"Now that's an interesting start to the birthday.." Manik said looking at a blushing Nandini, she was lying on his chest and her long black hair fell on Manik's face covering it.. Manik removed her hair and tucked it behind her ear and caressed her soft and supple cheeks... Nandini felt that someone was casting a spell on her and she was falling for it.. She closed her eyes to experience the feeling that Manik evoked with his every touch... Manik just couldn't believe Nandini was in his arms..

On the most special day of his life the first he saw was Nandini.. He kept caressing her face with his hands and when his fingers touched her lips Manik felt goosebumps.. For the first time a touch aroused so many emotions in him.. He could feel the lust, the love, the possessiveness, the need to care for her, protect her and to keep her just for him.. He was lost in Nandini when she spoke "Manik DJ asked me to give you tea.." trying to get up but Manik's grip on her was very firm.. He pulled her even more close to him "You know what day is today?" He asked.. There was just a few centimeters distance between them..Nandini's lips were shivering which made Manik go even more crazy...

"Itss..Itss your birthday.." A shivering Nandini said.. "Then wish me" Manik said as he moved closer and soon tip of his nose caressed her cheeks.. Nandini held Manik's shoulder tightly letting him get his wish...Manik moved closer to her and kissed her forehead..Nandini closed her eyes, he then moved down to kiss the tip of her nose and then both the eyes.. When he was about to kiss her lips there was a knock on the door.. "whose that?" He asked angrily.. "Alya mam is coming baba.. DJ asked me to inform you.." The voice from the other end said.. "Alya.." That name was enough to bring both of them to reality.. "What is she doing here> I broke up with her.." Manik tried to explain to Nandini who by then ran away...

Alya's unannounced arrival made Nandini sad and Manik angry.. DJ made her displeasure very public.. By the time Manik came down Alya was waiting with a huge cake.. Manik looked handsome in a black jeans and a white linen shirt.. He looked at DJ and went and hugged her, she blessed her grandson.. Then Alya ran to hug him but he stopped her in between she was disappointed but she forced him to cut the cake.. Manik looked at Nandini who was trying hard to stop her tears.. Her big, beautiful teary eyes broke something in Manik.. All the happiness that he was experiencing with her in his arms was gone with tears in her eyes.. Manik felt guilty of hurting her.. As Manik offered her cake she refused saying "I don't like sweets.." and walked into kitchen to look at breakfast arrangement.. Everyone knew that Nandini could eat sweets even in her sleep, DJ gave Manik an angry look...

Nandini was silent during the entire time they all were having breakfast.. DJ tried to lighten the atmosphere by her jokes but Nandini was hurt very badly hurt and Manik couldn't bear the sight of Nandini being sad.. Soon after the breakfast was done everyone was ready to leave for college...DJ announced that Nandini won't be coming with them as she would be going to beach house and she will accompany Manik and Alya to the college.. Though Alya was not happy AJ accompanying them but she was very happy that nandini will not be around Manik the whole day...

Manik and Alya were waiting for DJ in the living room when suddenly Manik felt a flash in his eyes.. He was blinded for a few moments.. When the flash reduced he looked around to see what was it, he saw Nandini sitting on the couch and untangling something.. He looked closely, there were small crystals and small bells and it was a bracelet sort of a thing.. "Bracelet" he thought when his eyes widened as Nandini untangled it and held it; it was an anklet..The same anklet which Manik had.. Manik's could not believe as Nandini held that straight. He ran and took the anklet from her and ran straight to his room leaving everyone confused... Nandini kept shouting "Manik..Manik.."

Manik went straight to the wardrobe and opened the locker, took out the crystal box and opened it.. He took out the other anklet and held both of them in his hands.. "Exactly same.." Manik's happiness knew no boundaries.. "I found her..I finally found her.." Words were failing Manik.. His happiness took over him and he just couldn't speak...He just kept looking at the anklets and "Nandini..Nandini...My stranger.." This was the beast birthday ever for Manik...

After a long time when Manik finally came down Nandini snatched the anklet from him and said "Don't you dare touch this anklet.. Its my Ams gift and I already lost one in Banglore and I can't afford to loose this one so don't you dare.." She gave angry look to Manik and said to DJ "DJ Iam going to the beach house.." and walked out... As soon as Nandini walked out Manik looked at DJ and she smiled "Yes.." Manik ran to her and lifted her to twirl.. "Its Nandini DJ.. Its Nandini.." he shouted as he twirled her.. "Manik stop I will fall down.." DJ pleaded him.. "Its Nandini and she was right in front of me all this while.. Can you believe.." Manik hugged DJ.. "Yes I know its her.." DJ said... "My stranger Nandini is my stranger..." Manik's happiness knew no boundaries..
