted Cabir to pick her up at 6.30 am next morning...

Nandini was lying on her bed looking at the fan blankly.. She closed her eyes to get some relief from this horrendous day.. But as soon as she closed Manik's flashback came their first meeting, their first fight, their first intimacy and all the beautiful moments came floating in front of her.. She opened her eyes, sat down and cried "Get out of my head Manik.." and she spent the rest of the night crying and sometimes looking out maybe Manik realized his mistake and came to make amends but he didn't come that night...

Two people one who broke in love and the one who broke her.. But did she really break or is he the one who broke in his quest to break her..Has she lost everything or did is he the one who lost everything.. Love finds us easily..That's why falling in love is the easiest thing but the toughest part is to take those few steps and embrace that love and most people fail there.. Manik broke Nandini, he won or that's what he thought.. If he won why wasn't he happy, why was his heart felt squeezed and why did every thought of his, every emotion of his ended with a picture of Nandini...
