After his chat with DJ Manik was clam, the storm raging with him had settled a lot but he was still restless for Nandini.. He was lying on his bed thinking about her he remembered the book she was reading...He looked for his jacket and took out the book "Love Story" by Eric Segal...It was beautiful cover with red hearts all over it Manik opened the book and started reading the book.. It was a love story about two two opposites a rich boy Oliver Barrett who had everything money, luxury and great family rep but had nothing and simpleton girl Jennifer Cavalleri growing up with her father and was poor compared to Oliver's standards..

They met and disliked each other..She called him "preppy" but giving him strength to fight the oppression that he has suffered from the hands of father for years.. They fell in love in classic opposites attract scenario and did the unthinkable got married...Manik first intended to read just few chapters as he found these books very cheesey but once he started he could not just stop himself..He went to make coffee to keep himself fresh..Pages after pages he kept on turning engrossed in Oliver and Jennifer's story.. He could so identify with Oliver dealing with Neyonika day in and day out and like Jennifer is Nandini is the ray of hope that he got...

Manik kept on reading the love, their struggle and their togetherness.. Their tears made him cry, their success made him euphoric.. Oliver made it to being a successful lawyer and got a perfect life with Jenny..But fate had planned something else Jenny had Leukemia... "What Jenny has Leukemia??" Manik shouted "How can this happen why can't they be happy, they are perfect for each other so complete.." Manik was restless and scared too.. Yes Manik felt scared will Oliver loose Jenny no he can't destiny can't be so rude..

Manik prayed for him, Manik Malhotra prayed for a fictional character that exists in a novel written some 40 years back.. That's the power of love it makes even the toughest of hearts beat and feel and Manik after all was having the softest of hearts.. He wanted Jenny to survive to live for Oliver, to live for their love but she died after taking a promise from him to move in life she left him alone...A love which nothing in this love take down destiny took it down..

Manik closed the book and sat thinking can love do this can love heal a broken heart, can love heal me and can love heal Nandini?? Manik sat there thinking when he noticed a small inscription at the end of the book it was handwritten.. It read.. "Jenny didn't leave Oliver alone..She fulfilled her promise of loving him till death did them apart and death tore them apart...But Oliver was not alone Jenny gave him memories millions of big and small moments and love that changed his life, a love that changed him...Love, it never dies it lives on even after us like Jenny's love will live on..Love heals us, it heals a broken heart like it was never broken..Its crazy, insane and mad but if it's not it's love.."

Manik smiled he got his answers, he smiled as he moved his fingers through her hand writing with his eyes closed trying to feel Nandini and he fell asleep clutching the book.. It was 7 am when DJ walked into Manik's room seeing the door open and found him sleeping on his favourite red couch holding a book..A what??? She was shocked reading and Manik were like fire and ice..She slowly took the book and got another shock of life "Love Story" by Erich Segal..Manik and love stories...oh god is the world coming to end..DJ had a hard time stopping her laugh... She saw the name Nandini Murthy.. "Ohh" She smiled and placed the book back into his hands.. "Must be awake all night.." DJ thought as Manik was in deep sleep..She kissed his forehead and slowly closed the door behind her..

It was around 11 am when Manik woke up.. "oh ****.." I have to DJ to Nandini's home" he ran to bathroom when he came down wearing a blue jeans and black shirt he looked very handsome.. DJ couldn't take her eyes off him.. "What?" He asked.. "Someone's looking very handsome.." DJ said.. Manik blushed and said "Let's go we are getting late.." DJ picked up a huge box.. "What's this.." He asked.. "Nothing for you.." She said...After some 30 mins Manik and DJ pulled outside Nandini's house...As they got out DJ walked ahead but she saw Manik getting a final glimpse of himself before he knocked Nandini's doorbell..She smiled "Love made Manik Malhotra Romeo Malhotra.." she thought...
